What is new?
Dungeoneering is a new and pretty expansive skill thats similar to like raiding for other MMO's, focus on groups.
-
range leveling
Chinning fastest and most expensive. Yaks pretty fast and a mess of alot cheaper. Then there are plunty of monsters you can camp and profit on all day long with range.

New Slayer Monsters - Defeat Them Without Using Combat Skills
Leave slayer a 'combat skill' IMO. You got dungeoneering that you can use all (most skills) in, thats enough.

Knight_Zaros - Quest for Glory
Dlegs 7 seem to be on a legs streak! Better than skirts but lets get a visage!!!!

Maging Iron Dragons
Staff of light is definitly worth it I am fire surging it and definitly reaping the benefit. I bring 4k casts but generally leave a bit early. Dont forget to take a beast of burden and load up on as many dragon bones as possible to sell. Good luck!

Cut Dragon stones
Or sell and invest in a better way to train your crafting or herb as you said. Selling as stone or glories nets you practically the same gp...

Knight_Zaros - Quest for Glory

Ditch obby shield and use rune defender. Nothing else too it! good luck =P

Cut Dragon stones
Making glories or sell them not really many options there... Looks like you have room to maybe profit making glories.

Obby is only really like never needed, even better shields are not even needed unless your talking about soloing some bosses or something. Otherwise just go with rune defender, I use it over everything pratically. So if you haven't gotten it already make that your first thing to get, and its basically free. Your equipment is really not that bad, depending on tasks you may need to alter it abit, having some magic defense armor comes to mind first for a few of the magic based slayer monsters. Also having a good magic and or range setup on the side and ready helps for a few tasks that are better to attack from afar. You could also look into investing in things to speed up training, cannon for example, definitly get your slayer helm/mask/hexcrest/focus sight once you get the levels for tall that. As for ring this is very debatable for all but I have always been a fan of the Ring of wealth, the +2-+4 stat boost you get from most combat rings etc. just never seemed to make that much of a difference. Also for your gloves/bracer I always go with the combat bracer over anything else because it saves an inventory space and gives a slayer count every 10 monsters. I like the counter, and the extra space is helpful on quite a few tasks.

Making Money
Besides what you are doing the next 'big' thing is going to be the obvious monster hunting, which your stats are a little low to be a great monster hunter. You can team with some people and coin/lootshare or maybe solo mage rex (still could benefit from higher mage/prayer/defense. People also do alot of combat training that can profit alot, things that come to mind is camping higher level slayer monsters for their drops, and banking dragon bones/hides. Having a decent beast of burden definitly helps increase the gp per hour.

Daily Activities for GP
I buy like 5k feathers a day from the various stores. Not a ton but they are close to pretty much all my other daily tasks so just takes a minute. (For example you can hit two of them on your way to MTK.

Manage My Kingdom

Magic training?
I have had no problem training metals to level 96 magic. It's relaxing and fun. Not tasking and boring, just how I play the game and seems like you would appreciate that. I don't ever really focus on exp rates but I would say 70k+ exp an hr wouldn't be far off fire surging, its much faster/better than the lesser spells thats for sure. Something to consider is maybe train your combat magic a few ways to mix it up. Make those last few levels go by alot quicker! Heres a brief metals guide to what I wear. I think your smart enough to substitute anything you'd like. Gear Far seer Helm Ahrims Top/Bottom Infinity boots Glory (same mage bonus as fury no reason to 'waste' a spot on fury if you disconnect/die/etc.) Combat Bracer Staff of Light (definitly save you some money so long as it doesn't hit rock bottom why you are using it) Dragonfire shield Ring of Wealth ( you will definitly see a positive difference by wearing, much more important than a few magic attack pts) Inventory 1k coins (to get into dungeon/placeholder for alchs) 100 Nats (alch) 500 fires (alch) 4-5k Casts of Fire surge Teletab any axe/slash weapon (to cut through webs) I just bought a bunch of steels for dirt cheap and drop them soon as I'm through Best summon Bob (I always fill up on as many dragon bones as I can when my trips coming to a close) 10-16 antifires Some food incase your afking a bit much and get hit with firebreath.

Helping a friend out (new member)
So I am a pretty high level 117 and I have a good friend of mine that just started to play runescape for the first time with a new character of course. Due to the trade limits I am trying to help him out the best I can but it is slow obvious. Does anyone have any advice to helping my friend along besides giving him the very small max trade every 15 minutes? I mean I will be doing this as we hangout for the time being to help him gain some capital. But I had the idea of lootsharing with him in places where he can maybe still fight? Maybe having him range/mage why I 'tank'? Any ideas would be helpful one even a good monster thats accessable easily for a newer character. Any other ideas helpful. Not looking for ways for him to get money himself he can do that on his own time, Im looking at ways I can advance him with my help.

despair...
im not asking for money im asking someone to tell me why it is worth it to waste my money. basicly someone to convince me that i should stay on runescape Honestly noone cares if you stay. You have to care to stay, if you are wasting your money and your not having fun then leave, nothing else too it. If you have any real questions there are tons of helpful people on these forums and in the game that are willing to help you. But your really on the verge of trolling. I mean if you honestly liked the f2p game I dont understand how you can complain about the members game it is so much better, so much bigger and more to do. The members game definitly gets alot better a higher level, with more experience and money (in game that is). If you are not having fun though you will not enjoy it in the long run either.

Dungeoneering Solo vs. Group
Early levels of dungeoneering go very slow (least my first 20 have thus far) by soloing as well fyi. Not sure if the exp seems to speed up as you get a little more higher level...

Knight_Zaros - Quest for Glory
Hey thanks for the post! A little update I've grinded out a few slayer levels and got to level 75 (over halfway to level 76 already), really going for 77 for a shortterm goal so I can make my newly aquired slayer helm a full slayer helm. :)

Item worth buying and holding on to
Correct current TT items will likely drop and the new TT items will likely be ridiculously expensive throughout most of the year. So don't pick any of these. The only real safe bet is always going to be in discountied rares, santa's, masks, phats, edible rares (egg/pumpkin) etc... If you can't afford anything than it is really anybody's guess because anything that continues to be dropped/hunted for/etc. in game can fluculate quite a bit on a few months to a year. So longterm investments on items like this can be very risk and definily not a sure shot investment either. Example two years ago robin, fury, bandos armor, etc. could all be found for under 10million, robin and fury being cheap around 1-4million and now they are all what 15-20mil+ again...

Need adive on gears for dks
Really he just needs to work on mage, defense at 78 isn't terrible, obviously higher defense would be better. But if he had guthans and gets good at it he will still be able to manage some decently length trips. But I would definitly recommend 75-80+ Magic just to increase his kill count/speed.

Need Advice on my character as a whole.
Thing thats made runescape more enjoyable than past time's ive played is I've expanded on my "dailies" and "weeklies" tasks list. This is good for you considering you are worried about funds. The best part about the dailies is it takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes to maybe max a half hour or so if you do everything. You having done pretty much every quest really helps you as far as dailies because you have access to more of them than I do with only 130 some quest points. Make sure you are doing MTK with herb with 10 workers and mining at 5 (watch the second one as this changes somewhat frequently), you can also do raw fish for about the same profit, some people say maples too but that banks alot on getting good nests. But definitly 10 on herb. Besides MTK (which is more like a weekly task if you ask me) I do a few quick and easy things takes me 10minutes max. With MTK its well over 500k profit everyday, probably closier to 1million. Other tasks include. - Zafts Battlestaffs (if you have done varrock achievement diaries this profit increases drastically) - Various Rune shops (currently earths, waters, and deaths have been profitable for resell) - Feather shops (again been profitable forawhile now) - Slayer's unfinished broad bolts Then add in some farming run(s) and you can really increase your profits. As for training none of your tasks seem to bad, I mean your talking two magic levels you can do that in a day with combat magic if you wanted too (I would much more fun). One crafting level wont cost you much at all. Construction as said oak larders is the most cost effective way, with 20mil "to spend" you will have plunty of room especially if you continue with the dailies task. As for agiltiy always put all you XP lamps and random rewards into it, every little bit helps.

sol vs. lbs
I use ancient staff and defender on waterfiends. Best cheap melee method I could come up with that works good enough. People with Sara sword and zammy spear where obviously faster but still got the job done at a decent rate.

Need adive on gears for dks
His exact stats could help considering you both could tribrid together if yes really close. If not id probably say you hybrid prime and supreme and he mages Rex. Also a budget could be helpful or what kind of gear you have already. If you mage Rex a mixup of range defense and prayer magic boosting armor is recommended. People will often times use guthans with a healing summon as well. make sure you plan to take a beast of burden, it drastically increases profits. Bones and hides will probably cover all or most costs.
