It would look nice, but that's about it. It wouldn't really be functional. Maybe they could change the seasons during holiday events? You know, winter during Christmas (like that one year on Karajama, except world wide. And not as annoying), Spring during easter, Summer would be just as it is now since there is no event, and Fall during Halloween.

But there are a lot less now than there used to be. For example, I can't find any of those little pentagram wall decorations anymore, but then again I haven't really been looking. But does it really matter? I don't care that there are little pagan thinggys every now and then. It's just a game after all and I personally don't see why anyone would take it seriously. It's really not a big deal.

I don't care how old someone is as long as they act mature. Unfortunately that is about 15% of the Runescape population and most of the immature players are 13+. You can tell how old somebody is based on spelling and attitude. I find that the worst people are in fact 13 and have a distinct anti-authority attitude. In my experience younger players spell slightly better than 13 year olds as they have not picked up on the internet shorthand epidemic. They also still respect authority and tend to follow the rules to the letter out of fear. People 15+ can either be the best or the worst of players. Some spell like developmentally delayed armadillos and act like total asshats. Others spell correctly and have a more collected attitude. Either way the immature greatly outnumber the mature regardless of age.

So true. At the time pretty much EVERYBODY was all for it. But politicians are politicians and they flip-flopped like none other. And then there are the "I hate Bush but I voted for him....twice" hypocrites. People seemed to have forgotten what a war was and didn't like that people were dieing, even if it is a relatively low number. War is war. People die. It sucks, but it happens. Anyway I'm going to have to agree with you and the "you break it you buy it" philosophy. It's too late to turn back now. Giving up at this point will only result in Iran invading and killing more people; and then the cycle repeats. The only right thing to do is complete what we set out to do so all of those people didn't die in vain.

What............. the............. bleep?................ I'm open to the idea, but I think it will be difficult given that the #1 said word in the game is "noob". They need to find a way to strain out the little kids/people who act like little kids. Now THAT would be a good update, even if impossible.

Its a successfull game that has had a long lifespan. games like Tom Clancys i play for a month then get bored so yeah.. i dont really go back to them sure they have more hype but i come back to rs. I think you misinterpreted what I said. You see, you and I obviously like the game because we play it. But somebody that has no knowledge of it will probably look at it, go "meh" and move on whereas if they see a fancy new game with up-to-date graphics and fast paced gameplay they will go "awesome!". Runescape has always been criticized for bad graphics (not so much anymore) and for grind heavy gameplay. And they are right, the graphics [were] are mediocre and all you do gameplay wise is point and click. Runescape might be fairly successful, but it will always remain in the shadow of more mainstream games made by well know companies.

I play it because it's not very demanding. It's one of those games where you can still get somewhere even if you are half asleep because all you do is point and click. I find it relaxing so I play it when I'm resting up for something or when I bored of something else. Edit: Oh and because of all the updates there is always something new to do.

And since they are working on another skill right now that makes the number of skills 25 in the near future. And there will probably be more skills after that making it 25+. It doesn't mean there are 2 new skills coming out soon.

The Sudan and Chechnya don't have WBM's (but neither did Iraq as it turns out), and you would be surprised how little oil we get from Iraq.
