The cross bow type you use doesn't matter and I'm asuming that you should not use prayer or potions because that will also ruin your number.

What you are suggesting is that some one who is not paying Jagex any money for members beifits yet had in the past, gets to freely shocase his achievments. WHILE People who are paying the same amount of money to Jagex (which is nothing), and have not formerly paid Jagex for membership benifits, do not get to showcase his achivements that took him 3 times as long to acomplish. Membership benifits should stay in members world. In my opinion members should have all their items unequiped when they enter a free world.

I would mine 9 iron and 18 coal in chasm mine (the one north of Al-Kharid) then walk to lumberidge and smelt it into steel. Walk to the anvil in varrok and smith the highest level steel item I could then imedietly sell it to the general store for about 500 gp total. Repeat. I did this for weeks until I realized that I could sell the coal plain for a lot more money. More recently I pked for money until I realized I was wasting my time spending 2-3 hours to get a full rune set and almost wasting all the profit on food and arrows.

Goo-thans and Guh-thix I pronounce them both diferently.

Full rune while pking, in ftp you really have to try if you want to lose more than that. But I suppose I've caused more people to lose full rune that I've lost it my self. ;)

I could live without strength, or any other melee skill. Strength is the worst because so many people get it up to a high level and it goes to their heads.
