  1. Honestly - i love you! Quote of the year: "Do a 99 because you love it." Don't get a 99 because you just want a skill cape......That's what is wrong with people!!!! Do it because you love it! How about "Stay on topic"? Yeesh. Anyway, a week is unreasonable. Cooking isn't that fast. Sharks are a pretty efficient method for training, though, so those are probably your best bet. Also, I would add that Thieving is about equal in speed with cooking and costs no money to train at all, and the cape (trimmed) looks a lot cooler IMO.
  2. That would be just animation lag; you aren't really stopping, you just look like you are, and the game is still tracking you correctly. Same thing happens with the Explorer's Ring run restoration, for example.
  3. If this is the case, why didn't people train here before? Some people did. I've seen people killing them the few times I caught rocktails/cavefish. They were pretty decent monsters to kill from the start, really, I suppose that people just didn't know it.
  4. Zamorak did the stabbing thing with Zaros before the God Wars. He was already gone; it was just his followers. no no no, see my point is zamorak was willing to fight against zaros. it seems so was Saradomin, and even some of the desert gods felt up to the challenge. However no one wanted to mess with Guthix when he got pissed off. Even with his new Godly powers Zamorak was like "oh ok well i'll just go play over here then shall i?" What i'm saying is they fought Zaros, but they fear Guthix. Remember that Zamorak is believed to have been in possession of the Stone of Jas around the time he challenged Zaros. We don't really know what happened to it afterwards; it's not likely that he still had it by the time Guthix woke up again.

  6. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Potions http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Unfinished_potions ^ Gp/xp rates for all tradable potions. If you're lucky, you may be able to get your hands on some unfinished lantadyme or dwarf weed potions--they're actually cheaper than the herbs right now, and making them into range/antifire potions would be the most efficient way to train for you if it were possible to buy them; however, as you lose significant amounts of money making them into unf pots, good luck trying to buy any. Range pots are still good buying the clean dwarf weed, so try those for now, but keep an eye on the market in case things change. Harralander tar is viable as well, although slower for xp. You can also make profits cleaning grimy herbs and reselling clean--Lantadyme and Avantoe are some good ones for that right now. Again, it changes frequently, so keep up with the prices. Link: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Herbs Of course, your cash pile is big enough to start with that you probably won't find that necessary.
  7. I'd add Karil's top & bottom for waterfiends and such.
  8. The strikers will range you, so I don't think that would be very effective...
  9. They're ridiculously close to a teleport, so it doesn't matter if you need to leave and come back. You can speed up the task by using a combat familiar and food instead of a bunyip and Guthan's and not worrying about whether you have to make a second trip. I wouldn't be quick to block either one, as they're pretty fast experience and decent money. Living rocks are probably better for xp and profit, but terror dog tasks are smaller.
  10. You can also run straight across one trap in a straight line as long as you stop directly in front of it first.
  11. Hellhounds were already fairly fast xp, and now they're even faster with the ferocious ring. (Sans cannon anyway.) So they may be unblocking, although their drops are still crap. If you're switching to Kuradal you can unblock warped t'birds as well, since she doesn't assign them. Black demons were actually a pretty nice task already--good xp and good charms, if potentially tedious and not profitable. So you could unblock those too. I'm not a big fan of dragon tasks, but the last two updates have been kind to steels, so if you were mainly put off by the inconvenience and crowding of Brimhaven Dungeon, you could unblock them too. I don't know yet if the ferocious ring makes them a whole lot better, although your agility level is too low for the shortcuts, which is a shame. If it were me, I'd probably block hellhounds and kalphites and maybe suqahs even though they're fast xp, just because they're lame; and steel dragons, because I don't really like them. None of Kuradal's tasks are really all that bad that you have to ban them though.
  12. Well, back in 2007 right before they implemented it, they did give a good month or so's warning to return lent items and stuff, which is a similar sort of thing.
  13. That's pretty impressive. Were you mining them?
  14. You can cheat on traps. If you stand one space in front of the trap and then run past it, you can get by one trap at a time without having to disarm it. If you make good use of this trick, you can get through the whole maze easily without draining your thieving by more than about 2 points. Pretty sure it's always been 50. A higher agility is recommended though, so that you can run through the maze without stopping to walk. (If it's not high enough, the Oo'glog sal[bleep]er spring is nice.)
  15. Correct. You simply need to kill monsters in the Fight Caves. If you die or quit before reaching Jad, you won't need to fight him at all. Intresting, do they have to be from the fight cave or can they be other tzhaars? They can be other TzHaars normally, but if you extend the task they have to be from the Fight Caves.

  17. Totally inaccurate actually; there are multiple methods of training magic that earn you many millions in profit over that 13m xp.
  18. Zaros gravestone from Keldagrim: Exact same grave.
  19. If the egg is a different color, then the raven is a different color as well.
  20. Ha, I was just reading Time Magazine and right in the front is a six-page ad for some drug about bipolar depression. There's a full-page picture of a sad-looking woman with the caption, "Bipolar depression doesn't just affect you. IT CAN CONSUME YOU." Then it literally goes on for FIVE PAGES of fine print telling you that it "may induce orthostatic hypotension associated with dizziness, techycardia, and in some patients, syncope, especially during the initial dose-titration period, probably reflecting its α1-adrenergic antagonist properties." I'm not exaggerating. That's a direct quote. By the way, you know you have a serious mental problem when you think you have a serious mental problem and you not only ask the internets for advice, but go to a video game fansite to do it. Just sayin'.
  21. With a dragon hatchet and piety, the time sort of varies based on how hard you hit with the spec, but even on a zero it goes down fast, especially if you sip a pure set beforehand.
  22. I've never tried it without a dragon axe, but I imagine it would still be pretty good, just not quite as good. It does give a lot of xp.
  23. Sand, flax, phoenix, and skeletal horror are daily/weekly, but they aren't really worth the time considering the fairly low rewards. You shouldn't bother doing them except for fun, if you want the phoenix pet, or if you're already in the neighborhood of Bert/Flax. Pure essence isn't so great either, but it's a little better because the jade vine is worth doing, so you're likely to be nearby already. I consider farming to be a daily chore thing as well. Herb farming is the best, followed by coconut/papaya picking, followed by white berries/poison ivy...and of course cactus spines. Might as well do all of them, and use a giant ent for extra yield. (Wolpertinger on bushes if you can.) The Catherby fruit patch isn't near a teleport, but it is near the herb patch that you might already be visiting, and it's just a boat ride away from Brimhaven's fruit patch if you went to that one first.
  24. It wouldn't totally kill them, but it would cut into them, and it would definitely slow you down as well because of the extra loading time. So yeah, a real glory is definitely superior. I recommend stocking up on some extra glories so that you don't run out of charges as quickly, then selling uncharged and buying charged when you run out of charges. You should use up about 20 charges per hour if you're not using a beast of burden. Although you really should do Heroes Quest.
  25. Run there with an air staff and cosmic runes, cast the spell on the obelisk, click charge-all, wait for them to charge, glory back to Edgeville, bank, and repeat. That should get you about 540 orbs charged per hour. It's possible to get more with a beast of burden, although that requires more attention and precision.
