The majority of 'all those fights' in the Old Testament happen to be documented history. And you don't believe that that the fight between David and Goliath actually happened?
  2. North Korea is one of the weakest countries in the world. Being secretive is one thing, but disguising a large, strong and prosperous nation as a severely deprived and weakened one is downright impossible, not to mention stupid. Are you honestly suggesting that the US should attack Russia or China for no reason whatsoever? More like an idiotic thought than an incomplete one.
  3. All modern nukes are hydrogen bombs. Fission bombs are obsolete. And the only way a nuclear war can possibly happen between two countries is if somewhere somehow a brain-dead monkey is assigned to be a high-ranking government official. I don't know why most people think that all-out war between two nuclear countries can result in even the possibility of the use of nukes. The USA's economy is about three times the size of Japan's, the second largest in the world. It's position as most supreme isn't even close to debatable.
  4. Weapon: TDI Kriss submachine gun Song: From the Inside by Linkin Park Person: Alice from the Resident Evil movies
  5. The US has the second largest army in the world, I think, with first being China. And I'm pretty sure China's army is all-volunteer too (because if China had a draft they would have way more than 2.5 odd million). But the US is definitely the strongest nation in the world. Second is probably Japan, followed by maybe China and then a bunch of European countries like Germany and the UK. EDIT: Military is NOT the best indicator of how strong a country is, that honor being given to economy. It would certainly matter in a war, like if a country with a stronger military fought a country with a stronger economy (for example, Germany versus Russia in WWII), the first country would have a big head start. But the ability to fight a war =/= power.
  6. Yeah, it's pretty much crap, but that's no reason for you to give up. Have you heard of a magic something called revision?
  7. Name: Aris Morton (Male) Age: 26 Class: Ranger Richness: Middle Class Armor: Platebody, and scale mail covering arms and legs, and helmet when expecting danger/combat; usually just plain clothes Weapon: Large repeating crossbow as well as longsword (again, he usually doesn't walk around town with these things) OOC: I hope higher-level monsters give extremely high amounts of experience, because, for example, it takes 10737418240 exp to get from level 30 to level 31.
  8. I know some MMOs with worse graphics than the new detail mode that are 'acceptable'. And judging a game by its graphics isn't the same as judging a book by its cover. Graphics can dramatically enhance the gameplay.
  9. Triple post.
  10. Quadruple post.
  11. Whoops extra post. Dang lag.
  12. It's totally void of any logic whatsoever. Most of the events are impossible, and practically all of them are absurd and stupid. You've got some nice descriptions, though.
  13. Nice story, besides a few things. First, no government would impose taxes so high that they would badly impact the economy unless they are trying to oppress the people, which is something you might want to add to your story. Second, if the old woman knows Kenneth very well, then wouldn't she have let him in right away? Third, if they already have a headquarters, why would they want to use Mrs. Bailey's deli as a meeting place?
  14. Not to be negative or anything but WoW's graphics are still A LOT better. I don't think so. Looks bad. Well obviously whether it looks better than WoW or not depends on personal opinion, but WoW's graphics are still much more advanced (as in higher resolution plus way more polygons) than RuneScape's. Look at the player in the Ardougne screenshot with the d'hide. OVAL EYES FTW! Did you honestly think that Jagex will just suddenly halt work on graphical improvements after the updates have finished?
  15. No, it's a great way to make money. I'm not sure how, but if Qeltar says so then it's probably true ;) Personally, I could live without Firemaking, but as others have pointed out it isn't useless to the point that it deserves to be simply removed from the game.
  16. Since when could rampant criticism threaten a company?
  17. Lol, I like all of those.
  18. You have to start a paragraph every time a new person speaks, and I'm surprised that I'm telling you this considering how proficient you are as a writer.
  19. Yeah, John DeFoe is awesome. Incidentally, the games are made by the same guy who does the Zero Punctuation reviews.
  20. Congrats! They're awesome! Fook's one is my favorite. I still think that mine's pretty good.

That means the Fifth Age was pretty short, then. I've always believed that the Sixth Age shouldn't begin until dwarves colonize the moon. Okay, then. Any story that mentions Tutorial Island anywhere should involve the actual game RuneScape (as in someone in the story is playing the game or something). How could the Kandarin troops attack Misthalin without entering Asgarnian territory (and why would every single person in the region march to war)? And you mentioned the alliance between men, dwarves, and elves being broken in the first paragraph, but the rest of the chapter is entirely about humans, without anything about the dwarves and elves. I'm assuming that this isn't a comedy, so cheesiness is not acceptable.
  22. 187 dollars a month is not considered a good job in China. That's only six bucks a day, which is a fraction of what the average Chinese person makes.
  23. If you're older than 11, as your posts imply, then you should know how to do this.
  24. Spongebob's been one of my favorite shows since I was about seven. Every episode makes me laugh. My favorite is the one where Spongebob bought a million dollar hat   U is for U and me! N is for aNywhere and aNytime and all down here in the deep blue sea... F is for Fire that burns down the whole town! U is for Uranium... bombs! N is for No survivors....
