  1. That's the other problem with it--unlike MA rings or defenders or Void or various quest gear, it's not actually the best gear for its slot. So when you eventually get the better gear, it ends up becoming obsolete, and then it just sits in your bank being useless.
  2. 90 agility would let you use the Kuradal's Dungeon shortcut without a boost. So that's upside, I guess.
  3. Surefooted is good at low levels--it lets you Ape Atoll at 48 agility and get the same xp as a 75'er would--but at higher levels it's actually literally useless for agility because the no-fail levels make the effect redundant. At your level you can use agility pots at Ape Atoll.
  4. Especially at only 27 agility and 44 mining.
  5. TBH if you do enjoy BA, the Torso isn't actually the best way to spend your points. You'll want to spend them on mining or agility XP, or on leveling up your favorite roles. Those give you much more bang for your buck.
  6. Maxing strength bonus is a priority, but you have to remember that most equipment upgrades in that regard are very small, marginal changes. The reason they're worth it is the low opportunity cost--if you're not upgrading your gear, you're sitting around with a big pile of money in your bank that isn't doing anything, so you might as well spend it on something. Untradable gear doesn't work that way, since you can't just trade your extra cash for it, you have to actually go out and DIY one. So you have to actually give some thought to whether it's worth the time it takes to obtain it. In the case of the Fighter Torso, the short answer is no, it isn't worth the time it takes to obtain it.
  7. Doing quests for agility xp is definitely viable at low levels. Should be faster than normal training. Also, remember the circus every week.

Since I am going to be doing mining first, Do I need to have a invo full of waterskins into to mine there? EDIT: I dont have the enchanted water tiara, nor am I close to getting it, dumb quest Humidify is better anyway.
  9. Yeah, you should get a quest cape. That's the way to go. Can't go wrong with quests. They're fun and literally the most efficient thing you can do.
  10. Ivy. Arctic pines, teaks, or sawmill would be faster than either of them.
  11. Melee is faster anyway, especially with your stats and gear. So, just melee them, basically. If you really wanted the mage xp, Storm of Armadyl would be better. Polypore isn't great for mage xp because unlike other spells, you don't get base xp for each cast.
  12. Living rocks are decent too. Fat HP, no defense, all the drops are noted, they don't do a lot of damage, and you get an xp multiplier for fighting them.
  13. There's some new stuff, and some of the old stuff has been changed. Hey, ask a vague question, get a vague answer.
  14. No point bothering with potions at all, really...it should be easy to get that level just by doing quests. See quests that give herblore xp. There's more than enough to get to 38 without doing any training or spending any money.
  15. Be wary that the Wildy graphics update changed the fence around, so the gate by the Ice Plateau has now disappeared, making the two northernmost beacons significantly slower to light. I think the best way now is to get the northern one with the Lunar teleport (which lands you on the north side of the fence), run into the Ghorrock fortress to get away from the Wildy's teleport restriction, use Spellbook Swap, and then use the Ancient teleport (which lands you on the south side of the fence) to get the southern one.
  16. Some people think they should be going up. Other people think they should be going down. Right now, they're going up because the first group outnumbers the second group.
  17. But can both boni activate at the same time? Yes, they can both activate at the same time. It's happened to me before.
  18. Plant trees, fruit trees, and herbs. Cactus spines are worth picking once you get the level, although that's more for the money, and the jade vine is worth killing once you do the quest, although that's more for the slayer xp. And that about sums it up. Also, do all of the quests that give farming xp, since you need the QP anyway.
  19. It'll stack additively. Greenfingers gets you additional herbs in the same way as jujus, giving a chance of picking two herbs instead of one (or three herbs instead of two if they both activate at the same time) without giving any xp for the extras.
  20. In the long run, it's more efficient to not plant trees at all and just get 99 with herbs.
  21. Herblore Habitat isn't that complicated, really. There's a lot of different types of jadinkos, but the basic formula is the same: you farm the herbs and hunt the seconds to make untradable potions, and you attract different jadikos to hunt based on what you've planted in the patches.
  22. Another reason quests are good: XP rewards are more valuable at low levels. For example, Tourist Trap is worth just under 2 hours of agility training at the Gnome course if you do it at level 1, so you save more time than it actually takes to do the quest--it's more efficient than real training. If you wait to lv55, though, you'd only be saving about 15 minutes at the Wildy course--not nearly as good a deal. So the sooner you do quests, the more efficient it is to do them.
  23. You forgot the magic stat. Maging Nomad is actually pretty viable. Ganodermic is good against him (it blocks damage from his special attacks), and at high levels, you can get good damage with Storm of Armadyl or a Polypore Staff. Blood Barrage works too.
  24. In the absence of Soul Split, a bunyip is very handy, and yes, the scrolls are useful for waterfiends. If a bunyip weren't an option, next best thing would be a terrorbird carrying extra supplies, but if you can get the level for the bunyip, yeah, just go for it.
  25. Goliath gloves with a defender would beat them both. Sara Sword is slightly better than Zammy Spear, unless you have a preference for controlled xp.
