  1. sigh you thought life was great, right? I have 400k to my name atm. 4 sextus keys left. After that I'll go do the hard clue scroll in my bank, then snort some keys of coke irl and blow my brains out. Come ooooonnnn! I was silently rooting for you! What about herb farming, of Miscellania?!?!?
  2. Maybe it's better if you see a lure rather than read. This is how I did it, and I just momentum'd my way about. It's slower but not to the point it takes painfully long. For the 3rd Demon I lure him right inbetween the rock becuse if I don't stand behind that rock formation (smaller one) he'll walk over.
  3. I was under the impression it was 88 in summoning/crafting/construction since that is what the first post says. But thanks for correcting me. A new summoning familiar is closer than I thought then. EDIT: So I threw around some number from a possible path a player might take training skills to see would it be better to go to just 96 summoning or 84 crafting/construction/summoning for a T3 pig. This doesn't assume any quest done (except Wolf Whistle) or any free exp from lamps, Troll Invasion, Tears of Guthix, etc. I took most of this from runescape wikia and tip it so everything I listed may not be cost effective or efficient; it's an potential path, not the best path. But it really depends on player objectives (use of the other two pigs, goals, etc).
  4. It depends, do you consider Glacors or Frost Dragons bosses? Because those two are where I tend to get a lot of blue charms from outside slayer. Also, as far as I know Rock Lobster drop a lot of all charm types charms but they have been hardly done since EOC, so I can not tell you if they are still good.
  5. That's because it was made popular on reddit and passed around by word of mouth afterwards. And you know how things get foggy the more it gets passed from person to person...Well. Oh. I never knew it was on reddit...mostly because I avoid that site like the plague...and 4chan. Also, scammers, y u no send me email. :(
  6. Thanks for the heads up. This is funny since Ping posted a glitch that actually allows first person mode in the pic/vid/screenshot thread. Anyone how isn't all that cautious who has seen that video would get excited, post all over RSOF and try to play. Let's see if I got the same email...
  7. NOOOOOO! YOU STOLE MY THUNDER! Anywho, welcome!
  8. I like everything, but I don't have to cash nor do I trust my computer for anything. In all honesty I want to finally buy Portal 2.
  9. I'll have to finally learn them and do them. I'll probably spend tonight learning them and hopefully have a 20 mil limbs drop before the end of the evening. Should I make/sell a tetsu helm for the cash or should I just wait for the extra 2 plate and have my superior version? Get Tetsu for yourself. TDs aren't hard, just gotta learn to lure but after that they are easy. I just use momentum so I can pay attention to prayer switch and Darklight use.
  10. Since they are promising these reworks I really wish we had more information. I'm curious as to how they'll approach this. If I was being honest I wouldn't mind some dragon equipment being made by the use of bane ores from RotM, but I feel like way too many players would flip [bleep] and I fear certain dragon item dropping monster would just become so less appealing. I'm looking at you Tormented Demons...
  11. Now that I think about it, I suppose the question remains will you get 88 crafting/construction/summoning or go all the way to 96 summoning? I mean, a lot of players do have incentive to max and have good ways of going about it. But doesn't that cost of a t3 prayer/pack pig seem higher than a pack yak you can stuff prayer potions in? I still think the rewards are useful now that they've changed a few things and I would very much love my pack pig if I can manage the craft/con requirements. I for all I know those 88 requirements could be cheap, what with warbands, the free exp D&Ds and some good gp/xp methods. Since I'm going for 90 base stats I'll likely get him before a yak, but for the non maxing regular who will level what skill they want are they even looking at the pig still?
  12. But 10+ years ago it was still a small game being run by two brothers essentially and lvl 99 smithing earned you the best gear in-game; it made perfect sense. It was never future proof, but back then there was never a long term vision really and it didn't seem like it'd ever matter. It's easy to say something should've happened with hindsight, it's not the same when you are there at the time. Rightly so; however, my question remains why is 99 smithing still limited to creating level 40 armor? I can only assume Jagex asked the same question at one point in time and instead of a total mining/smithing rework (and a rework in armor I suppose) used Player Owned Ports. Part of me is thinking this supposed Port expansion is suppose to remedy this.
  13. you kno i have over 172 mil total xp though way more then you =) This game has become nothing but a who has the biggest D contest... 172m total exp and no ovls. Terrible/10
  14. ...I would have never put my Dragon Hatchet in my Toolbelt. Nonetheless, the Adze is nice to have. All for the cause of getting these And of course, quest done on release to keep my cape So thieving will be done, eh...later. Back to smithing. And since the new SOF promo isn't a limited time thing I can do tons more Temple Tekking. Until next time
  15. I also found this on the forum. Not much different from what I mentioned but it notes some exp things you can do I think: http://forum.tip.it/topic/319961-dailies/
  16. Quest and farming. Do a lot of questing and farming. And task. Quest open up a lot of new content for better money making, and as you improve your stats, especially combat, you'll have access to easier methods. Also, you should farm a lot of herb to sell so you can use some of that money for your other skill. Doing as many task as you can allow you to do dallies (Daily Profits) like collecting free sand or buying battlestaves to sell on the GE from NPCs. At your current levels a lot of what your early money is either quest rewards and collecting items to sell on the GE, like limpwurts. Some quest you want to make sure to finish is Throne of Miscellania (and Royal Trouble), Tower of Life with the easy Ardougne task done, and as many quest in the Myreque series as you can so you can do Managing Miscellania, collect summoning/herblore secondaries from the monster in the tower of Life you kill (to sell on the GE) and with better combat stats to do Barrows. While you are doing these, complete as many task as you can, and if you particular interested in Barrows, then do a lot of Temple Tekking for easier transportation until you finish The Branches of Darkmeyer. Here is a link to the Daily Profits you can unlock from quest/task. These are just a few extra thing you can do for money: https://docs.google....otNS0xUGc#gid=1 Lastly, pay attention to GE prices. Some things make money that you may be able to benefit from in your current level. Right now I think raw fish makes a bit of money. When I was F2P I used to fish swordfish/lobsters and buy strength potions then go to F2P Edgeville on the Wilderness world and sell to lazy fighter for much more than it was in the GE. I also bought Muddy Keys and went to the Lava Maze with a gem bag to the Muddy Chest. I would open the chest with as many keys as I had, then leave to sell the Rubies, Runes and Mithril Bars (well I actually kept the runes :D) This is of course dangerous should but it was one of my many little methods.
  17. Well that's certainly a reason to use them now, at least the pack pigs. At the highest level around 50mins for a familiar inbetween a War tortoise and a Pack Yak. Even if it's 4 more space, that's four more pieces of food, potions, etc...
