  1. Zammy books best book for anything. I have all 3 and use zammy book or something else completely, guthix/sara books have always sat in my bank. So you wont regret it.
  2. 200-300 is nothing honestly I've done most my training (magic) at metals because I like it, its fine good drops makes it excieting (maybe not profitable but its magic for crying out loud). Lvls 70-97 and going one visage for example, but I don't complain, some people have gotten two visages in less then 1000 kills. But I've slayed tens of thousands. Random, random, rare, and more random!
  3. Braods would be fine getting to jad. As for the zammy book it provides a better attack bonus. What I am talking about in the bold is defense isn't as important as attack/prayer bonuses for fight caves. It helps but an extra inventory space at your levels would go along ways than a little bit more defense. Especially when we are talking one barrows item to another. To put it this way. You get to the end of the fight caves extra defense in your legs is not going to save you if you run out of prayer.
  4. Why guthix book? Zammy would be better as your be praying against things that can hurt you (more or less) or your be dead... The 360's and Jad will own you without protecting and anything below that you can heal of or at least safespot then heal once you kill most of them. Also might be better just to forget veracs skirt and wear the guthan legs and have an extra inventory space, extra restore or something. Biggest thing is to familierize yourself with the prayer switching and calm your nerves.
  5. If you have a decent range or magic level pretty much all tasks have an 'easy' way, safespot, or just the creature is significantly weak to one type, etc. I always used the highest slayer master i could.
  6. I would say most all the TT items have a street value, some alot more than others thats for sure, might be a few, arrows being one of them that people are not buying on street. Prices on all the new items will steadily rise till there is enough supply. I can tell you this if you hold them till tomorrow you wont lose money... And so on for however long. If you want to make the most of them then yeah hold onto them, if you got junk you can try to get a street value for them.
  7. Slayer, over the long run you profit pretty much any method you do, including powerslaying at higher levels. Definitely get into slayer, the longer u wait the bigger a waste of time it is. My melee exp flies by because of slayer and its actually fun and as I said profit. Definitely do the quest smoking kills as soon as you can for slayer rewards. If you want profit you can do a number of things from green dragons although very crowded and better to have higher stats. You could even camp lvl 2 men in edgeville for herb drops.
  8. He's not asking to break even. It is a factor for most people but a lot of high levels can waste away money on say overloading and taking bronze dragons, then go do an hour of frost dragon bone collecting and pay off hrs of bronze dragon camping easy. Then he gets his elites and profits even more. How's that help him get elite clues besides the average one task every ten to twenty that will be a metal dragon or black dragons etc. Camping bronze dragons wouldn't be a terrible idea. I've heard drop rates as low as one and fifty. Metal dragons aren't the only monsters that drop them  I got 2 elite clues in one task of Jungle Strykewyrms. So the list of monsters could be very broad. True but the fact is he is asking the fastest way to get elites. What do we know? It's a somewhat rare random drop. Sounds like bad odds to me. How do you increase those odds, you kill more faster. If u end up doing slayer your essentially wasting time getting tasks, skipping tasks or doing tasks that do not drop elites, etc. Sure isn't a huge deal for most of us, but this guy is asking for the best way to get elites. And I'm sorry but doing slayer is not the best way. Happy hunting, and sounds like doing Bork and skeletal horror will give u two good chances. And if you have a slayer task that drops elites that could be good too.
  9. How's that help him get elite clues besides the average one task every ten to twenty that will be a metal dragon or black dragons etc. Camping bronze dragons wouldn't be a terrible idea. I've heard drop rates as low as one and fifty.
  10. No reason to train on yew seeds. Do willows and pineapple trees and the highest profit herb you can plant. Make sure you do the quest to increase yield. The magic things forget what their called. That will get you more profit per herb patch. Also work your farming run into your daily routine for maximum efficiency. If you want to do multiple herb runs a day then more power to u.
  11. Kind of depressing huh? Thats why I haven't bought one ever, better of investing in bandos (if you dont have already) and just using whip/ss/zs for anything you do.
  12. Make friends in high places that will trade you it for GE value. I know one of my friends was able to do that. Best option (honestly) is for this next week or two do NOTHING but treasure trails, get a few of the new ones hopefully a dragon mask and some other new items and try to trade for it. These new TT items hold street value currently and could for up to a month or more I'd imagine.
  13. Only book I use (have all 3) is zammy. And all three new books are worse than that so without a doubt no not worth it.
  14. If your worried about it I always found range to be more effective. Might just be me though.
  15. Why wouldn't you be able to sucessfully burst at lvl 79 magic? You only need lvl 70! With good gear too (which you have) the difference betwene lvl 79 bursting and lvl 90+ bursting won't be very noticiable. Magic is more based on the spell than the level.
  16. Dailies, farming herbs, MTK. Your make a few million everyweek. Then just do ANY profitable activity slayer, dragon camping (bones and hides), avanisies, hell you can gather resources (woodcutting, mining, etc.)
  17. Backwards... It's be majority in herbs since i can remember. Whatever you want is acceptable... But if you want to make money its 10 herb/5 coal. Best IMO, if you want nests for seeds just make the most money you can (herb/coal) and buy the seeds you WANT to train with. If you want it for just the randomness of nests (eggs and such) then do like 10herb/3mining/2wood
  18. Those states would be probably below average of people who complete the quest but I know for sure I've scene people go in with less than desirable stats example pure like stats. I'm sure if you have some decent gear you could do it pretty easily with your goal levels. Least maybe after a few tries if worse comes to worse. Of course higher levels would make it all the more easier.
  19. I personally do willows, pineapples, and ranaar with good results. Good exp and profit? Idk I never cared as much to crunch the numbers.
  20. Metal dragons... and as you said corp beast, Bork, few others.
  21. If you like it and use it then keep it. If not then sell it. Not much to it.
  22. I dont have 80 dung, but from what I've gathered. chaotic rapier for most everything (especially slayer) cls for a few bosses chaotic maul for fun and a few bosses
  23. Void mace lets you auto cast claws of guthix and not Zammy flames correct? Or did that change in past two years?
  24. Set up your dailies routine, farming run, and especially manage thy kingdom first. Then do a mix of slayer for combat training, and quests to move forward overall. Make a list of a few quests you want to do, then write the requirements you need (if any) stats, quest-lines, etc. And just set daily goals.
