Let them continue believing "The end is nigh!". If there's money to be made, it will continue to develop. It's still hugely popular, despite the opinions of a vocal minority. And that's not going to change any time soon.

This game will always yield profit. They're not going to ditch it when there's still money to be made.

For the next 10 years, if I remember rightly. And they'll still be working on it, even then. But will have other games. (Transformers, Stellar Dawn...)

You make it sound like this is such a big deal, and that it's going to chang everything. When, in actual fact, it's meaningless. Sure, no problem if people don't want to vote for RuneScape, jus' cause. But creating scripts and clients to vote against it? Childsplay.

What irony? You act like the majority of people playing Runescape are voting for Jagex this year. Have you, like, not been reading this thread or the thread on the RSOF (if it's still there)? Granted, they're only a small sample size, but I'd be willing to bet that it's a pretty good gauge of public sentiment. LoL winning would be more about people being disastisfied with Jagex than LoL being that good. (Btw> I voted for LoL's, and haven't ever played that game.) The irony is that Riotgames decided to use jagex's move to get votes, and win using it. I'm not acting like people are voting for jagex, in fact, if you look at the comments on rs portal at golden joystick site you'll see most are negative comments xD. And LoL winning would be about their own community actually getting to know about the award. Also, this is the infamous message someone sent to riotgames. Source prefers to remain anonymous for obvious reasons. "Petty" and "Childish" come to mind. Not to mention a laugh at the "We, the few legit players left." When are these little games going to end?

One really visible action is the fact there's very few RWT-advertising bots about. I think that's a huge step in itself.

I guess there's no real reason for a long, alphanumerical password if people can't do anything, at all, by accessing it. I presume a six-character password is just for ease of use, but they would use better protection on their own personal accounts.

I don't remember at any stage anyone talking about RuneScape outside of RuneScape. It's kept on the DL. People may play it, but they won't talk about it. So you have to consider that. I play, but I don't tell any of my friends I play online games other than stuff on the Ps3.

Began watching Homeland last night, shame it was only released two days ago, though... What I've been watching over the past few months. Hawaii 5-0 The Chicago Code The Glades Criminal Minds I've Rookie Blue still to watch. Watched the new series of Whale Wars also. Desperate Housewives I watch South Park if it's on, but not often.

Because gathering resources in the citadels sucks and there are a number of people that would rather do anything than that? No pain, no gain. They shouldn't be a free ride, no matter what. Your getting an opportunity to skill with friends in your clan, getting free XP, to boot. Hard work and dedication pays off.

Broken tools? Not at all. Use them and your work will see a result, at one point or another. You are only speeding up the inevitable, probably putting that account on their radar. Oh, so we can all blindly assume people aren't botting so we're abiding by our own moral code. But that in itself is a foolish thing to think; we know people do, and reporting people who genuinely aren't isn't going to get them banned, or anything of the sort. I can see what you're trying to say, though. You really don't care, but wish to argue anyway. :thumbup: You can choose to ignore the problem, pretend it's not there, not report people for your own benefit...That's all perfectly fine. Whatever floats your boat. You can bring a horse to the water, but you can't make it drink.

Moral codes are irrelevant when it comes to a game that has rules, or anywhere that has rules. You abide by them, and are given the tools to ensure others do, too. You don't just jump to the conclusion "Oh, maybe cheating's part of who he is. I can't question that!". You can, are provided with the resources to help tackle it, all with the anonymity of them not knowing it was you.

I'm still playing MAG, a lot of people that play with me and my clan only did a few runs of BF3 and quickly returned to MAG. I'll probably purchase it when it comes out, only for the campaign. Not interested in the multiplayer, when MAG is still far superiour than any other Ps3 title out there.

Yes but they also say runefester goers get an exclusive EARLY preview of dominion tower. It can't be an early preview if the update is in-game before runefest; which leaves monday the 31st of october (or 1st of nov i guess) They say full-access, perhaps when released not everything will be available to everybody?

I've no problem with them, it's really not an issue where I live.

I think that's seriously over doing the 'pride' thing. As far as I'm aware, there's no punishment over here for anything of the sort. It's stated that it should never be defaced, but they are just guidelines.

My clan's been keeping on top of our resources, I think we get Tier 5 next Tuesday now. It's enjoyable, really, because you're doing it with people you know. It will be nice to be able to enjoy the finished Citadel and see that it was a group effort. I have money, plenty of it, but there's no fun when you can just buy everything.
