Not really true, Before update I tested Z spear at irons. Killed in a few hits, I believe average was around 5-6. I only managed to kill a few, as I only brought 4 monks, but very fast kills.

Barrows and GWD are both no random zone. I believe that there are a few others, but I've forgotten them.

I only started using a cannon recently. I need range xp, and I would rather cannon then chin, so I cannon. I got like 86-87 slayer before I started though. If strapped for cash, don't cannon.

Before this update, it was best to use a whip against green, blue, and red dragons. You could have use z spear against blacks if you wanted to tank with antifires+mage prayer. Irons were still better with whip than LBS, but steels were close; I dont know which was better then. Now Z spear is better on all metals, but I am not sure if a GS is better or not for blacks, although I would imagine not.

Never really was "that" big of an advantage. Tradable pots, but need high herb to use? 90 herb to use overload? Just an idea.

All the time. I go at least 2 times a week to some boss, whether TDS, or lately LS bandos with 2-3 people in SODB. Getting that duo ls'ed hilt was pretty win.

You should never, EVER use a tort at chinning. Banking takes under 5 minutes, and you can recharge prayer. You also save the cost of the 2 tort pouches, and can use a hydra right from the get-go. Nice drop though. My last 3 tasks I got a "rare" drop, but no whip. 2 were D med, right in a row, then 3rd task I got d stone.

Yeah...It's called a speed boost. I use super pots almost always, when I stockpile extreme pots I'll prolly use them for slayer etc as well. Now if you're saying at god wars guess you have a point, space tends to be at a premium but might end up taking extreme attack instead of combat pots now. I could see the extreme pots making a difference at corp more so then most other bosses. It's mostly only good at Bandos when crashing, like what I meant with most bosses you need more hp boosting potions/items. Not for high level teams. Even at saradomin, I use absolutely no supplies unless I am afk and get hit. Otherwise, pony and sgs heal me and keep prayer high enough so that I can just use altar for prayer, and that is with piety. Mainly I see this helping smaller teams do bosses, maybe with 1 less person. Otherwise, that and a slight slayer speed boost, this update was basically nullified. Fail Jagex, Fail.

Give them things which only P2P can make, so we can make money off things like fletching yew shorts for f2p. Personally, I would love for all armored boots up to rune be given to F2P. It would make nech tasks decent again, as I believe the price would land around 150k-200k for a pair.

Actually, slayer is a good mix. Unless you absolutely train the most efficiently in all combat skills, slayer is better. Also, take luck into consideration. I would never, or very rarely kill irons without slayer. One day I may get a visage. Luck is there, true, but so it is in most Monster Hunting in RS.

Eucs are always better than yews, and are far less crowded, not to mention that there are more of them. Willows and maples are no-nos, ever. Teaks and Eucs are the only things you should cut for a good xp/gp/hour ratio. Magics are from what I have heard the best gp but one of the worst gp.

I don't understand the significance? Does this have anything to do with the rumors that Dragons are weak to stab or slash, can't remember which. I believe that normal, hide dragons are weak to stab, and metal dragons are weak to crush. Nope. All dragons are weak to stab. That is why the leaf bladed sword far outpreforms whip at miths. This is actually the reason that I'm still playing to be honest, life is a journey and not just a reward. Usually when I play FPS games there is a certain base love of shooting people in the face, but it gets boring after a while because there is nothing to strive for. After a while I feel like I'm wasting my time and stop, but with runescape I know that there will be more updates: quests, minigames, and bosses to beat, meaning that my training will have payoff in the future. I can certainly see where you are coming from though... Thats why I play COD4 as a break from RS. I go for the achivements.

Since most of the time it takes around an hour to a targ, not 30 mins, and you will probably lose some targ fights and lose items, probably an average of 1m an hour.

In all honesty, don't buy a GS, and then panic of the price changes. I flip my SGS all the time, but if it were to go down to 50 million, I would be fine with it. I am guessing it will go down to around 68m before it rebounds. It has been abnormally high lately, and I doubt the market will hold it at that price for much longer. The major crash may even have begun, although I rather doubt it.

Instead, when the drop rate is approximately 1-200, we can go 500+ kills and get it. I am not saying guaranteed after 200 kills, but rather more likely to get as you kill more. EG, after you kill 100 TDS your drop rate is 1-150, instead of 1-200 or w/e. Never 1-50, or even 1-100, but still either a better chance of that drop, or something to that effect. It could either reset when you get that rare drop, or have the chance to get that item go up a lot less, but stay constant, even when you get that drop. For sake simply of argument let us say the drop rate of a whip is currently 1-500. For example, this would make it so people who kill 2k abbies without a whip would have a 1-300 chance of whip after 2k kills, but once they get a whip they go back to 1-500. If the second idea I mention was implemented, after 2k kills dry their rate is 1-400, but after the slayer gets a whip, the drop rate stays at 1-400. With either system, with each block of monsters killed without its rare drop, or one of that drop, (and I mean good rare drops, silver ore or d stone at abbies doesn't count), you would either get that item, or have your chance go up. This amount could change. It could be 200 abby demons, or 50 TDS. Thus even if your having bad luck, you are not really "dry" since your chance is going up.

People still get 70 prayer for Piety. Most, by buying. People will, indeed still get 70 for Piety, I'm sure. But if another prayer comes out, and it increases Def by 30%, Strength by 27% and Attack by 25%, will it revolutionise the Runescape we all know and love? Will it even impact combat in any way? This is what I fail to see from any such update along these lines. 1. I doubt anyone is as stupid as to suggest another prayer so similar to piety, and so little better than it. As such, you can fairly safely say any prayer will be better than what you stated. As such also, it will increase the ability of teams to either last longer, or use smaller groups at bosses, it will make it easier to solo bosses, and it will give those people in PvP who get prayer levels above 43, 70, etc an advantage for their prayer levels. Since you aren't ranked, you do not really understand the implications that a new prayer will have, even on such a thing as being required to have that prayer to join certain teams. (Many GWD teams require you to have 70 prayer, for example, not only to bless, but also for the kills.
