What Studio says: first come first serve. What Troacctid says: not that. Now who is right? I am. Obviously. :ugeek:

Just got a blue dragon mask from clue.
Sell your dragon masks now. Everyone knows they'll crash at some point or other. No point waiting; might as well hop on the price rise while you still can, if you still can.

Uh, yeah. That's my whole point. If you don't accept that being there first gives you an exclusive claim to the spot, which I don't, then arguments against crashing work both ways because neither player has more right to be there than the other. If you do think being there first gives you an exclusive claim to the spot, then, well, you're wrong.

Is something wrong with the pathfinding?
This is actually the best argument I've heard for WASD controls. And I didn't even realize I was making it. =P~

*shrug* Again, you can just as easily say "What if Player B had already been hopping for 5 minutes?" It still boils down to both players having an equal opportunity to choose whether they want to stay and fight or leave and try a different world.

I could just as well point out that Player A has had their kills and it's time for them to give Player B a turn. Because there's enough spawns for two people, presumably. :ugeek:

3 minutes will affect either player equally. If it's so easy, then you hop. I don't boss hunt often and I've never been crashed personally. All I'm saying is that, some of the crashers here are claiming they hate having to crash, but they do so out of necessity for a spot (especially at Bandos). Just show some courtesy and attempt to hop, that's all I ask. The players being crashed had to find an open world already (thus already spent the 3+ minutes looking), so why can't you? Crashing as a last resort is fine. Crashing just to be a [bleep] or because you "need" MAX gp/hr, not so much. Okay then, you show some courtesy to me and hop when I get there if that's what you think. If you were willing to spend all that time searching around, I trust you're willing to do it again. Why is it rude to crash, but not rude to stay when someone crashes you? Seems like a double standard to me.

A zero sum game is worse than a situation with positive net gains. Irrefutably wrong. Crashing is efficient, and for some people crashing is fun. You cannot deny this. No, we are not justifying them regardless of the negative effects. We are justifying them despite them, because the gains outweigh the losses. No one denies that when a 138 crashes a 110, the 110 incurs losses. Obviously you don't know what it is, because it definitely has bearing on the comparison you drew between account hacking/scamming and crashing. Okay here's your big point, which is wrong. I do not crash people at spirit mages, zamorak, solo saradomin, solo armadyl, etc. I hop worlds. I crash(ed) (technically I don't do bandos anymore, but if I were to do it I WOULD crash no doubt) because IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AN OPEN WORLD THERE WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND. No one has argued that crashing anywhere any time is a good thing.[/hide] Oh, and I don't believe in morality or whatever you want to call that [cabbage] that your god wrote down for you. You've got to stop feeding the troll, dude. This basically sums it up for me. I don't see why people think being at a boss first gives you a right to it.

What's greedy is believing you have a right to a world all for yourself just because you got there first. It's a public space. You have no more claim to it than anyone else.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
How about this? Boss rooms are public areas. If I'm killing the KBD and you walk in to do the same, you have just as much right to be there as I do, and I will respect that right and expect you to do the same for me. It doesn't matter who was there first. We're both here now, and either one of us has the right to choose whether or not to hop worlds. I will respect that right as well and expect you to do the same for me. If you don't want to hop, and I don't want to hop, then I guess we're fighting for that KBD spawn, and it's your decision as much as mine. That's that.

[DevBlog] Hit Marks: Damage Control
I just hope they identify slash, stab, and crush damage. Knowing definitively which monsters crush and which ones slash or stab would make chainmail (and BCP) much more useful.

House rebuilding
What I did to train prayer was build a separate garden and a separate chapel and move the portal there.

Fishing 81-90
Fly fishing is in the 40k xp/hr range. Heavy rod is in the 50k xp/hr range (not including the bonus agility and strength xp) although I've heard reports of higher or lower rates--it varies a bit more than other methods because some people drop faster than others.

Gargoyles
Pretty sure that's just for black demons. And it was because of a bug, which has since been fixed, that caused different varieties of black demons to have different charm drop rates. The CT ones dropped more because they were all the red-eyed kind that dropped the most charms; red-eyed ones in other locations had the same drop rate.

Farming
1. If you plant maples or higher for your trees, then there's no reason to plant anything below coconuts for fruit trees. Otherwise, willows and whatever fruit tree you like, plus calquats. 2. Don't pay for yews. Anything else, sure. 3. Calquats, yes. Jade vine, yes. Cactus yes, but just pick the spines and don't replant. Belladonna and evil turnip, no. 4. Get access to Trollheim patch and always plant snapdragon or torstol there. In all the other patches, either snaps or avantoes, your choice. Work towards a scroll of life, and switch to the more expensive seeds all the time once you get it. 5. Poison ivy is worth planting in the patches you can quickly access. If you don't have the spirit tree on Etceteria or Rimmington tabs, you can just skip those patches and only do the Ardougne monastery and Champ's Guild. White berries, meh, not quite as good, but it's your call. You're nearly 70 anyway.

Banshee's
Banshees are reasonable profit because of their herb and pure essence drops. Kill them with a macaw and bank with slayer rings. I don't know whether whoever referred you to them meant regular or mighty, but both are okay options. Regular banshees are pretty weak for xp and mighty banshees are so-so.

FOG fishing gloves?
Swordfish would be about 26k xp/hr at your level sans gloves, or 40k xp/hr with gloves. Something in the range of 100kish gp/hr. Roundabouts.

Master Penance Horn Mining
In order for it to be faster than actual mining, you need a competent team. That means not using crappy W6 losers who quit in the middle of a round and make it impossible to finish the queen kill. Get together a group of friends, find a BA clan to join, or start your own. Also, PM me if I'm online and I'll join you. I still need to level up some of my roles.

Piety and Slayer
Every dose gets increased by a flat 1 for all levels. No. It's 1-3 depending on your level. I just don't remember the cutoffs.

Gloves of Silence
They degrade when you get caught, don't they?

Is something wrong with the pathfinding?
I was doing the latest quest (I'll probably post a review of it at some point), and I noticed my character was having some trouble maneuvering around objects properly: It was particularly pronounced during the barrel puzzle, but I've seen it elsewhere too. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

P2P -> F2P
No, not really. They're pretty much useless in every way. You could chop them, but then again, you could also mine silver, or fish for herrings, or smith steel longswords. :geek: Not if you cut em and burn immidieately No, even if you do that they're terrible. Try it, then try chopping/burning the willows right next to them. The willows will be faster in both skills by a very noticeable margin.
