  1. Nice memberlist, good luck finding a war(s).
  2. He cannot use Firefox. And where did he say that? In his previous thread here.
  3. Obviously I'm not privileged as to the inner workings of tip.it but three admins have recently retired/stepped down and it seems logical that these promotions would be to replace them.
  4. I was expecting another(s) new admins but I was quite surprised to see it being you. Thinking about it though you've certainly been a huge asset and I'm sure you'll do a great job! Congratulations.
  5. They are the same clan now. RoT or Outlawz? Ps. 1k posts on this topic :)
  6. What I meant by case-sensitive is that most of the syntax commands have to be uppercase at the start, while most other programming languages could care less how you type them as long as the structure is correct. I guess you would notice that more if you learned another language first; Java was my first "real" language so I always just took that for granted.
  7. Telemarketers/callers like this remind me of the saying about wild animals: If you feed it once it will never leave you alone.
  8. That's a difficult question. In general I find Vent to have clearer quality and I prefer it over TS, but almost all the top clans I can think of use TS ;) So TS I suppose. DK or VR?
  9. Wow, nice :)
  10. Java is case-sensitive unlike most programming languages, which makes it a pain to program in. Of all the problems I've had with Java, that's been the least of my worries
  11. Well considering Russia is Democratic now... Though Bufoman is wrong, Russia basically is Communists in Democratic clothing. I doubt that either Russia or China would back NK, although what you say about Russia being practically communist is quite true.
  12. That's a good saying  But seriously, sometimes a leader does have to make tough calls. If the clan isn't behind the leader during times like that than they shouldn't be in the clan anyway.
  13. EST is GMT -5. That is all you need to know ;)
  14. A few pics from the mountain bike race I did last weekend: Bike: (After race) Me: (I know its edited but its the best one, gf likes photoshop too much ;) ) That was taken right after I finished - lap that usually would have taken me 1-1.5 hours took almost 3 because of the mud..
  15. Yup. No way around it now, especially for roaches.
  16. I was thinking about this earlier, and some thoughts came to mind ;) Appeasement: That's what the US/UN is doing right now. They are trying desperately to give NK as much as possible to avoid a war. That is what Britain did with Hitler but unfortunately..... When a country wants a war, appeasement doesn't work. Every story I see about NK seems to indicate that war is what they want. They want to take SK back. They want to make the US suffer. And if that really is their goal, appeasement only makes things worse. I realize that nuclear war benefits no one but there will be a time, which may come soon, where it is an inevitability. It's a delicate situation but if the US continues down this route I can't see a happy ending....
  17. Will AVG 8.5 Cut it? :ohnoes: HijackThis isn't a virus scanner in the sense of AVG 8.5. All it does is list every process currently running on your computer. It then creates a log which you give to the person who's going to check it.
  18. Nice job WG, and Joe actually didn't get koed this time, wow!
  19. What are they called now? TDM Eclipse or Triforce?
  20. I'm sure Laikrob would be glad to hear your ideas. Read the whole thing, was a nice issue. Pity there might not be issues over the summer though :(
