I would probably go as far to say just wearing black dragon hide with a decent melee level would be better all around, that way you don't get owned by revs. Green dragons don't hit that hard on my level 75 friend. So I'm sure most could get by with using it. Either way rune at max, why even risk dragon

Noones knows anything anyone tells u would be strictly a guess. There was apparently a crash right before the last exp weekend. So might want to sell off few days before. but again thats only a guess, there could still be people buying right thru the weekend.

Ok so does anyone know (yet?) or can estimate the rate of the bonus depletion as you do skills? I am planning on training various multiple skills and want to really break down times for how long each task/training skill will take. Does training theiving through the sorceress garden give double exp as well? I know lamps, effiggies, etc. do not grant double exp, but SG is a little different. Finally can people give me a few rates for a given training method. == Approximently how many trips around wilderness agility course per hour can you net? (Level 55 agility + boots/spotted cape maybe some energy pots if it helps out that much) == How many "Unfinished potions" per hour can I finish? == How many logs per hour? (firemaking) == How many nature runes per hour (runecrafting) using castlewars/spirit graahk method?

I went to metals with the knowledge that I was paying for mom click intensive magic training. With all the ways to make money today you should have no problems earning any minimum profit loss at metals. That being said I made long trips with twelve plus antifire pots. Loaded up a bob and inventory on bones when I was running lower on pots. Either way you do it take a beast of burden. Even the terrorbird or whatever the first one is worth it.

If your going to be serious about this. Plan on three plus your trips. Take around 4000 casts, and alchemy runes of course. Take the best beast of burden you can and as you are getting ready to leave you fill it up with bones. I always used highest level fire spell. But once you can surge and with staff of light you may want to consider doing wind, water, then earth as you progress to fire surge. Got 75-99 at metals and loved it!

Ahrims hood has same mage bonus as farseers helm. No reason to use it and have to repair it. I can't do abbys but I love steels. I did magic from 75-99 almost exclusively at metals and it was honestly fun, every minute of it. Only reason I did it.

Some people just dont want help. Look at it this way they are both vast improvements on gear you may/may not use. So buy whatever item you would get the most USE out of. You cannot simply compare two items like that because they have different uses. Thus the crossbow may or may not be more commonly accepted as better than the maul to the public, but what if you do not do what the public is doing with them? Thats what Sirizenhime is saying buy the weapon you will use the most... For a given situation that it is good for. Not whether someone else says oh the maul is awesome. *rolleyes* Feel free to hate on my statement too I dont care. :wall:

Ahrims needed repair halfway through my trip otherwise I would have got 3 dragon leg drops in one trip of 4k (roughly) casts. Got 99 magic on this to boot, was a great day! EDIT: 1500 posts here haha! :thumbsup:

So I've kind of neglected my thread but I've got alot of accomplishments. Not Pictured Level 80 SLAYER! Level 75 Woodcutting Level 90 strength Level 85 Defense Level 70 Fishing Couple of drops getting to 99 magic. Now for the big one 8-23-10 I was doing my last trip to get 99 magic. I got one dlegs drop then my ahrims got destroyed (didn't realise it needed repaired when I left) so I had to make my one trip (roughly 4k casts) into two trips. I got a set of dlegs, then I brought home 99 magic. By that time it was pretty late and not to many people in the dungeon so I went to go back to my 'favorite' steel spawn to kill a few more. Killed it 3 times and got my second dllegs. So 3 dlegs in roughly 4k casts in a few hours and 99 magic!!!! WOOT WOOT

With whatever profits you make with the telegrabbing invest in a faster method of magic training, highest fire spell on a decent monster for example.

That covers most of it, just train slayer you can do some tasks and train your range and magic. Honestly I left for two years and the way things are done havent changed that much. So just get back into doing things how you used to. Your catch onto anything new soon enough. The biggest updates are really reserved for high level prayer/herblore, least the biggest game changers.

Make it more interesting and try to train like slayer or summoning along with it. I know you said level 3 but having like 50 summoning and all other combats at 1 would be pretty cool. More unique than level 3 skiller, more fun too IMO.

I just got lvl 99 mage last night yada yada congrats thanks, anyway! I am having trouble finding a good look that I can wear to go with it. Budget isn't really a problem I wont be buying thirdage or anything so just for the sake of argument cause I know how some people are lets say 10M. I don't like the elegant sets look aweful IMO at least from what I've scene. I think I am going to go with the sara prayer robes... I like how its mostly white but with some blue trim. Any insight is helpful though, pictures are a thousand words. Thanks for your 'help'

Farmings always good money. Start slaying or camping higher level monsters? Not sure what your slayer level is... Could range avansies for some decent range exp and good income. Kill green/blue dragons bank hides/bones.

Not sure if I've ever scene someone mage blues before? Metals are really good to mage, and its actually pretty fun you may lose you may win you never now. But soon as you get that visage if you stick with it long enough I know you'd be happy. I was... 99 magic tonight from (roughly 75) all at metals. <3: Edit: I always recommend the best fire spell you can use! Especially considering you are using brobes + SOL.

If your going to use combat magic you might as well do combat...

Holy wrench, rfd gloves, magic securters, enhanced excalibur if you have them those are some of the top ones. The list can get really long just depends on what you are wanting to do.

As with all the other exp details not much has been CONFIRMED. But i belive (as would most) that you would not be able too. Esepcially considering alters and such do not stack.
