  1. This, but also you need to think as if a spammer got access to an account. A spambot with no flood limit can wreak havoc on boards. Having the flood limit by default makes it easy for mods to keep up.
  2. I agree with you, it was a long time ago and nothing became of it. If he was fine until she told him the truth, he should be fine with it afterward. Its a little awkward to hear that, yes. But nothings really changed, so nothing should change between them. Agreed, at least she came out with it, maybe if he would have found out indirectly it would have been different. If she kept a secret like that from him so easily for an entire year, with no guilty conscience? I'd break up, personally.
  3. Well, it depends what kind of vulnerabilities it has. Still, you shouldn't be attempting to compromise anything. See if they have a contact email or support form, that's probably your best bet. If that doesn't work, you're probably out of luck.
  4. Unfortunately that's not quite true. Browsers will save passwords, cookies, and cache webpages for quite some time, but if it's been a while it's probably been deleted by now. Anything uploaded to the internet "never" disappears is a bit misleading - things are delete-able off the internet very easily - the thing is that things uploaded to the internet tend to get around, people make their own copies which are impossible to find, that's how that phrase came about. Your password is certainly still "on the internet". It should be stored in the database this website uses; thing is you can't get to it.
  5. Aha I <3 my pally :) I never use anything other than the 50% bubble in pvp though, it's not as cheap.
  6. Would need to know this. Most sites/applications that need a password have some way to recover it, usually by email or recovery questions.
  7. I may stop by the IRC. Could you post the server and channel name for those people in love with MIRC? Not that I'm one of them...
  8. Glad to be back, congrats guys as well :)
  9. Apparently a tanker has run aground up in the Canadian artic as well. It's not leaking though, nor is it even an oil tanker, so it's probably ok. OT: Weird coincidence, for sure. They say there's nothing leaking....yet.

Well, there enabled now and there is thousands of possible questions. There has been decent discussion value so far, I don't understand why you have to post an attack on the thread. It's not an attack, it's a legitimate question. As ALG said(forget his display name atm) topics tend to become made that are just for the purpose of the poll, which in turn stifles discussion. I don't think there's a better example than this topic, which is basically a gigantic survey.

I thought stuff like this was the reason polls were disabled in the first place? You'll probably run out of good poll ideas in a week, but whatever. Also, polls should be private.
  12. It's rude to stare, no matter how revealing the shirts. That said, it is natural for guys to stare at boobs, and I have no pity for girls who wear plunging v-necks and booty shorts and then get disgusted by starers.
  13. You could just report the user in question instead of making a whole new topic :P
  14. Yet another request for a coding change to the forum that the admins don't have time to implement. Don't want to see it? Don't click it. Alternatively, make a suggestion on IPB's forums to change it in the future.
  15. Welcome back, TWR has changed significantly since you've been gone so I'm curious to see how you guys do :)
  16. As do we, as well as several crew members. The issue isn't that it's impossible to do - the issue is rather that they way IPB handles flood control, the changes requested would require significant modification, which would take more time then the very few, volunteer coders on staff have at their disposal. I'm not aware of IPB's terms of service, but it's also possible that extensive modifications void the license terms and therefore IPB would cut off support. I don't know if that's actually the case though.
  17. Yeah, vista SP1 is ok. I've still noticed significant speed difference between it and windows 7, but maybe that's just me. I also prefer the way the interface looks.
  18. Mostly pvp stuff would be my preference. However, as I've said before, as honorable as your intentions may be, I can't see people wanting to hunt bots more than once a year.
  19. I remember there being an announcement on the main page about a warhammer 40k skin that I thought looked epic. I haven't managed to find it since then though :(
  20. Didn't they change the name to something other than Cordoba house? And as pointed out several times, there's another mosque closer.
  21. I'd recommend netbeans, it's really a great IDE.
  22. Good luck, hopefully you'll last a while :)
  23. If he said it can't be changed, I think we can assume that there are no mods for it.
  24. Mining light, perhaps?
