Sounds like a great idea IMO.. It has almost zero possibility of abuse, because you would really have to prove you are 18 for example (by sending a nominal $1 wire transfer to Jagex's bank account and the name matches the one in your RS details), and a parent would probably ask questions if their kid was begging them to be "let on a 16/18+ world".

Sounds strongly like a bought account, and I've encountered plenty in other games. If you reported him for macroing they could probably find other suspicious links too, like a person thousands of miles away from the normal login location suddenly starting to frequent the account in a short timeframe (that wouldn't be possible even via air travel).

My bro has "HTC Touch Diamond" [hide=][/hide] It's not bad for a phone, supports 7.2mb internet connections, has inbuilt GPS, 3.2mpix camera and a keyboard/touchscreen, plus it plays music and movies. You can even play some online java/flash games with it, though I'd imagine playing RS to be a bit awkward with a stylus pen. Though I only have tested it in a store, I find the BlackBerry Storm to be quite good too, but it's overrepresented on the forums. Maybe it's because they're currently having a big ad campaign in the US and people are impressionable. I still question why people, especially younger ones, actually *need* a smartphone more designed towards businessmen, like the Blackberry. As long as you have the money, guess that's not a problem.. But still

Yep, once the analog broadcasts stop, you pretty much *have* to buy a digital signal converter, or "box". If you still want to watch TV, that is. Some countries already have switched to digital-only so you're not alone. Another great option to bypass the need to buy an expensive box is buying a converter that makes TV available on your computer or laptop via the USB port: http://www.tvstickshop.com/products/pro ... &prodid=15 Downside is some people don't like watching TV on a computer screen. It's way cheaper though, around $30-$40 bucks. I'd personally get both despite not watching much television, just in case something interesting is on

Good topic but sorry, rules apply, post here viewtopic.php?f=10&t=561170 She wont be 'running the country' in the future though.. This video sort of works against her in every possible way. Who will employ her or take her in a college once she's 18, god forbid vote for her, when they find out about this? Your past behavior does matter

Dragon Plate, price is dropping like a rock.
BlueLancer replied to joker2022's topic in General Discussion
This is pure price manipulation by attempted panic. The price will fall and rise according to demand and supply, and over time the price will even itself out to a certain range either way. Panic aside, people on page 1 provided all the reasons already why the price is dropping from the peak -
Sorry for that, he is in no way a scammer. The automatic censor messed up; due to scammers, a lot of words had to be added there. Post in video games

Your opinion on violence and killing in video games?

Ah, right I get it. Misunderstood it, you're right in saying the NDS really doesn't have a big FPS market... Nintendo does have other significant FPS franchises and earlier games that even outsold it's most other games though (Goldeneye 007 alone was one of the most sold Nintendo games and that was for the N64, not even counting Perfect Dark etc.) Nintendo especially as a home console maker definitely needs the FPS market though. It will likely just grow with the Wiimote that allows for smoother playing. Brothers in Arms: D-Day Call of Duty 5: World at War Far Cry: Vengeance Medal of Honor Vanguard Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Just some Wii games that will definitely sell good -
If you have severe behavioral defects that affect you physically, your choices are no longer fully conscious over what you say, think or do.. Take schizophrenia for example Clinical depression is just as bad and alters your behavior & actions There is no logical basis to blame a person for his actions when he has next to no control over himself. Courts of law have acknowledged the medical perspective for over a century, in a lot of cases mentally sick convicts are passed on for treatment, not incarceration which just further shuts them down. Bullying is an entirely different subject. It is an absolutely conscious choice if you have no mental disability. It's a stronger person selecting to abuse a weaker one, which just shows the disgusting personality of the abuser. Countless people who were beaten as a kid or had rough childhoods never become bullies; That's a choice. If the person enjoys bullying intentionally, let's just say he's "sick" in other ways.

Because for a lot of the British empires earlier wealth they basically raped and pillaged countries such as India, it's not that they think were to free, we just gained the majority of earlier wealth by colonizing countries and taking their natural resources meaning they never had the money nor technology to fully develop. A small extremist terrorist cell isn't the opinion of the entire country, such as the terrorists thinking were to free, India relies on Western countries to help develop it's economy and improve it's country's wellbeing, not every citizen thinks the same as the extremist terrorists. They're killing civilians for something that happened hundreds of years ago and noone involved had anything to do with? There's terrorist logic for you. http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/ ... L120081106 I realize you probably are relatively young and haven't followed politics for long, still, there's terrorist retaliation logic for you. And I don't support terrorists in any way. But this happens almost every day. It has happened for a very long time. I can give you over 30 similar incidents from just a few month timespan in multiple countries where the US causes giant civilian casualties. Do you expect them to just sit back and watch their families get killed? Really, I challenge you to think. If your entire family died in a US airstrike to kill a 'suspected' terrorist leader, what would you do, just go on about your life and job normally? Your entire life just got destroyed by the army of a single nation illegally assaulting your country. You would hate that country so deeply you would have nothing to lose by going on a suicide mission to bring down as many of them as possible. Nothing is as simple as "they hate our freedom". It has totally zero to do with "freedom". Do you think someone is willing to sacrifice their own life to fight 'freedom'? It's a cold fact that the USA kills masses of innocent civilians, women and children all around the world in it's paranoid manhunt for 'terrorists'. It causes unimaginable resentment and hatred which occassionally turns into terrorist movements and planning to retaliate against western civilians.

[moved to graveyard help] Well fortunately for him, without revealing further, some tip.it mods/admins have looked into this and officially according to Jagex it's not bug abuse, because the system can detect if you're just letting someone kill you or fight people way below your level, & it modifies the drop worth lower accordingly.

I more or less screwed up in school, the GPA equivalent would be around 2.5 or less. I simply wasn't interested in most subjects. I got into a business college based on a lengthy admission test though (that everyone had to pass in order to be accepted, with about 25% acceptance rate) and finished with a MBA degree. If they just admitted students based on high school diplomas I probably wouldn't've even gotten a further degree due to being inadmissible.

Damn right! I go to GAME, and whilst staring at Imagine: Babies, Pokémon Diamond, and Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima, I wonder: "Where would the NDS be without all these violent FPS?" :-k See, you're more of a casual gamer. You prefer fun and "different" games, like adventuring in Pokemon or testing you mind with puzzles. This is Nintendo's signature style of game. Unless that was a joke you entirely missed his point. He didn't imply he plays those games, the point is (besides maybe Pokemon, which *is* a succesful franchise) that the DS console would be almost entirely geared towards small kids if it wasn't for the FPS games. Those lesser known 'cute' game series aren't enough to sustain Nintendo's business. -
Your stance and belief on the Paranormal/Psychics/ECT
BlueLancer replied to NoMoreDead's topic in Off-Topic
I am not sure how other Christians are, but I would believe in Catholic/Jewish faith healings but not, for example, healing for buddists, muslims and other religions that aren't pretty much a branch of Christian/Catholic/Jewish religion. If something happens for a different religion I will put it down as the work of Satan.Interesting I did wonder how that would be perceived, anyone else? Looked like sarcasm to me. I doubt even the head of Westboro church has the balls to tell a suddenly healed (for one reason or another) buddhist/muslim/hindu man or woman that it was because "Satan did it". -
http://www.vinyltap.co.uk/ 8-) Over 100k vinyl recordings in stock.. Has known ones like Johnny Cash etc., and a ton of artists who are relatively unknown

Since I have citizenship in Finland I got the conscription letter at age 17 and served a compulsory 6 months at 18 years old. I applied for coast guard duty, but that was unavailable in the brigade I was sent to & was enrolled as a sniper. It's somewhat easy, after about 2 months of basic weapons and tactics training, they select the people who want higher ranks and to serve up to 12 months to recieve officer ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant or Captain. I was eventually asked but declined fast.. I just wanted to finish it fast and held the equivalent non-commissioned rank of Sergeant First Class. I'd suggest you go through with it, not only do you gain experience and grow as a person, they will definitely employ and feed you should the need arise later. A few years after, I got a UN peacekeepers job in Kosovo after completing a 20-week course, and at the time, not only was it interesting & I knew one of the local languages spoken, but due to a relative level of risk, the pay was phenomenal (dollar equivalent of about $4000/month tax free) for a six-month tour, 100% free health benefits/food/upkeep/additional training. In Finland they have that system. When you're in the enlistment event a few months prior to serving, you're given a paper form on which you can opt-out of 6 months of military service, and do community service for 12 months. Since I have no experience, I wouldn't know what it entails, but I'd guess it involves taking care of old people, labour, charity work, etc. like you mentioned. To be honest, I never had any use for the brief sniper training I recieved. UN, at least in Kosovo, practically offers no jobs to them, as it's a defensive role & scouting is done by satellite images mostly sent by americans. You just stand on guard duty with a rifle for 12 hours a day, it's not that glorious at all. NATO has very high pay 6-12 month tours for Afghanistan, Congo, etc. for anti-terrorist operations.. For all kinds of personnel including snipers. But the risk of death is very real and you will need to pass much more rigorous training. I didn't even contemplate that option though, nor was it able because my country didn't offer that possibility (due to not being a member of NATO) Also, video games may give you the wrong idea, but the main function of a sniper is gathering intelligence and send it to headquarters with a radio phone or requesting aerial support vehicles. Sounds boring if you put it that way, and it is. Your main function wont be shooting down 'terrorists'. You can go for days or weeks without nothing significant happening around you, and you just have to sit there & change turns with another guy.

No politics article will ever make you laugh as much
BlueLancer replied to megakiller32's topic in Off-Topic
Heh, the internet is full of people who are wrong. Just google "Obama will lose" or "mccain will win" and read all the angry, hilarious 'lists of reasons' which aren't made with the slightest hint of humor. The guy in that article does go a bit over the top, maybe it's a bit funny but not even nearly the funniest politics article ever. The average Joe wouldn't even know what the hell he's rambling on about. -

In Aus it is rated M, infact games and movies are more strictly rated, with quiet a few games having to be altered for Aussie viewing. Halo's rated M everywhere, dude. Nah [hide=][/hide] it's 16/T in Europe :P I got the european version as a present years ago, I dug up the CD cover just now to make sure. Never installed it though, lol. Impressive. Most impressive. What'sthe list of offenses on the back? Blood/gore, violence, and language? Only a clenched fist image (violence). Guess Europeans don't like rating a game for adults only unless it has really bad or violent stuff like some GTA games. -
Like said, it's a bit of an obstacle that you *have* to pay for this game when much better games are out there as shareware and freeware. It's also probably not popular enough to even have torrents for it, so it likely has a low player base around here. I'd imagine it to be a very good investment for schools/etc... Though. I dl'ed the the demo which is a bit sketchy and has only 1 nation to begin with, but it's interesting and shows you how in the real world & politics, everything is interconnected... Poverty, crime, education, corruption, welfare, etc.

Hehe, so many ways to lose. Sorry guys.

I want.. Nothing  But I'll be giving out plenty. I don't like lame, typical gifts like socks or cheap chocolate bars. So I try to customize presents I give according to the individual reciever even if it costs a few hundred bucks or *gasp* more. One cool gift I came across and bought last year was an aquamarine hourglass table statue, about 6 inches in size. It's not this exact one but very close. The silver sand runs down through the crystals for a nice effect. [hide=][/hide] Of course, some people just plain out prefer video games, movies, gift cards, older folk might like quality cognacs & whiskey etc. The key is trying to understand the personality of the girl/guy/person you give a present to. And hey, if they don't truly like it, the thought still counts.

It's ridiculously easy for intelligence agencies to find out the movements and whereabouts of weaponized plutonium, uranium sales, etc... Even if criminals and strict hierarchies are involved. There are people literally living off of tipping agencies about big deals or caches of arms to support their poor families (even $10,000 is a fortune in most impoverished countries). The only reason why you can't just "locate" people who may for example be loyal to Osama bin Laden despite a $25m reward (which is solely designed to turn his own people into informants) is because they don't trust americans and western governments. Low ranking members of his organisation see it as just another plot, that they will never pay the money if they turn on him. Plus as you likely know, organisations like al-Qaeda don't really have an actual "organisation". They work through separated cells who are excluded from communication with each other. The cell masters merely recieve ideological and financial support from the 'higher ups' like Ayman al-Zawahiri and bin Laden. They don't take direct orders or necessarily even cooperate.

The attackers were almost kids/teens by age and were armed with AK's, hand grenades & ammunition. Not sure if that was a joke, but given not even the worst criminals or terrorist organisations in the world have had access to nuclear weapons, that's not even remotely possible despite how coordinated they were.
