Omg, sweet hairstyle! You look way older now. Hah. :P [hide=][/hide]
  2. Yes it's close, but I'd still go with the MacBook. Well, that's good to know. : I think the polycarbonate MacBook is the one I'm going with. But, I'm going to try both of them out in person before I buy. And, how would both integrated graphic cards compare to the one I have at the moment, which shares 128mb with the main memory?
  3. Since I can't afford the aluminum unibody Macs, I was looking at the polycarbonate one priced at $999. However, they also have the old MacBook Airs prices at $999. I'm kind of split between the two, because I've never really liked the plastic in notebooks, but it also has a better IGP and a faster processor. White Polycarbonate $999 MBA I'm not bias at this point, as in, I'm not making this post with my mind made up (if I'm even buying Mac). But, which of the two would you choose if you: Spent most time on campus, taking notes. Needed large mobility. Wanted something sturdy, something that's going to last 3-4 years. Wanted to hook up a 1080p monitor (or 1200 x 1050 if required, but I also have a 17 and a 19") Didn't need much in gaming, perhaps RSHD at very most? I've never taken a large HDD footprint. For example, my laptop at the moment (I've had it for 3 years) has 50GB/105GB free with Vista. Never used many USB ports, especially with a bluetooth mouse. I have a WiFi printer as well. Liked the multi gestures on the MBA. To give you slight things to go by, my current laptop: T5200 @ 1.60GHz each 2GB RAM Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family The IGP was my biggest concern when choosing the MBA, as it doesn't have the 9400M that the polycarbonate one has. How will my IGP compare to that of the Air? The polycarbonate?
  4. I don't play many games; I generally stick to good old RuneScape. I was able to browse the internet, but the game wouldn't load. I reinstalled the video drivers (after a long battle with HP's support site ;) ) so I'm hoping that fixed it. Thanks for your help guys! Computer manufacturer and graphics card? I ask because I had the exact problem. Eh, just saw the HP part, lol.
  5. If I am going to go with a Mac, I think I'll wait until Snow Leopard. The $999 MacBook is looking pretty good since they updated it to a faster FSB, more RAM, and an Nvidia 9400M. Thank you every one.

  8. If you're considering upgrading at all really, for major changes at least, it should be noted that buying a completely new system will be cheaper long term. Especially with DDR1 as Nadril stated. CNET says: Installed Size 256 MB / 1 GB (max) Technology DDR SDRAM Memory speed 333 MHz Are you sure you're getting 2GB?
  9. Funny, I don't recall that being a legit excuse when Bush was president. edit: i'm not making a dig at you, i'm just saying that the head of state *is* responsible for his country's doings. When he just jumped into office 3 days ago? That's a pretty bad sign for our nation if one of the first things our new president does is launch a missile. Why is it, at all, that everyone turns to the president when something goes wrong? We don't even know if it was the United States! No where in the article did it say anything about Obama launching a missile.
  10. Made me chuckle. I'm hating all the news threads though. Especially the ones involving violence. At least it was something different, thanks DL. :D
  11. Yes they would. Exactly. Like Warrior said, it's a baseless article without the facts. Words like "assume" and "suspected" are only used by the media when required, obviously. And when they go ahead and post stories like this, they just want people to read it because it's tragic, not because it's factually true.
  12. But it exhibits wave properties. I thought that it was just an infinitesimal object, more than 0 but too small to keep track of? It constantly travels at c, the speed of light meaning that it can have no mass during movement. Depending on your definition of the word "mass," it can theoretically have a mass.
  13. We've already gone over that. :? I see that you referred to "you," implying that it cannot kill someone that is already dead. However, we're not just talking about a singularity and so the paper could kill numerous people.
  14. Considering the fact that you said old, your computer can only handle 4GB, more specifically a little over 3GB. Yes, you can buy a video card to replace your integrated graphics card.
  15. Glad I'm not the only one!
  16. I totally forgot about Asus, and I have been pleased with their products and support in the past. I'll give them a look, thanks!
  17. Am I the only one jealous of the OP's metabolism? -.-
  18. Well, that's where our technology lies at the moment - with neutrons and larger particles. I don't quite understand the universe portion. It has mass, and anything such as can be dividable. You would just need a comparing force equal to or greater than the original force of the neutrino.

Is it possible for any other living thing to breathe with the help of FeO3 or CUO2 to help your breathe oxygen?(such as AG02 OR Si02)? fix'd lol :^o I don't think that's what he was asking. :?

You look younger. :-k Is it the glasses or the lack of facial hair? I think it's your hair, not facial though. I don't know, I can't put my finger on it. Heh.
  21. I was saying that splitting the particle would, though. Physically, that's impossible.
  22. I bought a quad core. I don't need your pricing because I already said that I don't care about the price, I care about the support.
  23. Don't assume that I don't want to build a computer because I'm scared or don't know how to < Then do it. I'm using this computer for school < And its gonna be $500 cheaper for a low end School PC. I want it to work right out of the box, and if it doesn't, I want someone to back me up < IDK where in the USA and the big CIA, but I've heard of a shop called Best buy or W/E, take your Parts there and say 'BUILD PLOX I HERD ITS $100 ON DA INTERNET'. If it don't work they screwed it up, or you put an AMD CPU on a Intel MoBo. I'll show you the parts to buy if you want, can I ATLEAST get a please out of it? Sure, they're cheaper, $500? Yeah, right. Maybe $200. I don't want to build one because I only receive help from those willing to help, not those responsible. I know how to and what parts to buy should I need to.
  24. You have no idea what it is like being a boy, especially from age 13 to 16ish. You get random hard-ons. You can be looking at a tree and BAM! You always have a "burden" to carry around. God does it suck. Meh, put a metal sheet in your pants or something. :P ARE YOU FREAKING INSANE!!!!!! dude, thats not protection..the vibration caused by impact would surely kill your manhood ...Vibration...Impact...? Um. :?
