How long does a teleblock last?
I should point out that the teleblock wears off automatically if you leave the wildy. Not sure if that's relevant for the Mage Arena lever of course.

Question on Slayer Points
Doesn't it say 10k slayer xp when you hover the mouse over the option? It is 10k, anyway. I would say start by learning all 3 things. I picked the slayer rings first and didn't regret it , but the slayer helm and the broad-tipped bolt fletching are well worth getting too. After that you should keep 100 points open until you get a task you want to ban (and don't go picking black demons or black dragons as if the Chaos Tunnels never existed, like some people I know have done  ). When you have all your desired tasks banned and all 3 abilities unlocked, you should spend your points on slayer dart runes, which is worth something like 85k gp for each 35 points. The 10k exp really isn't worth it. You're basically spending the points of 20+ tasks to get the experience of fewer than three of them.

Bolts: Broad-Tipped, Addy, Runite
56 gp, actually. And that's if you had to buy your feathers in a shop for 6 gp--they're only 4 in the GE. : You can fletch a LOT of bolts in a very short time, and you can do it while doing other things too (such as playing the fishing trawler), so not only are broad-tipped bolts great for ranging, they're very profitable to fletch.

Bolts: Broad-Tipped, Addy, Runite
The percentage of bolts that break is the same for all ammo. See, 80%.

Saif's now dead guide. R.I.P. amazing guide.
Wait, are you telling me they seriously nerfed it? (If they did, the proper title change is "Saif's Guide to Tarn's Lair in 3 Minutes (Obsolete)" so that it's still descriptive of the content)

Tip.It Times Presents: Why So Serious...
I do love Jagex's subliminal messages. I.E.: It's a game, not a lifestyle, stop taking it like it means life-or-death. The trouble is all the fun things to do in RuneScape have no reward. PC was sort of fun, and gave insane amounts of experience, but everyone loved training combat at the time. Now Slayer's the way to train combat and it's repetitive and boring. This dilemma doesn't really exist in better balanced games than RuneScape. If they want me to have fun, don't make sitting at my computer aimlessly clicking monsters the fastest way to achieve. :? I absolutely agree. Minigames like Vinesweeper, the Great Orb Project, and (hopefully) the new beacon lighting thing are steps in the right direction: entertaining alternatives to grinding. I hope that Jagex chooses to continue in this vein, and hopefully pump up the rewards even more. They've been too conservative with incentives in the past--see: summoning.

Jagex announces the most challenging quest to date.
I'm mildly intrigued, but it's still a long ways off. My initial thought is that it will take things from lots of other quests, and possibly involve our biggest storylines coming together. (How is the Red Axe linked to Arposandra and Glouphrie? What is Glough up to? Are the Mourners connected to the Vampyres? I haven't forgotten the sighting of a Daeyalt Ore mine cart in the Mourner HQ.)

Could GP Become Obsolete?
The short answer is no. The long answer is no, no #$%!ing way. ;)

The RS Stereotype
I have been told, while playing runescape, that, because I play runescape, I have no life, by people who have never met me, and who were also playing runescape. :XD: I pointed this out to one person, and the conversation went something like this. n00b: Lol you with your 99 fishing, at least I have a life. me: You play runescape. n00b: I barely play at all like less than an hour a day. me: You're on a member's world. You're paying 5 bucks a month to play this game. n00b: I only play rs to talk to my friends me: All your friends play runescape enough that you can talk to them even only playing less than an hour a day? me: Doesn't that mean all your friends have no life? n00b: stfu nub ...Well, I paraphrased a little, but :XD: Btw, have any of you ever considered that if everyone who played this game really did have no life, we'd all be zombies, meandering clumsily down the streets moaning "Braaaains! Braaaaaains! I want braaaaaaains to finish Creature of Fenkenstraaain!"

PVP worlds - Taking control of Areas
I think it would be rather comical if a clan tried to seize control of someplace, and a level 3 skiller walked in and none of the clan members could attack because of the level limit.

Lumbridge: Beginner Jobs
I did some jobs with my little f2p alt and the rewards were only a few handfuls of coins, nothing impressive. And there's a limit to the tasks you can do, too--I've tried again with the same character after spending some time fetching items for random Lumbridge people, and they don't give me jobs anymore, even after waiting a couple days. They tell me to stop being a n00b and go sell my stuff on the GE. (Or something along those lines.)

I need 90 Attack and Strength. Fast.
I've heard good things about ankous. After all, they're undead, which means salve ammy (e) for a nice boost to your damage. And they have good drops. 'Course they can be crowded, no?

Tarns lair?
why didnt anyone tell me!  Oh, it's been here the whole time. See? http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=754869

dust devils and drag chain
If you try to camp dust devils for the sole purpose of a d chain drop, you're going to be disappointed. If you kill them, you should do it for their more valuable common drops and their good charm drop rates, and consider the chance of a d chain to be more of a bonus. It's probably not going to happen.

Tarns lair?
You have to complete it the first time to be able to tele there :o Nope, no you don't. You can teleport there straight to the end, kill Tarn, and never need to do the maze. That's what I did. :-w

Professional Firemaking - Do it your way! [New: Videos]
Hehe, I was chopping willows and burning them with my f2p alt, and I couldn't find a straight line long enough for a full inventory, so I tried moving my line around. It barely took any practice to figure out how to do this, and it makes firemaking more fun when you can make whatever shape you like.

buy Feathers X
Every fishing shop that stocks feathers has an infinite stock, and every infinite stock has a buy-x option.

FM needs good update, read tifers ideas 5K+ Views!
My guess is it'll be related to the sequel to Spirit of Summer, since that's our first quest line to involve summoning.

Tip.It Times Presents: Why So Serious...
This article did a great job of discussing something without saying anything at all. It didn't explain anything new, it didn't make a stand on any position or opinion. Basically, it tried to talk about an issue, and failed to explain why it was talking about the issue. What's the point of an opinion piece that doesn't even present an opinion to debate? It's no good just saying "Some people think this, and other people think this." Tell us what you think. Don't say that people have different definitions of "fun." Duh. Give us some insight. Otherwise what are we supposed to argue about? Oh, and yes I did know. ;)

Kent's guide to Summoning mastery! Bork
Thanks, you sure he sells bananas? All charter ships do. I think the general store there is faster than Catherby for tinderboxes too.

Tip.It Times Presents: Grand Exchange - Help or Hindrance?
It makes people lazy? No, it removes the pointless busywork nobody likes. Do you really want to run back and forth from the shop on Entrana to buy eyes of newt that you could get for under 100 gp from other players, or stand around in a bank yelling for hours? Because I don't. There are only two major flaws with the Grand Exchange, in my opinion: the 100-at-a-time quantity limits, and the incredibly slow price updates of rare items like 3rd age.

12 Aug 2008 - Runecrafting Guild and Game - For All Players!
Ah, I sure do love throwing a game or two. Makes things simpler for all involved when you just get 500 tokens every game.

Do you believe in such thing...
Again, what's that supposed to prove? I can flip a coin and get a string of 10 heads, then a string of 10 tails. It doesn't mean that the probability of one flip is affected by the outcome of the others.
