TBH you're being rude anyway. You can't judge someone solely on their levels. If someone is at a spot, you should just leave them to it and hop/go to a different spot. I like to think that people are courteous to each other, whether they be higher or lower leveled. That's naive. At many bosses, there ARE no empty spots. You HAVE to crash if you want a world.

Good god, 84 slots devoted to Treasure Trails. Makes me glad I quit doing level 3s. Hopefully elite TTs aren't heavy on weird emote clue gear. I'm really hoping Jagex doesn't require an obscure piece of gear, rendering it unbuyable for several weeks. "Do the air guitar emote at the hidden temple of Guthix while wielding a mind body, mudskipper hat, and white knight battle axe. Beware of the level 519 Triple Agent!"

FWIW, Spectral SS is bought out atm. I needed the cash and rarely ever do arma (and when I do, the DFS isn't that much different), so I put mine in the GE and it sold for max instantly.

I've long been in favor of "instanced" bosses. The issue lies with if there is an instanced boss, they'd need to make the boss either extremely difficult to kill or make the drops extremely rare, else the drops would be really cheap.

I used to feel like this, I really did. I used to loathe the hell out of crashers. But once you have done a fair amount of boss hunting, you come to realize that you're either the jerk or the victim. It's honestly survival-of-the-fittest, you are either strong enough to take a world or you will lose the world you have sooner or later, because there are way more people who want to do GWD than there are worlds (and spawns) available. Thanks to the EXP weekend, a large amount of people have access to overloads and high-level familiars, so the competition at all lucrative bosses is very tough.

Or you could just lure all 6 demons and mess up the guy's spot for a pretty long while :thumbup: There's ways to deal with that, if you're good enough at luring. What really ****ing bothers me when I go duo there are the idiots (who always have crappy gear like broad bolts and halberds) who try to solo in LS worlds. They take much longer to kill their demon than we do, so they inevitably end up ****ing up OUR lures because their demon spawns and wanders over to us because they are slow and suck at TDing. DONT [bleep]ING SOLO IN A LS WORLD YOU NOOBS

When someone is a [bleep] to me at TDs, I like to get out my Veracs and glitch all the TDs around their spot. :thumbsup: For those who don't know, if you attack a TD with Verac's set, it will eventually switch to Protect Melee and then get stuck on that. Then you have to kill it to get it to change prayers again ;) I do agree with you, though. GWD and DKs are the best money makers in the game-- it's only just that the best players beat out the rest the privilege of using them. There's no place for level 110s with whips and dragon armor at GWD. And I don't buy the "but how do we make money to get good?" There's plenty of methods to make money, though they may not be as enjoyable or as quick. Thanks to merchants, the prices of many herbs and seconds are extremely high, so you could kill Chaos Druids for herbs. Or you could do what a friend of mine is doing to earn enough for an AGS and take a cannon up to the Wilderness Green Dragons. That's pretty good money. Use your head, get creative. It will take work, but it can be done.

But you're almost maxed. A whole lot of manipulators don't have many maxed skills, mostly combats. I think the best fix for price manipulation is to go whole-hog CommunistScape. Make it where you can only own X amount of high-level items before the GE starts ignoring your offers. For example, you can only own 3 copies of an AGS-- one to use, one to placehold, one to lend. You can only own 2 copies of a spirit shield/sigil-- one to use and one to placehold. If you own more than that, any buy offers for more of those items will never fill. These limits would NOT apply to discontinued items. This would go a long way towards destroying the manipulator clans, as people would no longer be able to snipe expensive, rare items or perform complete buyouts in the GE. Sure, people would still junk-trade, but eventually people would be able to get a CS'd item with really rare items like spirit shields.

Only had to wait until the second BTS to lose hope. In my opinion they should only announce updates that are done, bug-tested, and ready. I dislike that the updates they announce at the beginning of the month aren't bug-checked until a few days until the update. Guess I'd go with whoever suggested they take a month out and just get their act together. Honestly, I'd be for them taking a few months off of major updates, making some epic new content, and then releasing it. BTW: We wouldn't have a 7 page thread here if we had new content. If they decided to take an entire month off in order to "get ahead" with programming so that they could always release bug-tested updates on-time, we'd instead have a seven page thread about "ofmg !!!!1 wtf is this [cabbage], a hole month wifout da updatez?!?!?!?! no updates no pay!111!shifteleventyone!"

In before next week's inevitable: "This is all garbage jamflex, these items suck! They aren't better than what we already have! They're too expensive/rare! They don't even look good! Waaaaaah! "

I did it while only distracting two of the healers. However, I am 99 ranged and I was on a fight caves slayer task, so that helped. I also used deflect curses, which helped tremendously, as most of Jad's attacks will reflect back 50-80 damage. That is very helpful.

How you manage to sit through all the wasted time with bad teams to get that is beyond me. Getting 70 is hard enough :wall: My teams are fine. Usually done within 40, most of the time under 35. [/hide] How do you find so many quality players? Clan.

Mistakes happen. What I'm trying to say is it's not their fault it's happened... They met the deadline just something else failed. No, it is certainly their fault, it may be forgivable, not a problem, insignificant, but it was their fault. It's their fault they didn't check everything. I'm cool with waiting a week, but don't start saying that it wasn't their fault. At the end of the day, It's a game. Who cares? For people that say: 'Me, I pay money.. etc etc.." Stop paying money then. I tire of that "it's just a game/it's just pixels" argument. No, it's more than that for many people. RS is a hobby for most people who post on this site.

This is actually what I'm most worried about. Every time they try to update the graphics, it seems to break a whole lot of stuff.

Why? I can understand both parties. It was supposed to come out today, it didn't. Not a huge deal, but they also didn't do what they said they would. Some people seem to think that saying something negative is always bad. Criticism doesn't always need to be constructive. If you don't do what you say you will do, then expect to take grieve from it. I don't think he was condemning disagreeing with Jagex over this. I think he was just reminding us to back down the aggression a bit and try to remain civil with each other.
