Slayer. At least try it. If you don't like it, undead monsters (ankous or something) with a salve amulet (e) are good.

I tank fine at 80 def/78 range, I use excalibur and get 34k range xp/hour and about 280k profit. Range potions help. At 75+ def, I'd recommend tanking. You may want to try both to see which one you like better.

Hi all, I've been thinking about this for a while now. My future goals will all cost quite a lot of money. Not like 130m, but 10m per skill adds up. Especially if you don't have a good moneymaker, like me. So, I'd like to make some money off Godwars. Going in a team is not really a viable option for me, as I never know when I'll be online. That leaves solo'ing, and sara seems quite easy to solo and still makes a lot of money. I know my stats are nowhere near good now, but I will try to raise them. Would these stats be good to solo Zilyana? 95 range (to 90 on aviansies, spending profit on 90-95 with chins) 90 defence (slayer) 87 or 96 mage (does it help a lot to get 96 mage?) 81 prayer (more ppoints per dose) ~93 hp 79 summoning (if I'm successful at sara I will get 88) So, are these stats okay to solo zilyana somewhat efficiently? If not, what should I improve? Also, are my training methods good? If not, can you recommend better ones? Thanks in advance

The abyss is slightly faster. Once you get 65, switch to deaths, as you can use a familiar while crafting them.

Saving them until you can use them on something useful is a good idea. Use tears of guthix / lamps to level it. Also, 82 dreadfowl pouches is 656 shards.

Range or Runecrafting.

The other 2 x cheaper option is to complete quest Family Creast and wield chaos guantlets (these allow u to hit 15 w/ fire bolt spell while fire blast hits 16) It is very similar plus it hits more often probably because it requires lower lvl to cast so you get magic advantage (I havent confirmed this,but it should be that way) That's way less magic xp. Like 40% less. Fire waving aviansies/metals Stringing amulets (expensive, about 5 gp/xp) Alching Enchanting in MTA (best done at 87+ mage) Dks/barrows (not fast but you profit)

Powermine iron. Rimmington or Al-Kharid mine are best iirc.

Mithril arrows are recommended, and even then you wouldn't get good xp. They're not really a good training option at level 70.

Seems like a good guide for f2p'ers. The members bank doesn't have 528 spaces though, the bank item counter in my bank says 219/496, the max is 496. Otherwise, good guide :thumbup:

You need 60 mining, I tried to start the quest without it and it didn't work. Not counting stews, you can only boost your mining by 2 anyway, so getting 60 is your best option.

Not a good idea. I was using a rune c'bow at 78 range with range pots, and only hit them 1/2-1/3rd of the time. You'd hit even less with knives.

I believe they drain both at the same rate, and that they drain just as fast as melee/range/mage pray. I may be wrong though :|

please tell me about some of them i would really like to know. their exp is godly .... i tested rune crosbow with addy bolts and steel darts crosbow done 54 dmg in 10 seconds darts did 67 in 10 seconds rune cbow with addy bolts = 5.4dmg/s = 21.6exp/s steel dart = 6.7dmg/s = 26.8exp/s Testing in seconds is never a good idea, it's not accurate enough. Go test with/without range pots, rune cbow/mage short/darts/knives, all for an hour on the same monster. Then you can come back and tell us which one is really faster. Also, if you're going for 99, darts are not the way to go. Aviansies to 90 or something then using the profit it buy chins is way faster.

You will. I did it with 70 def, brewed up to 84 or something and using steel skin pray. Easy, that healer did like 30 damage.

It gathers swordfish in it's own inventory. About 17 per ibis for me.
