  1. Woah, another person to max out to 2277 Total! Now that those players, and others to come will be battling for the first page in the Overall Hiscores, the competition is really going to heat up. Which can be a good thing, as now people won't be taking things easy, and realise the value of their position in the Hiscores. Some of the people higher up in the Top 21 are fine for now, especially the Top 3 players, who are way ahead the remaining lot in the Top 21 Hiscores. It'll be interesting to see how things go, and who knows, maybe someone will catch up to Zezima! - Honoured :.
  2. I think your Prayer Level is fine for now. You should probably sell your Guthan Armour and Fury, and then look into achieving a 99 Stat? Such as Fletching, where you can actually make a profit from and it's a fast Stat to level. I would advise you to get 90 Prayer only when you have good money-making Stats to fall back on, to get back on your feet, because 90 Prayer costs a lot of money, and your other Stats won't level if you don't have much money to invest in them. - Honoured :.
  3. Wow, that's immense! 52 with an Abyssal Whip and with the Piety Prayer is a deadly combo . Seeing as you can hit 50's with Range, I think that's balanced between those two. But Magic still hits around 32 with Ice Barrage. So it's still far away from the 50's which the other two Combat styles are reaching. I feel that the damage which the Combat styles are doing is far too much, when comparing them with the maximum level of Hitpoints. So, that part is slightly ruined, unless they came round to increasing the HP Level. Other then that, it seems like a very useful update!. - Honoured :.
  4. Another disgusting case to see :boohoo:. What sounded freakishly wierd was the fact that the Mother actually thought a relationship such as this was perfectly normal, and allowed her to live in their house for the long period of time that she did. Ah well, I hope justice has been done to the Woman and let's pray that nothing of the sort happens again. - Honoured :.
  5. Before bringing out a new Quest, Jagex will always try and look for new requirements for a Quest, so that things don't overlap and become repetitive. So, with the latest Quest that's come out is just simply a coincidence. There was bound to be a Quest which required a high level of Defence, and unfortunately for Pures, it's come at this time. Not a lot they can do about it, because Jagex wanted to balanced the Game out with the Quest requirements and have done so. I would guess Players who refuse to train their Defence level to 65 will not be able to do the Quest, and just the way it goes. So, they'll miss out on the Quest, and furthermore, lose the ability of the Quest Cape. Fair or unfair? Well, that's another discussion :o. - Honoured :.
  6. A cheap way to raise Smithing is by making Iron Knives. You can buy Iron Bars for about 200GP each, and them smith each bar into 5 Iron Knives. Each 1,000 Bars will make you 5,000 Iron Knives, which can be sold for 40GP to 45GP. This gives you fast EXP, and you're not making a loss. Not particularly sure how many you would need, because I couldn't find you on the Smithing Hiscores. - Honoured :.
  7. Yeah, grounded unicorn horn is basically Unicorn horn dust. Just another name for it :). - Honoured :.
  8. The difference between Combat and Crafting, is the fact that you can get straight into Combat if you have a Weapon. But with Crafting, you need various materials/equipment before you can even think about leveling. So, a lot of people can't find the motivation to Craft straight away, and neglect it for a while and think about other things, such as Combat, Woodcutting, Fishing, ETC. Skills which you can get into straight away, just by obtaining 1 item. That's my opinion Crafting, and from personal experience, I crafted to a high level when I had enough money to afford it. I wouldn't want to get stuck into a Skill if I could only level 20 levels or so. Instead, I would wait until I had enough money to raise to an appropriate level of which to my satisfaction. And to what I'm capable of. Interesting topic, I must say :-k. - Honoured :.
  9. Granite Legs, right now, are worth 1,100,000GP to 1,200,000GP. - Honoured :.
  10. Don't trust anyone with your valuable items, and nothing can go wrong. Simple as? And if you break rules with transferring items, I suppose you deserve it. - Honoured :.
  11. Here's the Northern Ireland and Scotland flags are requested: Scotland: http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:uzG ... otflag.gif Northern Ireland: http://thirdwar.cncguild.net/300px-Nort ... d_flag.png \. - Honoured :.
  12. To add to this; He'll charge you 20,000 Gold Pieces for a replacement Dagger! - Honoured :.
  13. It would be far too complicated. Jagex would need to re-think their current Achievement Emotes, and come up with loads of variations (Cooking with Agility, Woodcutting with Mining, ETC). To keep things nice and simple, the current way of Achievement Emotes is running smoothly, and things would get far too confusing when you would have all these different mixes of Capes about. - Honoured :.
  14. There's no need to make Pros and Cons for selling Lobsters. Go and look around World 1, Major Pking Worlds in Edgeville, and Forums. You'll see countless people selling Lobsters all the time, in large quantities. With selling Apple Pies, you'd probably see 1 or 2 people selling them.. each week. Not much else to say, but Lobsters are the way forward, in comparison to Apple Pies! - Honoured :.
  15. There isn't much of a market for Apple Pies. Simply because it takes the same time to eat 1/2 of an Apple Pie, as you can eating a whole Lobster. So it's a lot more efficient to heal quicker, then to heal more, but in a longer space of time. So if you were to choose whether to cook Lobsters or to make Apple Pies, then I would strongly suggest to cook Lobsters. As there is a far larger market for them. - Honoured :.
  16. Really interesting to know where the Top #21 Overall players actually come from, and some surprised me, especially English King. Go Monkey Moejo! :P. - Honoured :.
  17. Nevermind, it was fixed last night by someone from the Tip.It Chat called Mike. Everything is working fine, now, and my apologies for not replying to this Thread sooner #-o. - Honoured :.
  18. Well, I have no idea how this happened, but it just has and it looks like this: Anyone know how I can fix this? I would be ever so grateful. - Honoured :.
  19. I know Black Elegant is around 1.3mil to 1.5mil and Red Elegant is around 800k. Elegant clothing is P2P. - Honoured :.
  20. Oh yeah, my mistake. You can't just use the Weapon for the Special, you also need all the Armour in order for the special to work. Thank you, qeltar, for clearing that up . - Honoured :.
  21. That is correct. You need to have the whole set, including the weapon, for the type of Barrow Armour to work. For example, the Verac Special. This can ignore the armour of your opponent and hit straight through. That is only possible if you have the weapon as well as the armour. Yeah, the effects of the special are at a random interval. So, you never know when the special will take effect. - Honoured :.
  22. What motivates me to skill, is to achieve each of the Non-Combat Achievement Capes. Of course, that's mainly everyones reason. Though, because I'm naturally a Skiller, I just have a passion for leveling high Non-Combat skills and this motivates me to do well, and rise high up into the Hiscores. But techincally, everyone would have a motive to skill in RuneScape, or they wouldn't play. After all, each skill is an actual skill whether it be Combat or Non-Combat based! - Honoured :.
  23. Seeing cases of Racism and/or Sexism in RuneScape is extremely rare. In fact, since I've been playing (8 months), I haven't seen any of the sort. However, I would assume some Female Players may get given free stuff, because some Males enjoy relationships over the internet, and will want to make sure the Female is in happiness by trading items to her. I know this for a fact, because my friend created a Character (Female) and asked for free stuff from a Male character, and he was happily willing to give it to my friend. But from a racism point of view, I'm very sure it's a rarity to see any case of it happening in RuneScape. Fortunately. - Honoured :.
  24. I would never buy an item from an Autoer/Macroer. Reason being, is that you can run the risk of being banned (Real World trading rule). It doesn't matter about the prices, because if the Autoers are selling items at such a low price, then other, legitimate players will have to match the price in order to get any customers. So, to sum up the question, no, I wouldn't buy from an Autoer/Macroer :notalk:. - Honoured :.
  25. Interesting theory, I must say :-k. However, I would imagine that Jagex chose the basic design of two diagonal crosses through the cape, then just mixed and matched to get a wide variety of colours to individualise the Wilderness capes. But.. who knows? Maybe there is a Scottish Jagex Staff, which would be nice :). - Honoured :.
