  1. It depends what package you have with them. What speed/how much bandwidth are you paying for?
  2. Welcome to tip.it!
  3. Phone wise - I'm happy with what I have currently.
  4. No one word/picture only posts please :)
  5. This, plus if she's having a go at you over nothing there's probably something else going on. Certainly don't ignore her.
  6. Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite pro. It's a few years old now and therefore a bit slow but I've had no problems with it (other then the jack for the power cord being a bit loose, to no further effect). Desktop I put together myself, a couple faulty parts but other than that ok.
  7. I don't like the concept at all to be honest. It's cool, but severely flawed.
  8. This'll be looked at, thanks for the heads up. Locking in the mean time as people obviously can't resist free post count.
  9. So I take it you've never ignored a biological urge? We're getting terribly OT here btw, pm me if you wish to continue in this vein...
  10. If it isn't biology then what is it? Love is emotions, feelings (biological and otherwise), and conscious decisions.
  11. Absolutely. Infatuation, sure...sexual attraction, sure. Love is far more complicated than that.
  12. They love each other, but they are no longer "in love" with each other. There is a big difference. I'm glad you think you have the authority to decide when people are and aren't in love.
  13. No they haven't? lol Dunno about pvp, but in pve they can crank out some insane dps if played well. I suppose you were only referring to pvp though...
  14. Ahh yes, so that explains why millions of couples stay together for 70 years and are still in love, right?
  15. Where we went to school had absolutely nothing to do with our relationship. We met freshman year in highschool, way before college was even in our minds. And in the end, we chose colleges that were the best for us both not because we wanted to, but because it was necessary. His was in the opposite direction of mine by about 2 hrs. What exactly are you trying to prove here Gabe? I am merely trying to establish a background and to see whether or not a relationship effected your decisions about the future. You maybe be one of the lucky few who in the end in actually works out, but in reality, most of the time it's just big talk and being blinded by lust which consumes the young mind into pondering about elements you're not even going to apprehend yet. My best friend and his girlfriend met in high school, went to far away separate colleges, graduated a couple of years ago, and are still dating. They're getting married as soon as he can afford the ring. Love is "just hormones" regardless of your age and prior experiences, btw. I did say there were exceptions. However I disagree with your second statement. In my eyes, love is the compassion and knowledge that you will want to spend the rest of your life with that person, through the good or bad. It is very rare to be able to tell at such a young age whether or not you can do it, but there are exceptional people who can. Kudos to those people. Yeah lust may be just hormones, but love is not. Love is being able to see, accept and respect someone for who they truly are. To appreciate the great things about someone as well as their flaws. etc. etc. Love is about knowing someone and the things you share with them, not the way your body is attracted to someone (which would be lust, and thus hormones). You're referring to what is known as "compassionate love," and it is also hormones; it's just that they increase over time, as opposed to the "passionate love" hormones which die out after about 2 years. Lol this garbage again. Try being in a long term relationship and tell me that love can be simplified to "just hormones".
  16. That was a good one. Will watch Inception again tonight methinks...
  17. I have to agree with sees_all that when somebody has a gun out and is firing it the intent doesn't matter - at that time, they haven't voided their rights, but in the interest of the safety of others shooting to kill is permissible. I disagree with both the american gun laws brought up here - I agree with sees_all that the "no guns within 1k of the school" is stupid - as it prevents the law-abiding citizens but not the criminals. However, if guns were harder to get we wouldn't even get to that point in the first place.
  18. Aha that's epic :D
  19. Feral druids have always been OP if they're played correctly iirc. I'm planning on rolling an affliction/destro worgen lock for pvp (altready started it, like lvl 11 lmao). I'll get it to 85 once I max my pally (5 mil to go)
  20. They did well until that terrible minute lol... I can't figure out Giguere. Some great stops that game but several of those goals he let in were pretty weak (although gustavsson's was weak as well)
  21. If you have any doubts as to the validity of the votes feel free to cc a member of the clan staff on the pm (must start from personal messenger to add recipients). Your opinions on other things to vote for are of course welcome, however baseless criticism is not ;)
  22. Well that's essentially what happens to Harry. [spoiler=Spoilers!]Voldemort returns, taking away his childhood and replacing it with increasingly darker times. I actually thought the books got better as the series progressed with OotP being one of my favourites due to it being the turning point between a "lighter" and "darker" world. Basically this - the innocence in the first ones deserts the stage quickly - although the first couple are hardly violence free.
  23. Do I get to vote? :D
  24. CWA has it's advantages, but you can't beat the overall experience of pvp. I kind of like the fact that you can be crashed; it makes everything more exciting. I also like the fact that people can watch from up close.
  25. Picture B looks like Bill Gates :D
