Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
A whole lot will depend on the token costs of these new items/abilities. I can't see too many people using the deflect ring in dangerous areas if it costs 200k or more tokens, especially since (with the exception of the onyx i) rings have a very low protection value.

They'd need to say "we're planning to release it later in the week" instead of "on a specific day" in case the QA team takes a rare break from the golf course and decides to check the update over. There would be lots of rage if they said "We are planning to release it on Wednesday" and then when Wednesday rolled around, they said "We found some unexpected bugs in the update, so we had to delay it a few days."

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Fury Ornamental Kits seem to be the interim currency atm. Most people are gauging them at 200-300m street. Dragon Plate (or) kits also have a lot of street. Most/all of the new dragon masks have crashed.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Do you have ANY evidence to support this? Divine, Spectral, and Elysian sigils all dropped by 11.2k. Lolwut? EDIT: Blessed Spirit Shields rose by 11.2k, so that's an ass-backwards price-correlation.

In response to one of the understandably irritated people on the RSOF: "Calm down! There isn't a game update today. Nothing is delayed, it wasn't even planned for release today! In short: There will be a game update this week. It won't be today." So... it wasn't planned for today, even though it has been routine to update on Tuesdays? <_<

Hardly unexpected. Every update has a delay these days. Wednesday updates are FTL.

The Limitations and Uses of Bandos
Because PvP Armor protects over more valuable items.

I hate you, Jad...
If all else fails, get your prayer up to where you can use all three Deflect Curses. With deflects, you only really need to worry about three of the healers (less with a slayer helm and/or high ranged level). You will deflect back as much or more damage with most of Jad's attacks than one healer can restore. (I believe the healers restore 50 LP per healer every three seconds).

Item Risk
This isn't possible when 1) you're soloing (which you should be for everything other than corp. Team GWD is for noobs); 2) your computer crashes, internet crashes, etc. Even though those are low-probability events, low probability events eventually will happen. Team GWD is more efficient than solo at Zil and Arma. Soloing Zil is very irritating, and soloing Arma is not time-efficient because of the tedious KC. Trios are generally the norm for both of those bosses. But yes, if you get a power outage or your internet jacks up, chances are you will be gone for more than five minutes.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Actually, true high-level players don't do Bandos in teams, anyway. They solo it in non-LS worlds using a Yak, where it is far more profitable since you are getting 100% of the drops including the highly valuable Ourg Bones. TDs and Frost Dragons far eclipse the gp/hr you make doing a 4-man (or larger) bandos team.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Actually, if crashing ceased to exist (somehow, without making worlds instanced), the price would remain the same. The reason for that is there would still be a team in every world; therefore, no more or less BCPs would be entering the economy.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Pretty sure I'm not. I just find it funny the lengths people have to go to to justify their crashing (I seriously lol inside every time someone mentions efficiency and fun). At any rate, I like your analogy. If someone is taking too long at the vending machine, push them out of the way. Yeah, that makes sense. its the reason I don't justify 138s crashing 110s at bandos, there only going to last a kill or two, let them have there fun, and then you can have yours. However at somewhere like dks (at peak times), if there's a level 110 hes going to last 2+ hours, so crashing him IS justified. Also, sly, you cant argue with the fact that crashing creates faster kills as well as the motivation for low->mid level players to train there stats, which is POSITIVE for runescape as a whole. If there is a small team of lower levels at Bandos, usually my team will give them a warning before we go in. Usually something like "You have 2 kills until we come in."

The Limitations and Uses of Bandos
Well as long as you have at least +10 prayer, you're going to be able to complete most tasks on a single invent of prayer potions, so Bandos + fire cape is actually the best possible setup for slayer if you can afford the prayer potions. Bandos + SW cape is more economical, though, and only slightly less effective (it's also more invent-friendly, which I like). The goal is to use up as few pray pots as possible, though.

The Limitations and Uses of Bandos
Proslyte +Turmoil grossly outshines Bandos if you use an SGS and special restore potions. I was able to kill 133 gargoyles in around twenty minutes (with the auto-kill ability) while only consuming one four-dose prayer potion like this. I prefer a verac skirt over proslyte, however, for the added defense.

Battle robes
its more like hood 500k, bottom 3m, top 7m. Robes lost a lot of street after crowns crashed. I still see a good amount of people selling them on forums/w2 for around 20m
-
Battle robes
Lets put it like this: Street on hood: ~1m Street on skirt: ~3-5m Street on top: ~15-20m The top is by far the most expensive piece in FoG, which is why it has the highest street price of the set. A full set is like 20-30m street.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Or instanced bosses, sure. Or unique, untradeable drops of which you don't need dozens (like rune defenders but without the semi-decent xp). I strongly agree with this. Good gear should be rare, untradable drops from a hard monster. Makes it a lot harder to get. Agreed. I'm sick of how all the best stuff is obtained through luck-based drops. The dungeoneering rewards were a step in the right direction, although the shields could have been much better.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
The bottom line is that for most high levels (there are a few who are just douchebags, plain and simple) only crash because of necessity. At KBD, Bandos, and to a slightly lesser degree Sara GWD, crashing is the most efficient way to get a world. It's irritating and wasteful to spend thirty minutes going through every single LS world looking for an empty one (and at Bandos you aren't going to find one unless you coincidentally log in right as a team is leaving, in which case you will probably have to fight another team that was waiting for the world, anyway) when you could just crash a team of lower leveled/worse-equipped people and take their world. We do not crash because we enjoy it (well, most of us anyway) or because we feel entitled to the spots because we are higher leveled-- we crash because there are limited worlds and hopping to each one trying to find an empty world (which is often nonexistent) is a humongous waste of time. Like I said earlier, we do what we must because we can. Most high levels don't really get "kicks" from driving lesser-skilled players out of a world... it's just what has to be done when there are such limited resources. It's nothing personal. As for the comment above me, if you get crashed by a low-level team, you weren't strong enough. GWD is very much "survival of the fittest" and if you get successfully crashed by a low level team, you are most definitely not the fittest and would have been crashed by an elitist team sooner or later (probably sooner). If you are a high level team and a low level team crashes you at GWD, chances are it will just provide LULZ as they merely speed up your kills without ever getting any. With regards to luring, that's only really a problem at DKs or TDs, both of which you can avoid death pretty easily if you stay calm. If some douchebag lures Prime on you when you are fighting Rex, you can just protect magic and safespot rex (or SOL spec if push comes to shove); if he lures both Sup and Prime on you, just tab out or, if you are brave and think you can make it, tank Sup's attacks and make a dash for the ladder. And as for TDs, teleporting out resets the spawns if some jerk lures a bunch over to you. Teleporting may mean the crasher wins, but it's better than you losing tens of millions in items.

READ HERE FIRST FOR TEMPLATE!
According to runewiki, the new god bows have a speed the same as rune crossbows. This makes them practically worthless for a normal attacking ranged weapon, since you sacrifice the defense of a shield and the strength of bolts. For a spec weapon, the dark bow is superior anyway.
