Nobody suggested a kyatt instead of a terrorbird... they suggested a kyatt AS WELL AS a terrorbird. Fill your bird with brews and as the last slot have a kyatt pouch. Wait for him to charge his 750 attack or make clones. Hide behind a pillar and change familiars.

Lawl, I forgot people still used oak. Definately do teak. It's cheaper gp/xp and MUCH faster. make something like teak dining room tables or benches.

I remember having the same problem on my 1st try against him. You have to realise that in beserker mode, he uses MELLEE range. Previously he had been using MAGE range. Therefore, you really have to stand right next to him in order to stop him running off. When this happened to me, I decided to just home tele from behind a pillar... which is why I can honestly say he never killed me, but not that I did it on my first try.

If they just changed all misses to 1's, then attack would still be useful if you wanted to hit over 1 :D Plus, attack is required to weild weapons. strength is required to hit over 1, not attack. I know that, thats why i said, IF. I bolded the quote for emphasis. You're still not making sence. If we presume, that all misses will have a minimum hit of 1 (as you say) then with a + 200 attack bonus and 0 strength, all you'd hit would be a string of 1s. If, in the same situation, you had a +200 strength bonus and 0 attack, you'd hit a whole load of numbers greater than 1. Unless there's something I'm not understanding.

Why use a spirit kyatt? :blink: Because of it's scroll ability, it's an instant attack, if you spam click the scrolls it'll do a lot of damage to nomad, it's very usefull. *looks at death* Apparently not that useful.... Using that logic, having a Helm of neitiznot, using diamond (e) and ruby (e) bolts, d boots, pray, pots and indeed damaging Nomad at all is "not that useful...." But for anyone yet to complete nomad, I would STRONGLY suggest using a kyatt after your BOB runs out. Short of the very high level titans, it's the best damaging familiar to use.

For the most accurate answer, go ask the guys in general discussion on the rares thread. All I can tell you is the start sniping santas/halloween masks from the ge, trade these up to things like pumps/rings then use these to buy lower party hats and once you have enough of these, you can trade for a blue. That's most likely not even the correct order, but it's the best I can do.

I agree with the above poster. When I did nomad, I reckon I did about 5% of the damage to him from beserk to dead with my kyatt doing the rest. I was far too busy spamming brews to be able to restore AND hit him, so I just spammed the kyatt bar instead. Though I did this in d'hide and with a defence level about 20 lower than yours so it is possible that in your case you would be able to successfully tank him, in which case, I'd probably say use your whip. I know some people have claimed that he is weak to stab, but I have never seen any evidence to suggest this and I believer that it's just people thinking "ZOMG boss Fight that's SUPER HARD!!!!!!111!!! Must have the same weakness as Corp!?!!!" Tbh, he's not that hard. Just avoid his really hard hits, don't be afraid to use your brews and don't panic. He's A LOT easier than Jad as you can make loads of mistakes and still make it. GOOD LUCK!!!

Ok, I've read the guides and watched the vids, but there don't seem to be that many for the setup I want to use. I managed to snipe full battle robes and have a SOL. I have access to ancient magics. My mage level isn't that great, is it possible to successfully burst with mage in the 80s? I only want about 79 summoning for titans because I've got about a 30m cash pile that is losing value every day to inflation in my bank and I'd much rather convert it into xp. My questions are: What spell should I use at my mage level? Is there anything special I should watch out for be careful of? Any helpful points someone would like to throw my way? Thanks in advance

You're doing something very wrong then. Your stats are fine and indeed are better than mine when I did it. Setup: Neit (filled with kyatt scrolls_ Fury Black dhide top Rune c'bow Ruby (e) bolts Unholy book Dhide chaps Snakeskin boots Barrows gloves Archer ring Invent: Diamond (e) bolts 1 sup restore pot 7 reg restore pot rest sara brews + Tort filled with sara brews and a kyatt pouch in the last spot. Use this vid as your guide. There may be other equally good guides out there, but this is the one I used: I think the bit you need to watch is at 4:30. Although he uses a titan, kyatt is better. See how he changes familiars. You don't have to hide everytime you eat like the guy in the vid does (though you can if you're organised enough). For beserker mode, mellee pro pray, and just alternate from spamming brews and your kyatt spec bar. Remember to change your summoning quick click button to familiar details from take BOB. Also, you can use the F keys to change to your invent screen I think (I didn't use it, but you seem to be having severe problems so you might have to).

At beserker stage, just spam brews and kyatt spec. You really don't need to be attacking him. Regular restores are enough for this fight as you don't use enough pray to warrant sup. restores. Meh, I actually found him an easy fight because I took it very carefully and spent most of my time behind a pillar. good luck! EDIT: to be clearer. You do realise that when he has hallucinations and is charging for his 75 hit that you can stand behind a pillar and you don't have to tank him? use this time to dismiss tort and summon kyatt.

Unfortunately playing those games doesn't help people imbue rings which is obviously what OP is intending to do as he's asking about reward credits. OT: I think I read that if you start gambling max from 100 you can get pretty much everything.

That's been around for ages, I remember killing an Abyssal Demon with recoils at like 70 Slayer to see if I could get awhip. #-o Does it work for achievement diary tasks?

I can assure you that there is a reason for it. I don't want to give away one of my money making methods so I'm not going to say, but there's a definate reason why the prices are the way they are.

It's a gamble. Right now, most tt items have crashed significantly because of the update and people being scared that they'll become much more common. However, with all the new items that are being introduced it's very possible that the drop rate of sara armour will decrease, making it rarer and driving up the price to even higher than it was before! Of course it's still possible that even if this does happen, better armour will be released that sara rune meaning that it will crash. It's a gamble, either you're willing to take it or not.

Runecrafting is more profitable, but as it's really not that good of a money maker, even at the highest levels, it's just not worth doing it. Therefore it's better to assist/lamp rc and use the time you save making even more money doing something else. And if you're still not sure, Lan recently dropped about 70 effigies into RC. If that isn't a good example to follow, I don't know what is.

There's really no point in just "going for a skill". Especially for someone who is new to the game, I'd advise questing. Do all the quests you can, then work up so you're able to do all the quests in f2p. Not only will this get you a lot of skill levels but you'll also learn your way around and get to know about the lore of the world you're exploring. Have Fun!

Useful? not really. Sell to a friend TBH. They aren't worth that much street Thought so but was just checking. Going to sell to a friend now because I'm that nice. :P Your summoning isn't 99. Go get that before selling them.
