Am I missing something here? The new interface is WAY better.

Why would jagex do that? Andrew has come to our site many times when RSOF and the site were down to explain what happened. Eh? What the hell are you talkin' 'bout? :-s Tip.it has had the privilege to be the first large-scale fansite with a very active forum since 2001.. Especially in the early phases of RS, tip.it was considered almost an "official" fansite for RuneScape because it became so popular, and the creators Andrew/Paul would often post here and commenting on new suggestions/debates. As RS became more and more commercialized though, they started posting less and less on tip.it. I doubt they even posted on other forums. We even have special avatars made for them: But as you can see from the post count, they don't really post at all now that they have the official forums re-opened (for quite some time now). I read somewhere that Tip.it created accounts for some staff at Jagex, so I typed in "Andrew" a while ago to see if that was true. I was wondering why 211cole said that Andrew visiting here would prevent Tip.it from including MechScape :-s . EDIT: Oh, I get it now.

I've heard so many stories recently, and seen for myself, a lot more lag and server crashes and client crashes and dodgy connections at jagex's end, honestly, i posted this in the thread on the rsof....they need to fix all this first..or summoning will just make it much much worse. Lag? On RuneScape? Lol. Jagex knows what its engine is and isn't capable of.

Gamma is the name in which they gave the starting stage of MechQuest. Large Image Where'd you pull that from? I meant that RS is already 3D (judging by the way you worded your post, it seems that you think it's 2D). The notion that graphics are anywhere near as important as gameplay is lunacy. MechQuest must be different than 99.9% of games, then.

Anyone who thinks that RS is 2D should get their computer manual and flip to the "arrow keys" section. yea, Sun declared it as known limitation... :wall: It wont be SUMMONING but for different reasons. I also was thinking of new continent. Lol. Besides, the player kit update wasn't a graphical update. It was just an improvement to character customization. Pirates and Edgeville Guards still have more polygons than we do.

The ice angel is Zilyana, I think. I also think that the "alien" is a gorak. They do look a lot like the concept art on the RuneScape website, but I doubt their real.

Yes, those graphics are amazing, though the ship models are, to say the least, weird.

- People could do it without a team - No real challenge - Not that good rewards (god swords vs whip? ) (the bandos is good, that's true) - not really as big as we expected? - A lot of boss monsters/areas can be done without a team, as I recall only ONE boss out of the four can be easily soloed. Didn't they fix the Zammy boss anyway? I recall they did something to the guardians to stop them wimpering away in the corener whilst you soloed the boss itself, but I'm unsure if it's no longer solo-able. - No real challenge? Ever tried fighting the Saradomin boss? - The rewards are great. The GS is a great weapon; it might not be that much better than a whip but it has some brilliant specials. Double :| Larger? The GWD is bigger than Varrock, with 200 NPC spawns. With the GWD came about a dozen high-level items.

Many RPGs have you doing quests to level. Much less repetitive.
