I hate all of you [bleep]ers who got your defenders in under 10 kills. It took me over fifty of the small guys to get mine (which Jagex later stole via emergency system rollback).

DFS is mainly for boss killing. Rune/dragon defender > DFS everywhere except DKs, Bandos (solo/tank), and Armadyl GWD.

I'm confused...what were you doing wearing them both....in a situation where you can loose them? That, or someone stole his cyclossus kill due to lag and it dropped a mask and drag def. EDIT: I know that's not how drops work, I do believe he's just looking for more reason to rage at the update :unsure: Server I was in crashed, it did its rollback of fifteen minutes.

So I lost a dragon defender and a cyclossus mask because of Jagex's [cabbage]ty [bleep]ing servers. Thanks [bleep]ex, thanks a lot.

Go read the tech forum on the RSOF, it's somewhat amusing. W157 ate our accounts.

Same thing happened to me. It's happened before in the past; most likely, that server crashed and we're stuck in limbo for the time being.

You can really easily steal a cyclosus. That's [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed]ed. 0/10 for this piece of [cabbage] update. :angry:

Jagex fails again. FWIW, I am pretty damn sure at least some of the people in there are botting. They consistently get the kill even though they aren't even using knives.

AGS will likely crash to below SGS after the damage soaking update. There will be no point at all for it anymore, except for lending to remove junk...

It's a pointless update, it helps nobody. All it ends up in achieving is slowing you down from looting.. I hope they remove it but knowing jagex they most likely wont. I don't see their reasoning in adding it. There's a lot of stuff they do that makes no sense.

Maybe-- I really hope so-- but I don't have very high expectations. Jagex have proven that they don't have a flying [bleep] of an idea what their players want. They believe in creating competition between players; however, if they only created one or two spawns per world, it would go way beyond "competition" and into "extreme frustration." 300+ people trying to get one or two spawns is just [bleep]ing ludicrous, and it would be a humongous ragefest. Also, it'd open up the possibility of DoSing the world by having some douchebag troll with brews and flowers monopolizing the spawn.

Spectral sucks for everything expect Arma GWD. If you're going to get a spirit shield that isn't a Div/Ely, get an Arcane. It'll benefit you far more with Barrows and allow you to mage-slay decently.

Do it with people you know. BA is no different from PC, GWD, DG, or any other team-based activity. The public worlds are saturated with lazy, brain-dead 14 year-olds who either don't know how to do it or don't care, though it's usually both. Hell, even "Fast SC" has suffered from noobs contaminating it; games used to take around 10-12 minutes a long time ago... Now it usually takes around 14 minutes per game, which is terrible.

I'd rather use my money to keep paying for membership renewals. :rolleyes:

Oo, that's right. Well, wind strike will be good for getting it's attention. And i don't mind the way it looks, i mean, what exactly do we expect? The current defenders don't look at all very thrilling or interesting. So I'm glad it looks different. Although i guess the could have made it a bit more define. Like maybe make it a bit longer/more detailed. And i just realized something. If you seriously have to fight over one spawn in a single combat zone, and it has a rather rare drop rate... Couldn't someone just start trolling a world by going in full tank gear and attacking it with flowers? Yes. That's one of many problems with this if Jagex is stupid enough to make only one spawn in single-combat for it. The other issues are that because it apparently has a knock-back + stun attack, someone can steal your spawn... And of course with hundreds of people in the room on every world, getting that one spawn will be ragequit worthy. I really, really hope Jagex isn't that [bleep]ing dense. I will spam the [cabbage] out of their forums with my complaints if they do make only one or two spawns.

Is this mainly a f2p issue? I haven't seen any "no chaotics" in....ever.... Yeah, because the majority of clans concentrate on F2P and those that are dedicated to P2P pvp don't do it in CWA. But a while back when I was RSD and we would have the occasional P2P CWA fight, usually the rules featured no GWD items, no claws, no PvP armor/weps, and no spirit shields. It was meant to be more fair to both sides, so that the winner was based on the clan's actual skill and not who could afford what. Most F2P full-out wars (i.e. no return after death), whether CWA or in the Wild, feature no corrupt and no dg items as blanket rules agreed on by both sides-- the Gravite 2H is extremely powerful in F2P, given the defense provided by armor and the amount food heals. Run-ins are a little different in the wild and rules are more relaxed. The reason being is that since people are able to return after dying, you don't gain a decisive advantage by using said equipment since you'll eventually end up losing it.

Dunno. But it doesn't really matter, since it's too much effort to replace for it to be used in the Wildy, and most CWA clans don't allow the use of DG items in fights.
