  1. Almost all quests give rewards and pretty much all quests are worth doing, so...I mean...you should just do every quest anyway. :|
  2. Pretty sure this is the fastest source of herbs in the game, so seems good to me. Decent xp too; even better if you wait for a specs task.
  3. Iron dragons aren't really worth killing if you can't bank the bones, frankly. You might as well find something else to fight. Maybe blues instead.
  4. Well, yeah, something like that anyway.
  5. 1. Yes 2. Seers' Diary
  6. Helm of neitiznot, barrows gloves, full proselyte, magic secateurs, dramen/lunar staff (if you haven't done Fairy Tale 3 yet), enchanted lyre (if you haven't done Love Story yet), ectophial, elf teleport crystals, family crest gauntlets, cannon, salve ammy, ava's device, all the achievement diary rewards, uh...lots more I'm sure.
  7. The first article isn't very good. It ought to be fairly obvious that ancient magicks are better than modern in Castle Wars--compared to Entangle, they're more accurate, can be autocasted, hold for longer, hit multiple targets, deal damage, and can effectively damage barricades. So, duh, right? And the long-winded explanation of each spellbook basically amounts to a list of the spells in each book without any analysis or anything, which I could just as easily look up in the Game Guide and get the same info. So, the article is a miss for me. Not much to say about the second article.
  8. Uh, why aren't you using a soul wars cape? What kind of a quester are you, huh? :ugeek: Hullo, spirit shields anyone? Have you not done Summer's End? Legends Quest is pretty easy btw. Uh, proselyte armor is also quest gear, and it requires a higher-level quest?

Where should you use piety? Uh...melee. Just...any time you're using melee. Piety is always good.
  10. Daemonheim is misspelled in the title.
  11. Think of it this way. If you double your xp training thieving, for every hour of bonus xp you save one hour's worth of non-bonus xp training. If you double your xp training herblore, you save one hour's worth of non-bonus xp herblore training. So the savings from a pure xp standpoint are identical, assuming you're just using the fastest method in whatever skill you're training. But one hour's worth of herblore xp also costs you an hour or two's worth of money, so by saving an hour of herblore, your actual total time savings is greater than 1 hour. By further application of this principle, we can deduce that the best things to train in bonus xp weekend efficiency-wise will probably involve spending lots of resources to powertrain. Similarly, expensive training methods that would normally be less efficient than cheaper methods, such as prayer training with dagannoth bones, become more efficient than usual (gilded altars don't work with the bonus xp but you get the idea).
  12. Correct. Alternately, you could try and buy the unf pots directly, but that's bound to be more difficult than buying the herbs.
  13. I support this goal. And to avoid any potential temporal paradoxes as a result of someone saying something before I say it without me saying it the second time, I think I should probably point out that you ought to do quests because they are the best way to develop your character.
  14. For future reference, the fastest way to get there is via rum teleports, buyable for 2 pieces of eight each from Honest Jimmy at Trouble Brewing.
  15. Splashing combat spells is a really bad idea. Waste of money for slow xp. You can do so much better. If you're going to splash, you should be splashing soul rune spells, and your magic level isn't high enough for that anyway.
  16. No, don't try those. They're horrible moneymakers. :wall: Yep now maybe if sharks were 1k+ like they were back in the day Then it would still be a horrible moneymaker. Sharks were like 1.4k a while back. Still not good cash.
  17. Common response to bonus xp weekend: My response: Not just because I'm an avid herb farmer. A lot of people don't think about how important it is that prices rise in a period of increased demand. If you think it's hard to buy herbs now, imagine how hard it would be if the price couldn't go up along with the rising quantity demanded. Law of supply, people. Also, if you didn't figure it out already, it would be a good idea to farm your butt off for a few weeks, because herbs are not likely to get any less profitable anytime soon.
  18. It's always best to do quests as soon as possible and start reaping the benefits now rather than later. You'll end up doing it eventually and it isn't getting any easier, so you might as well do it now--it'll take the same amount of time to do, but you'll get the rewards for a longer period of time (and therefore get more rewards overall).
  19. Of course there are people who raid Daemonheim for fun. It's the sort of thing you really need to do with a group of friends, not a W117 random team.
  20. Prossy top + sw cape: +20 prayer (10) Prossy top + ardy 3: +14 prayer, +6 stab (8.5) Prossy top + fire cape: +10 prayer, +1 stab, +4 strength (9.25) Torso + sw cape: +12 prayer, +4 strength (10) Torso + ardy 3: +6 prayer, +6 stab, +4 strength (8.5) Torso + fire cape: +2 prayer, +1 stab, +8 strength (9.25) (Strength is 1, prayer is .5, stab is .25.) Note that this method is quite inaccurate but it's fun (to me) to use :P. Either way ardy 3 seems to end really low. I think you're undervaluing the stab bonus. I'd value stab at more like .75 on steels and .5 on irons, at least.
  21. No, don't try those. They're horrible moneymakers. :wall:
  22. I'm pretty sure swordfish are better nowadays. Generally, though, they're pretty close in both profit and xp and they fluctuate all the time, so it shouldn't be a big deal if you end up picking the wrong one...although I'll warn you, neither is all that good for profit even in F2P, so don't get your expectations too high. That's a pretty egregious misspelling of Karamja there, by the way.
  23. You don't need the farming level to unlock fairy rings. You only need to do the quest partway, which only requires completion of the previous quest.
  24. no, anything gained from lamps, penguins, Circus or other methods similar to this like PC or SW does not get the bonus. Circus worked last time.
  25. You should do battlestaves as well. They're much more efficient for xp. Somewhat limited, but definitely worth it.
