It's generally accepted few people can "push" their IQ past 5-10 points their original since taking it for the first time at 15+ years old (easier before that age, harder after) If your natural IQ is 105 for example, you're never going to be able to push it to 160 or higher. It's simply impossible. You might achieve 110-115 if you're a very hard worker and smart. Teaching someone how to make their brain function can't be done. You can improve on vocabulary, mathematics, but you can't affect the amount of nerves in your head, core ability to solve problems, etc... There's very little if anything you can do to fight genetics. For example I got 117 on a real life IQ test.. I would practically never be able to push it to 130 unless I dedicated my entire life to it. Like someone said though, IQ, it's just a number. Someone with 90 IQ could be smarter than someone with 120. It's just a general guideline.
-
That would be nearly impossible to meet, 160+ can't be trained for and is nearly without exception genetical abnormally high intelligence, about 0.02-0.05% of the population have 160 or over.. Mensa requires 132 but these days they will also accept other kind of test results than IQ, here's a list.

Well it's not impossible that a zezima123550 with referral links to a clickwar in his sig could actually have near-mensa level IQ, just pretty unlikely. Scores of over 140 represent 0.10%-0.25% of any given western country's population depending on the source... It could also be a fake or unrealistic test (online tests shouldn't even be referenced) The average score is about 100 in western countries, 105 in asian countries, 95 in african countries etc.. I absolutely detest this kind of person. Not just online, but in real life. It's the personality type that would've probably even reported any nearby jews to the local nazi administration if he were alive in the 1930's. I was a player mod back when they were reintroduced, there were maybe 20-30... But it wasn't a "snitching community". I mostly got there by helping people on the forums and reporting the occassional obvious scammer, etc.. Wouldn't even want to be a p-mod now, sadly now all it represents is "I'm willing to snitch normal players so I can attain status myself". That's just ridiculous. Absolutely nobody gets hurt by you simply stating the fact you're going out for a smoke, it must be a really sad person trying to score some jagex-points with those kind of reports.. Who's the real victim in that situation? Certainly not the other chatters.. It's called Report Abuse, wish people would respect the name of the feature..

I'd say you met some inconsiderate whiteys then (even if they were nice otherwise). At least I was brought up by my parents to always take off shoes when you enter another person's house, and it always made sense. It's really rude NOT to.. Unless you're just for a 20 second quick visit to pick up a parcel or something, that wouldn't make sense.

Obesity isn't just a 'personal issue' though, it's life threatening especially if your kid already has it at under age 10. So by allowing the kid to continue his/her unhealthy habits, they're being bad parents. I somewhat agree with taking away the worst cases temporarily so they can have a healthy life later on.

And now for something completely different... Monty Python
BlueLancer replied to Cyco_Reborn's topic in Off-Topic
Monty Python & the Holy Grail is a pretty funny and absurd movie. Not that the humor makes much sense at times, but that's the point. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjEcj8KpuJw Typical brit humor after 2:30 when the king of England kicks the black knights butt by chopping all his limbs off. -
I might be wrong since I last actively played those games like 10 years ago... But aren't pretty much a lot of those moves like shockwave quite crappy  (Not as an insult, but just wondering)

Motorhead just recently released a totally new album, and Lemmy is already friggin' 60 years old. Younger bands should learn from his energy.. If an old chap like this can still make good sounding hard rock/metal in his sixties, what the heck is the problem with guys who are 20-30 and after a few albums and breakups, 'metal' becomes 'soft pop' and sales/reviews turn to total crap because people literally "aren't buying" it..

Strictly speaking no "if" topics allowed because people make anything from "wat if u could ride giraffes" and it always turns to spam, but I reworded your title so a good discussion doesn't have to be closed. (You can also re-edit it, if it's not suitable for you)

Heh, it's natural of young people to fight against any kind of set authority and question it Silverion made the entire tip.it site, the domain, the forum... It's just a bit of fun, I'd view it as that. As said.. It's just a bit of harmless fun. Do you think many staff would stay around if admins started just banning random users "just because they can" or for minor infractions like bumping 1 old topic, restricting freedom of speech? I know I wouldn't. That's abuse of power. But this is just some entertainment from the guy that made the forum you're posting on. Andrew could probably also post anywhere on his official forum he wants to, and sticky his topic about a weekend on the caribbean. Nobody gets hurt, and after all, it's his company, property and website.

It might be a 'moral' question to some people.. But really if your life depended on it, everyone would hit or even kill a woman, even How2PK (well, most people who wanted to stay alive). Think about countries like Iran or China that use female soldiers as young as 16? What about some african countries using kids even as young as 11? (Some rebel factions might even use 5-7 year olds as soldiers) If someone's firing at you or threatening your life, I doubt you'd just sit there and ponder about morals in that situation. It might be nauseating, but if a kid/female is determined to take your life, are you just going to think "I'm not firing at them because they're weaker"? Hardly applies in western countries, but if a female was acting psycho & causing serious pain to you, would you just let her continue because of her gender? That sounds ridiculous.

How much XP did you get?

Heh.. You'll be more likely to find gold in the saharan desert than get the workaround to actually work for (Europeans). The server is already bad enough with random disconnections; It's even harder to obtain a low ping US proxy that doesn't go inactive within a few hours. Not just that but only maybe 5-10% of active SOCKS5 proxies are from the USA. Of those, maybe a further 20% are usable for gaming (a fair ping such as under 90). So your total chance to find a good proxy every day is about 1/100. Not a bad game though, and they'll launch officially in Europe soon :) It seems very similar to WR.. -

Even if he's a troll, I find it interesting and sad that kids these days think real war is fun and cool. Talk to an Iraq veteran and ask his opinion... Ask any balkan war veteran who have 99% certainly lost family members in combat, have dislocated arms/legs etc.. There's a great Roman/Greek quote I saw in some book or a game.. Can't remember who it's attributed to, maybe Erasmus or Pindar.. -
I know your pain though  Good luck staying focused on anything after 2 hours of sleep & feeling like your head is going to explode.. Total piece of crap advice, but at least works temporarily.. Energy drinks will make it so that you don't fall instantly asleep while you're at school/work and totally depraved of sleep.

Just use soap and water, with that simple method I had no spots by the start of late teens. After you're past your teens, it probably wont reoccur, just keep showering regularly and it'll stay at bay. For some people it might be genetic though, not all topical creams or sprays can help an internal body problem... If you're 11-16, it's extremely hard to get rid of them even if you wash regularly.. Hormones will cause unnecessary clogging of skin pores due to the fatty glands producing too much grease especially while you sleep.. You can make it slightly less visible as a teen, but it's very hard to make it completely disappear. The cleaner food you eat/the cleaner your body is.. The less acne you'll have. Obviously drinking tons of water is the optimal way to clean your body but it's not sustainable for long, even an adult would start having mood swings, depression, rage, weakness and other symptoms after not eating much at all & just drinking water for extended periods.

Heh, I tried everything for years since I started having sleeping problems at 15 or so.. Turns out nothing works. Sometimes I go awake for 24 hours and sleep 4, not tired at all.. Sometimes I'm awake for 15 hours and need to sleep 15, still feel tired. Sleep pills, routines, dark room, not using bed for anything else than sleeping.. Nope, nothing helps. It's not particularly bothering at least in my life but irrational and unusual sleep patterns can sometimes screw up schedules. Doubt you have a case of insomnia or sleep disorders but just throwing it (the possibility) out there.

Good to see someone who knows what they're talking about.. I programmed diets before to a few people, if you want to also build muscle mass while working out, I'd suggest even upping the ratio of carb/protein to more like 30:60 with the rest being fat. Keep the calorie count slightly above the daily suggested ratio+excercise included, with that diet+proper workout, all weight you're going to be gaining is mass.

I barely even know what Death Note is about (have a slight idea though) but that's one of the funniest things I've watched for months. Nice lip syncing for such an innocent character

Speaking of desecration.. Anyone remember that press photo from when Bush was touring EU countries in 2003? Maybe he didn't know it counts as flag desecration though...

+1 Unless it's a joke of some sort, you don't have the right to hit women. Women rights, hitting someone isn't a right, it's just something stupid. Women on the other hand have the right to slap you, punch you, pour their glass of wine over your head, hit you with their purse, throw stuff at you, and other variations when you're being an [wagon]. It's not like you'll get seriously hurt. If you disagree, then become gay or say hi to the mr the police officer. +2. Men are typically stronger thhan woman so we can't feel pain at all, and it's ok to hurt us, as long as we don't fight back. +3, if a woman was about to knife me to death, I'd smile and ask if she wants a glass of orange juice while she's at it. Punches and other stuff are ok too, as members of Man, we can't feel nerve impulses such as pain or suffering.

Rice? Wheat-free products? Fruit? That's why it's called a "disease". In most countries less than 1% of people have it.
-
Heh, completely unrelated to obesity, but a running joke in Britain and New Zealand is listing your religion on official forms as "jedi".. It's a good portion of the pop. especially in NZ, some 1.5% (more than buddhists)

I don't think the specifics are important. The reasons for not hitting people, and the exceptions to them transcend gender. There's rarely a good reason to throw the first punch, but if the reason is there then it doesn't matter who the person is. If a person caused the death of your family member, ruined your life, made you lose your job.. Would you spare the baseball bat just based on gender? I don't think any woman would... Why should any man?
