Honestly, I'd rather live in a world filled with dangerous lemon drop dealers than have freedom be so limited that it makes me claustrophobic. We shouldn't have to be afraid of living our normal lives - the authorities should only spend their time and energy where it's needed. Yes, I agree that in situations such as this the law doesn't work as its supposed to. But you might feel differently if you knew a pedophile who was likely to re-commit had to live 3 km from a school.

School's out here and we don't live close to each other, plus we're really too young to meet each other anywhere (both our parents are really strcit). I won't even get to see her until July :( counting down the days. Unless you are going to be able to see her very regularly I doubt it will work, unless of course you like long distance relationships.

I agree completely. It has a tendency to desensitize people to the importance of some things.

I have mixed feelings about television. On the one hand, it leads to increased communication, knowledge, has educational value, is great for keeping up with the news, etc. However, I feel that many people over-use it. I rarely watch TV more than 2 hours a week and I like it fine that way. People let their children watch a lot of tv at a young age and it kills their creativity and imagination. Of course it is also a huge factor in obesity rates etc...
