  1. WANT! Despite other people not liking the set, I think it looks lovely, really hope I can get my hands on it eventually! Dragon gold trimmed has a rising street value, too. It's currently much more sought after than the spiked set, even though I think with the exception of the DFH, the spiked set looks much cooler.
  2. cept its sword vs longsword not scimmy vs ls That's just semantics. For practicality, this is exactly the same as the d scim vs d long debate.
  3. They have a pretty high street price, like 15-30m a piece.
  4. Sorry to break it to you, but Bork drops both level 3 and level 4 clues. What you completed was a level 3-- level 4 clues don't have the traditional puzzles/emotes/riddles.
  5. It ticks me off that the new "guaranteed reward system" gives you t1 and t2 items in t3 clues. A crappy ****ing t1 willow comp bow should NOT count as my ONLY clue-specific reward from a level 3 clue. :-X
  6. Jagex goof'd all over the economy. The consequences will never be the same! Ahem. The level 3 masks will crash pretty quickly. Level 3 clues are abundant and from what I have seen, the green/blue/red mask drops aren't all THAT rare. Most of the level 4 items will probably stay more valuable than the GE price for a while. Level 4 clues are very difficult to obtain, as to have a good chance at getting one you need to FFA/solo a boss. The other monsters that drop level 4 clues (wyrms, metal dragons, bork, skeletal horror) are very unreliable because they usually drop level 3 clues instead (the horror will always drop a level 4 clue if it drops a clue, but it doesn't always drop one and you can only kill it once a week).
  7. IDK, but her protect melee only raises her defense. It's much more akin to Steel Skin than a protection prayer, as it doesn't reduce your damage at all.
  8. The spikes just seem a bit too overboard, especially on the full helm, looks pretty bad. Espcially the female version of the full helm. Think if I want to trim my Dragon armour I'll go with the gold trim now! Examples from the Rune wiki, it just looks gorgeous <3: (Although the full helm still looks pretty rubbish) Agreed on the helm. I traded my helm kit for a sq shield kit. Looks a lot nicer imo.
  9. Sure you can. It's called becoming an hero.
  10. The DFH has a third row of spikes down the middle, a frontal spike, two tiny spikes on the back of the helm, and two small spikes around the mouth that look like of like a moustache :S The D legs have two sets of twin spikes below the knee spikes. The D plate has an extra shoulder spike on each side and two tiny spikes on the abdomen. I'll get some pics of the skirt in a bit. ---> Female version:
  11. Now, if only I had the actual helmet...
  12. I sniped a DFH spike kit from the GE, so as soon as I get a DFH I'll upload a pic
  13. If Jagex wasn't a bunch of derp then maybe they would be able to fill out their own manual. herp derp
  14. I've seen the female version of the DFH and Dplate spiked, and the improvements aren't that drastic. The platebody has a third spike added in the center of each shoulder pad, a new arm spike, and two "lower abdomen" tusks like torag's platebody. The DFH is more impressive-- it has a third row of spikes on top of the helmet (down the middle), a couple of small spikes on the back of the helmet, a unicorn horn, and two tusks around the mouth. I haven't seen the legs or shield.
  15. One major gripe a lot of full-dragon-wearers had was that the sq shield didn't match the plate armor set at all, mainly because of the gaudy brown trim and the lack of spikes.
  16. I wish I had the items to be able to obtain some of these. I really want a spiked dragon plate set but I have no rares or anything and people dont want cash. :(
  17. Ahhh, that they are reusable is a great thing. That means the prices will not remain super-high for long.
  18. Can you post a pick of the modified platebody?
  19. The ornamental DFH looks like dog [cabbage]. I'd assume the prices on the ornamental kits will fall pretty fast. The spiked kits, on the other hand... I really want full spiked dragon, too.
  20. I really, really want the dragon plate spiked kits, and I'm willing to pay as much as 20m per piece, since I don't have any junk or rares :S Shame that nobody seems to have any. I don't really care that they'll probably crash in price in a couple weeks because dragon armor in general isn't all that popular... I am temp-quitting RS in a few weeks due to RL and I want to look badass in the meantime.
  21. Dragon masks, in particular. They wont last long, I don't think. They seem to be fairly common rewards.
  22. They should have made more things drop Level Four clues, too.
  23. Time to farm Bronze Dragons :)
