  1. TruthScape is your friend. http://www.truthscape.com/html/ts_TruthScapeMonsterSecretsIceTrollsCannonTrainingGui.htm
  2. Cockroach workers, but soldiers may be better now because rune scimitars have gone way up.
  3. I find that quests are actually more enjoyable when you do them with a guide than without. If you don't have a guide you have to be constantly running around collecting things and wondering what to do next, but if you do have one you don't have to worry about all that as much and you'll be able to enjoy the storylines, etc.
  4. Killing the Jad in less than 10 seconds. The record I believe is 20 seconds, but it can be done in much less than that if you get extraordinarily lucky with a DDS.
  5. 'Ages ago' rune scimmys were 15-20k. Now they're 35k. I suspect that workers are still better, but you have to consider market changes. Opinion? Whether or not you think one training spot gives better xp than another is not a matter of opinion, it is a matter of how much information and data you have.
  6. Do NOT use bone bolts at aviansies; use broad bolts or mith/addy if you don't have 55 slayer. Bone bolts are really weak and you'd make a lot more money with more powerful ammunition.
  7. Lesser demons suck for xp, suck for drops, they're in an isolated area, they hit hard, and they're often crowded. Why are you killing them? If you want xp, do giant spiders. If you want drops, do cockroach workers. If you want a balance between the two, do ice warriors/giants or ankous.
  8. How is prayer faster than tanking?
  9. Grow the best allotment you can to start out. Grow marigolds starting at level 2. Once you reach level 9 start planting herbs. Use supercompost on EVERYTHING. Once you can farm ranarrs (32 I think) you'll start raking in massive profit  You can keep on growing allotments if you want to level up quickly.
  10. You'd need a zammy kite and sara cloak/cape (or vice versa) unless you're in the Eyrie, in which case you'd only need a zammy item. It *should* work at higher levels if you have B2P or bunyip with a full load of food (bunyip alone probably wouldn't work). Aviansies with NO god items whatsoever? Do you want to die or what? Some of the sara NPCs hit insanely hard. And the gorak would own you. Unless you're in the Eyrie, but you'd still need a zammy item.
  11. There's four herbs that are good for money: kwuarms, snaps, ranarrs, and toadflax. I've been told toadflax is the best; though they're all pretty close in terms of profit (all somewhere around 10-15k profit per patch). Snap and ranarr seeds are both 20k+, while kwuarms seeds are 5k and toadflax seeds are like 500.

Do you mean aviansies? You'd need armadyl (pendant or armor), saradomin (god d'hide), and zamorak (god d'hide).
  13. He wants the best way to train strength, whip on controlled is not the answer.. It's the most efficient way to train melee if you want attack, strength, and defence levels.
  14. Helm: Torag's or other barrows Cape: Accumulator Quiver: Broad or addy if you don't have 55 slayer Ammy: Armadyl unless you can afford armadyl armor, in which case use fury or glory Chest: Black/god d'hide Legs: Black/god d'hide Boots: Ranger boots or snakeskin Gloves: Barrow gloves or black/god d'hide Shield: DFS or granite/obby Ring: Archer Inventory: 10 or more B2P tabs 20 nats (they drop nats) At least several hundred fires Two or three range pots 15-20 pieces of food; cheaper stuff like salmon or tuna is sufficient Two laws (if Eadger's Ruse complete) or 12 gp (to buy climbing boots) 1 one-dose regular restore pot 1 one-dose range pot 1 one-dose super defence pot Pick up addy bars, and all runes besides mind and body. Alch rune daggers and runite limbs. Use swordies as food. Keep several herbs/gems in your inventory, swapping them for better ones as necessary. Once you have 4-5 ranarrs I would suggest you leave.
  15. Two incredibly important questions: 1. How long was your trip? 2. Is this drop rate typical? I have heard numerous testimonials saying that roach workers are better than soldiers. Personal experience also backs that up; though that's not a good argument considering that melee stats in the upper 60s are basically required to kill soldiers effectively. In general I have found that free players tend to be very unknowledgeable about which monsters are the best to kill (hence crowded lessers) and other things like that, in spite of how few content they have compared to members. I'm not sure why this is.
  16. Don't return here, ever. Cockroach workers suck for F2P.
  17. Be more specific about your stats. Lvl 72 could mean a lot of things. But overall, I would recommend cockroach workers. The OP's F2P...
  18. Yes. You'd get 50-53 in like two or three runs. At very low cost, too.
  19. Ahrim's would be much better, but it would still suck. It makes no sense to not use super strengths, considering that they cost much less than prayer pots and you'll use up much less of them.
  20. And I disagree with you. Bunyip and my stats (85 att, 88str, 82 def) gets ~100 crimsons per hour. I highly disbelieve that. Dharok's, piety, and 95+ in all combat stats only gets 110-120 per hour, max. But with 82 attack, 82 strength, and 60 prayer my friend makes a profit at waterfiends while getting something like 50-60 crimsons per hour, which is reasonably effective.
  21. 70 defence is pretty much a requirement for tanking aviansies, so it'd be a better idea to pray.
  22. I think it would be a good idea, but for a different reason. Melee's pretty overpowered compared to range or mage in F2P, so an update to range would be helpful. It's not really fair that melee has level 40 equipment while range has only level 30.
  23. Probably an overhaul on Magic to make combat spells more cost effective. Right now fire bolt, the cheapest spell that does a decent amount of damage, costs as much as a crystal bow and is way weaker. And the more powerful spells, like fire wave or claws of guthix, are extremely expensive compared to melee or range. Burst/barrage should cost the same as they do now, though.
