Try to Stump Us!
Okay I got one! 1. Fishing is used to catch fish. 2. Cooking is used to cook fish. 3. Cooked fish are uncooked on Evil Bob's Island. 4. Evil Bob's Island is a random event. 5. Random events give gift boxes. 6. "The Gift" is a film starring Kevin Bacon!

Twelve Titan Labours
Oh ye of little faith. Look it up on Youtube. You can find videos of Jad being knocked out with flowers, as well as with wind strike and with rings of recoil no food, which make flowers look like a cakewalk. I'm sure there's others as well.

Quick farming question
Logically thinking yes. There are farmers who you can buy their services for who will look after your crops. It makes you wonder what their farming level is and if they actually have to ever cure your plants when your not around. There is a difference in alloitments as mentioned though, as I remember at level 20 or so in farming I was always having to cure. Now at 66 I rarely have to cure, they either die or grow. If they die, it means you needed to cure them and you didn't...

Usefulness of Compost
But if you have a huge abundance of supercompost (I can get much more than 40 a day), then I might as well be using them on allotments. You could sell your extra supercompost on the GE.

Mother Gaia: An In-Depth Manual to Farming
RS Wiki's calculator isn't very good. Gp/xp is worthless (ranarr has a high gp/xp because it gives crappy xp) and 6 herbs is too low. That's why I made my own.

Quick way to lower farming level?
I'm pretty sure nothing is around to do this for you in between herb patches. Perhaps you should lobby Jagex in the Suggestions forums to remove the restriction on the familiar. In the meantime, try switching to lantadyme for all but one patch.

Jagex portraying Runescape as ONLY a free game?
The popularity of the members' game is a direct result of the popularity of the free game. Why shouldn't Jagex advertise that Runescape is completely free? It is. There's no obligation to pay for it--you won't access the premium content, but it's not like World of Warcraft and such where you have a 10-day free demo and that's it; you can play the free game as long as you want and level up as much as you like within it, with full access to all the features available in f2p. When p2p was first introduced way back when, it was introduced from the beginning as an expansion to the original game. And being the most popular free game in the world is absolutely something they can and should be proud of. You could argue that it's misleading to advertise that it's both completely free and has over 150 quests plus regular content updates, though, since you only get those once you upgrade.

Twelve Titan Labours
Which tree spot is this? It was a bug that has since been removed.

ranarr seeds
Or it's random chance. Occam's Razor.

Pet in ape atoll
No familiars allowed on the course, sorry. They should probably fix that--it's rather unnecessary, I think.

ranarr seeds
Or you could just, y'know, go to the GE and buy some. They're very easy to buy and sell, unless some merch clan is messing with them or something, in which case all you have to do is switch to snapdragon or toadflax or avantoe for a couple days. *shrug*

What is junk?
The point of junk is that every tradable item has a GE value, regardless of how useless it is. So let's say you just got a whole bunch of cooking done and you have lots of burnt fish. Those burnt fish maybe have a value of 1 gp. Useless, right? But because they have no value, you can add them onto your end of the trade to effectively raise the other guy's trade limit and allow him to pay you more for your items, and you won't be giving up much to do it. The problem is that once you start to go out of your way to get junk items, they lose their value, because you might as well go get real gp with your time. Actually creating junk like unstrung longbows for the purpose of using it in junk trades is a colossal waste of time. The only effective way of getting junk is either obtaining it by accident as a byproduct of skill training--e.g. unstrung maple longbows from training fletching to 70--or getting it from somebody else in a junk trade. So if you want junk, do a junk trade to buy something that's underpriced in the GE, and be content in the knowledge that you'll be able to sell the junk right back afterwards.

Firemaking Useless
Such requirements are contrived uses for a skill that adds nothing of interest to the game. I mean, we could have a digging skill to use high-level spades and help at Barrows and the Giant Mole and (I guess) the Digsite. You need to do a lot of digging in Runescape too. Doesn't mean you need to gain digging experience in order to use a Dragon Spade at level 60 digging. Now, if we could light things like weapons and arrows with firemaking, then maybe we'd be somewhere. The hand cannon is an honest effort, but a failure nonetheless.

Firemaking Useless
Yew and magic log prices are primarily based in fletching and the prices of bowstrings and nature runes. Maple and eucalyptus logs are the ones that would be affected, and maple logs were crap to begin with. Eucalyptus logs are a relatively recent addition to the game and, while they're nice, I don't think they'd be missed all that much. Honestly, woodcutting for money is already obsolete. You can't even break 200k gp/hr.

Fishing Money Making
Cavefish > Lobster. You could probably make roundabouts 200k gp/hr off sharks (give or take), which is so-so. If I were you I'd catch monkfish so that you can switch to rocktails sooner--rocktails are significantly better than sharks and it'll take ages to get there if your xp is coming from shark fishing. Or you could use fishing potions, but that's a little impractical without a way to withdraw new ones from the bank.

Woodcutting 90-99?
Mentioned three times already.
-
willows xp per hour?
That's pretty generous. 45-50k xp/hr would be a better figure. A little less if you take into account the crowds that are always around f2p Draynor.
-
Woodcutting 90-99?
Where is the best location to chop eucalyptus logs? and is it quicker xp than yews? The best, and only place to cut them, is near the ogress city of Oo'glog and Mobilizing Armies. You can cut there and then bank. Eucs come in at about the same speed of Yews yet they fecth more exp. And the profit there isn't all that bad. About 25% faster than yews, actually, which makes them superior money as well as superior xp. Roundabouts 300 logs/hr, which is 50k xp/hr and I don't know how much money but you can figure that out easily. If you prefer fast xp, the sawmill (with a crystal saw) is a better option, so before you rush to ivy for fast experience I suggest you give the sawmill a shot; if you really don't like it there, then go ahead and switch to ivy.

Usefulness of Compost
I use regular compost in place of plant cures (since you can't store plant cures with a tool leprechaun). When I catch my herbs diseased, I withdraw some from the tool leprechaun, sell them to the farming store, and use the gp to buy a plant cure.

Firemaking Useless
Smithing makes armour to fight with and crafting makes the jewelery you wear. Firemaking was meant to be a gold sink. Once you burn the log, there's no way to profit or get it back. This way is stabilizes the economy. It's not a gold sink; it's log sink. The gold doesn't leave the system. It only changes hands. Unless you buy your logs in a store, I suppose, but that's kind of silly.

Will Zaros Bring the Balance Back?
I tend to think of Zaros as having no good/evil alignment at all. Sort of a "I don't give a flying cabbage about your little morality cabbage--just do my bidding when I ask you and you can do whatever the cabbage you feel like doing with your free time." attitude. With Saradomin, you're not allowed to be evil. With Zamorak, you're not allowed to be good. With Guthix, you need to be baanced. Zaros, on the other hand, couldn't care less--he just looks out for number one and doesn't expect any different of others. That's my impression anyway. A sort of Machiavellian philosophy that's more concerned with power than with good or evil.

Twelve Titan Labours
Just found that on Youtube...wow...the Jad fight takes over half an hour. That's insanely difficult and tedious.

Why logs r rising in this week?
