Milestone... of a sort

I won't mention player names, but a certain player today was the 21st one to reach all 99s, which means that the front page of the highscores is now full of level 2277 people.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The reason it's interesting is because until today, every person who achieved all 99s, were automatically front and center on the highscores, and every single player who went to the highscores for any reason *always* saw their names before being able to go anywhere else.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

From today, new 99s will have to compete for the front page, and existing 99s will be also forced to compete if they don't want to drop into relative obscurity by being pushed off the first page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course, this can change back if a new skill is introduced, because all 20 places will be up for grabs once again. But still, it is the first time for any skillset that the highscores front page was completely maxed.

If only the RSCers six years ago could see what's become of the highscores today, I'm sure they would be stunned to even think someone could acheive all 99's. I remember some RSC veterans mentioning it was amazing even to reach an 80 in a skill, but now look at the highscores. It's now a race to the most total experience, I suppose. Zezima might have a little competition coming up, that would be nice to see someone pass him again, maybe only for a few days.

I remember some RSC veterans mentioning it was amazing even to reach an 80 in a skill, but now look at the highscores. It's now a race to the most total experience, I suppose. Zezima might have a little competition coming up, that would be nice to see someone pass him again, maybe only for a few days.

if that were the case, how much do you think someone would have to pay for 200m construction? if you worked from 13m exp (around lvl99) to 200m exp thats 187m to go...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

apparently the most effixcient way of training is oak planks, giving 60exp and currently costing around 450gp each...

I obviously don't know his social or financial situation, but as far as I'm concerned, if you take a house, food, water and electricity from society, then you should be prepared to contribute something back to society. All the signs tell me Zezima doesn't, so I don't really have much time for him. Of course, that's purely speculative, but until someone provides me with evidence saying otherwise, I'll continue to hold that view.

Thats abit of an harsh opinion, to be honest "each to there own." If they enjoy playing runescape most of the day its up to them, there not physically hurting anyone apart from thereselves.

I second killmenub here... If the person pays for the services he uses(which everyone does, let's assume that none of the top RS'ers actually live illegally), then that's paying back to society. He is fulfilling his duty to the society by respecting it laws, and society benefits from him through taxes. Very few jobs directly benefit society anyway, if you hire me to mown your lawn or if I hire you to be my lawyer, there are no benefiters apart from the parties involved. And all we give "back" to society are our taxes...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now a little less serious. There are some jobs that would allow mindless days of scaping, on the job. What about a nightguard in a parking lot?
