No, not really. They're pretty much useless in every way. You could chop them, but then again, you could also mine silver, or fish for herrings, or smith steel longswords. :geek:

Don't cut yews for woodcutting; they're too slow. Just stick to willows. Don't mine coal either. For fishing/cooking, you're better off at trout/salmon, which should be faster xp for both skills. For firemaking, you can expect to burn ~1200 logs/hr, give or take.
  3. Depends on your prayer level and the drops of the monster in question. For example, you're not missing much in that inventory slot if you're fighting black demons, but it's definitely not worth it at abby specs. And of course it adds more additional prayer points after a certain prayer level...what was it again? 80-something to get 3 additional prayer points per dose with holy wrench? I'm not sure.
  4. Eh, I don't know how good it is if you get stuck on a difficult task before you have access to good equipment. Or if you have to use a weak slayer master because you're trying to avoid getting stuck on a difficult task before you have access to good equipment. In the long run it's the best, sure, once you're using Kuradal and getting all sorts of awesome tasks, but it's considerably worse when Vannaka is assigning you shades and crocodiles. But I guess you have to start somewhere.
  5. Yeah, you could spend that money on anything! Even a fury! :-o

Yes, it's worth it. By far the best familiar to use at spectres. You will make shorter trips, but the profit will be much better anyway.
  7. Farming, Miscellania, dailies...that's how I got it anyway. Took a few weeks, admittedly. There are no legal ways of doing this.
  8. You get more magic xp without defensive casting.
  9. Farm herbs and do quests. The quests don't actually make you money, but they set you up to make hella money in the future, which is even better tbh.
  10. That was uncalled for.
  11. As far as upgrades go, Bandos Chestplate is one of the low-tier ones. The boost it offers is pretty marginal compared to barrows, whereas something like piety or a fury ammy gives a much more significant boost.
  12. Oh, absolutely. The fury is the all-around best amulet in the game, but if it's between that and piety, you want the 70 prayer.
  13. Watch Youtube videos of people fighting Jad. Have Runescape open in another window. Stand by a prayer altar and practice prayer switching along with the video. Practice fighting the healers along with the video as well by shooting nearby enemies in between prayer switches. (The Ardougne Monastery works fine for this purpose.)
  14. It would probably help to stop doing those. Keep up your farming/dailies/MTK, and start merchanting with your cash.
  15. Right, the Super Barrow Bros. have such low magic defense that you really don't need magic attack. Presumably you use your ring slot for teleports.
  16. Well the easy way to test would be to go in a members' world and kill some with F2P gear + regular dragon scimitar.
  17. Really the best way is to kill something that's worthwhile even if you don't get awesome clue drops. That way even if your clues suck you still have something to show for it. So slayer tasks, mith drags, KBD, Bork, Skeletal Horror...I'd think definitely not bronze, iron, or steel dragons unless you have them as a task. Or I guess you could cannon them, which still wouldn't be efficient, but at least it would be rockin' hardcore.
  18. I believe a couple of the new teleport scrolls (Miscellania and maybe Phoenix Lair) are faster than using a glory. Slayer rings are still the best, though.
  19. Disagree. It's obviously better to range, say, fire giants when you have a full slayer helm bonus. And lots of tasks in Kuradal's dungeon are very efficient to kill with knives or darts, plus you can chin the nechryael tasks. And of course the cannoning. Anyway, don't forget that you'll need to invest part of your budget on a Zammy Spear for waterfiends.
  20. Herb farming. And Miscellania. Other than that, just develop your character in places that don't require sinking lots of money, such as quests. Character development is more important than gp, and it puts you in a better position to earn money in the future.
  21. If I recall correctly, you simply need to be able to do all but one of the subquests. It doesn't matter which one you leave out.
  22. Confused barbarians drop mangled bones 100%, so go with that.
  23. Yeah it would be easier to list the ones that aren't worth doing. Which is...Rat Catchers, and...well, that's mostly it IMO. The other ones that have weak rewards are usually Monk's Friend or Clocktower or Doric's Quest sorts of affairs that are basically quick and easy quest points. I guess the Elemental Workshop quests are a bit of a hassle (good xp on the first two though).

Finish RFD and get better gloves. Or if not, use a regen brace, it's better than mith gloves.
  25. Just filter your quest list, check the combat requirements, and do all the ones you're confident you can do. It's hard to go wrong just doing all the quests you can--most of them are useful in some way.
