  1. They tried to make the network manager better and failed i na way. You have to manually set static IP's and get rid of the Gnome Network Manager not a big deal to me but it would bother a lot of people.
  2. hrmmm, that's a good point no idea Then why would you post?
  3. Possibly try OOCT and see if it runs stable while over clocking?
  4. Might jsut have to keep it at a lower clock speed. :/
  5. Possibly your router is not secure or someone has gotten in and is tapering? Your ethernet port is obviously for an ethernet cord aka cat5(Category 5). The driver for that in windows is what runs that piece of hardware in Windows XP so that the OS will work with the hardware. So yes the controller could have something to do with it. What does having a pirated copy of windows have to do with this? Sure it could have gotten tapered with but you know that it is against the rules here to discuss of that. I don't know where you brought it up to make people think your the cool guy with a pirated copy or what but people seem to do stuff like that here on TIF. It think it would be your best bet not to bring that up and not bring it up in the future in other post.
  6. Did you let your BSOD make a dump file? If so or you don't know try looking in C:\Windows\Minidump and see if there are and DMP files in there close to that date this happened. Here is a guide you an use to help you use Windows Debugger to view the dump file. If it BSOD's again i would try to catch at least the first stop binary and google it. Also are you sure this is from over heating. It sounds like it could be but it could also be other things? You don't have you computer in a closed cabinet or structure do you?

Sounds like a driver problem. Try uninstalling your current driver and then reinstall it.
  8. Just put the key part its self back to gather and pop it on it isn't that hard. Happens to me a few times.
  9. Good point. On top of that you can use the boot menu to just choose what HDD to boot from.
  10. Yes you will jsut have to install a bootloader.
  11. Recovery partitions are sometimes there if you buy a prebuilt pc and stroage partitions. I will stop here don't want to confuse the originial poster.

Same outcome, different method. It doesn't have to be a database, but that's what I would do. Not only do many e-mail providers cap the amount of e-mails that can be sent and recieved, but it's easier to use a database because you can store username, old password, new password, and new pin, and maybe items gained as an ego boost. E-mail wouldn't be too practical for all of this, especially if you got a hold of many accounts and needed to keep track of them all. There are many ways to do this, I was just stating what I thought would be used. I don't actually know what the hacker(s) used, because I didn't take part in this...I have no interest in RuneScape anymore, I play WoW and Frets on Fire. Trade bans and membership running out came about at the same time, and I didn't want to renew it, and don't regret the decision. I said a file too any how. I ways just being a pain in the [wagon] and trying to show you that a database is the only way to do it. Good job on quiting!
  13. No your morely selecting a partition to boot from.
  14. A bootloader is what you need. A bootloader is like its name says it is a menu that loads first. It will allow you to select though partitions on your hard drives to boot.
  15. Opps try your vista disc then i saw xp skimming the original post and saw xp. Sorry about that one.
  16. Try repairing/replacing it with your xp cd?

It's not a keylogger. They have the output of the textboxes box sent to a database on the server of the scam site. Then, they read the data from that database at a later time and get the account info. No keylogging needed, it's just a standard verification routine (without the verifying, since everyone has a valid account according to their scripting, if that makes sense). It's quite easy to do actually, it's getting the look that's the hard part about scams like this. Go perform a recovery, and make sure the link you are visiting is what it seems next time. Get WoT (Web of Trust) for FireFox, and/or McAfee SiteAdvisor (FF or IE). If you are in doubt, go to whee the link was mentioned, and copy it into the address bar manually. Sure, it takes a few seconds longer, but it's a sure way to stop redirect scams. How do you know it is being saved in a database and not a file or being emailed? :P
  18. Seconded. Excellent piece of software. Thirded.
  19. Well my brain does MD5 natively :D Nice. :P
  20. Are you planning on running this on the web?
  21. You HAVE the Tip.It MicroHelper? Damn... That's what's been [bleep]ing you up this whole time! That stupid thing has SERIOUS issues versus Java!!! :wall: I got five words for you as to how to handle it: UNINSTALL THE [bLEEP]ING TIP.IT MICROHELPER!!! :x Put simply, anything that blows up Java while you're doing something you want to do, is something that doesn't belong on your PC... Getting rid of it is your only recourse... In this case, the Tip.It Microhelper is the problem, so it must die... :ugeek: ....... BTW, if you want to see what I mean before you totally delete the thing, disable it first and try things out without it in the way. (Unless the Tip.It Microhelper is coded as bad as another add-on that I know, then disabling it should shut that add-on down completely.) Also, I recommend keeping Tip.It's Website handy in a seperate window from now on, because I know Errdoth hasn't worked out all the bugs in his bloody add-on. Until he does, I seriously recommend that you do not use it. -.- This is a semi-easy fix, and since you already know how to add filters, this will be a snap. Add every line in the hidden section below into ABP's listing... [hide=ABP Filter Listing, Click to view...]advert.runescape.com*banner.ws?size=301 advert.runescape.com*banner.ws?size=728 advert.runescape.com*banner.ws?size=729 advert.runescape.com*banner.ws?size=730 advert.runescape.com*banner.ws?size=734 advert.runescape.com*banner.ws?size=735 advert.runescape.com*banner.ws?size=738 runescape.com#div(class*=adframe) runescape.com#span(id*=vbUrl) runescape.com#div(id*=tb) advert.funorb.com funorb.com#iframe(id*=ad)[/hide] ... and remove other references to RuneScape/FunOrb only if you did not just add them from this listing. (If you had no references to RuneScape/FunOrb before, then you have nothing to remove.) Once all of that is done, never again shall you have anything slowing down RuneScape/FunOrb... : ~Mr. D. V. "The Problem Killer" Devnull D_V_Denvull, you know i have been trying not to flame you and leave you alone and personally i feel that i have been doing a good job of that. When you sit here and go off on my friend that he is a bad coder then i have problems with you. I seriously doubt you could do any better than what he did. In fact i would be surprised to see if you even code and if you do it is pry a slop of [cabbage]. Also do you have to freak out over nothing because i can tell you several thousand people have pry downloaded the addon and i have only seen this issue. Have you personally ever made a Firefox addon or worked with them? The Microhelper is just an xul overlay with javascript. If you don't know that i can't help you anymore. To be honest with you i am really tired of your [cabbage] and how you always over react to everything and make it the worst situation. I think it is best your shut your [bleep]ing mouth(quit typing [cabbage]) before you get even more hatred from every one in this community.
  22. Breaks easier? What do you base that on? I don't think you've owned enough cpu's to see a pattern to be honest. Both Intel and AMD chips can break, it's nothing new... I've never seen a news/review or anything that supports your claim. *off topic*... I really look forward to Bulldozer, i really hope it will perform good... And if it does, it's going into a new system for me. I will agree with you there. I don't hate or not like amd i just would rather have intel but i don't see how an amd breaks easier to be honest.
  23. Try diasbling your addons?
  24. That is what i hear and i also hear it is slow that way. I can understand why too having to go though USB. It is just better to buy more memory.
