  1. I actually read another one of his articles that was linked to in that one - about the often self-destructive behavior practiced by blacks today. It was quite interesting.
  2. No, if you are going to install 64bit then that is a bad idea, even if you stuck with 32bit it's a bad idea because the programs may not work. Installing 64 bit doubles the chance of of them not working as they may not even have 64 bit drivers.. Out of interest why are you installing 64bit windows, although now days most programs & components have 64bit drivers/versions it is just easier to stick with 32bit if you don't need to upgrade. 32bit can read upto 4GB of RAM, the only reason I use 64bit at all is because I have 6GB's of RAM. 3gb. Not 4.
  3. That's the tip.it theme. EDIT: 6 days later, I realize you were asking about his firefox theme, not his forum theme
  4. I don't think clans "have" to pvp. CWA has several advantages - mainly a stricter rule set, leading to a more definite outcome, privacy (preventing crashing) and of course the obvious benefit of not wasting rune. Unfortunately, if a clan wants to be truly considered "serious" by the top 10 elite, they basically have to pvp. As much as I feel this is unfortunate, it is undeniable that pvp fights end up being a showcase of dedication, which is what separates the top ten from the lower clans in the first place.
  5. It isn't the number of people it is what they are doing on the connection. Even that, it isn't a huge amount. In terms of amount of transmission, it's not over 25gb a month.
  6. I agree, that would definitely be helpful. However, the admins are very busy and implementing something like that, while not the hardest thing in the world, would take some doing.
  7. Congrats man :)
  8. Huh, nice to see those. I don't use vb.net much aside from at work but I'll remember this. Thanks :)
  9. You're going to need to be a lot more specific....What exactly will be on this report? How long will it be? How often will it be generated? What will be done with it once it is generated?
  10. Nice pull, pity you had to drop so much..

Wow, nice job CR :) I think that's the first time I've heard of MMA doing an uncapped..but maybe that's just me.

Terribly awkward. We'd just started dating, and we were watching tv...and just kind of started making out. Got significantly better since then, thank God.
  13. I think that's more of an objective opinion, I never found IPB easier to use in any way, but obviously I don't need to do much with it :P Well as an example, forum permissions in phpBB are a NIGHTMARE. I mean once you get used to it they're easy enough to do, but compared to IPB they're a royal pain. In general IPB's ACP is much more efficient and user friendly. I won't claim to have intricate knowledge of the IPB ACP (I played around with it on a test forum for around 15 minutes) but it struck me as being oversimplified, and that actually getting to specifics was often not as straightforward or easy as PHPBB had been. I think this can be paralleled in the "irc vs. skype" debate - a lot of its about personal preference. I'm not meaning to say IPB's bad software, I just preferred phpBB. Not like you'll change back anyway....so I don't know why I'm still posting :P

  15. But he could always of kept the admin title and just not bother to do anything? Couldn't a president just be president and not do anything for a few months? Your question answers itself...
  16. Welcome, glad to see you guys here :)
  17. Sorry to hear that, I actually really liked you guys. RIP :(
  18. Let's put it this way. I paid $2.50 for this game when they had the special promotion on, and I have 200 hours playtime on it. About one cent per hour I play...best money I've ever spent. Seriously, pirate something like modern warfare...not tf2.
  19. That's pretty awesome. Submarine looks epic, I wish there were pics of inside it..
  20. I assume you're referring the custom member title? If you are, that's just because he preferred to have it say something other than "administrator".
  21. Uh, it's not more reliable at all. Invision is much more customisable with the new hooks system etc.. Unless of course you have some evidence for your claims? I suppose it probably isn't more customisable its about the same but it is certaintly more reliable, PHBB doesn't rely on Javascript and doesn't have searching problems. Its also a lot simpler to use. Thankyou Racheya! Also, there is a quote limit that needs changing. There were A LOT of searching problems with phpBB. In my experience, there were even more with phpBB than we have with IPB (at least in the searching that I've done). It can be configured to work though like IPB, that is not to do with forum software. PhpBB did have search problems, like tripsis said far more than IPB. Yes, there are minor changes you can make, but nothing that made the phpBB search superior to IPB's. I will admit I find the overuse of ajax in IPB to be annoying, but to say it's reliant is a bit of a stretch. There are ways to avoid using it, it's just the default. In fact, from what I've heard, phpBB4 will use ajax at least as much as IPB does currently. I still don't see what's more "reliable" about phpBB.
  22. This. Or, you could buy little plastic tubes and attach them to the wall, and put the screws into those...that way the mobo would be off the wall by an inch or so. Like you said, it's certainly possible - dust would be an issue but other than that it's doable.
  23. It may not have been common at the time? No idea though, really...kind of ridiculous.
  24. With that beard, how could you not? :P
  25. I actually lucid dream pretty often....I never try to control what I dream about though, as the spontaneous ones are always better. I have two recurring dreams though, in the first one my house gets robbed and I get shot in the head...that's a very interesting experience. In the other one, my mom turns into some sort of vampire-werewolf thing (not the lame twilight kind, the badass kind that kills everything) and I end up killing her to save the rest of my family. Weird stuff.
