  1. I think his point was: don't buy black (g), you'd be better off spending it on your stats. And I agree with that :P And yes, unless you're trying to be a pker, train all combat stats.
  2. Ok,that guide is helpful, but I would like someone to answer my questions certainly. Edit:I know it is popular, but is it worth the effort of making the team and taking risk since highest prices of named items those monsters drop dont make more profit than few milion coins, which is less profit than barrows to me if coin share is on Hmm, but you can easily get at least 1 or 2 of those drops a trip, more if you're experienced and have good levels. It's just more of a steady money maker, instead of relying on the occasional expensive drop at gwd or something.
  3. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=dagannoth_kings.htm A bit dated but explains everything.
  4. As long as you're not perfect, you won't get banned. Anything from randomly messing up (which you will) to talking in a clan chat will prevent Jagex from seeing you as a macroer. Just use them.
  5. It probably wont get you enough faster xp to make up for the 5-6 hours spent getting it. So, it wouldn't be efficient. But, if you ever plan on ranging stuff after 99, it wouldn't hurt to have void. It's one of those things that are just nice to have, you should decide for yourself if you want to spend 5-6 hours on that.
  6. No idea about your question, but I got 78155 mining xp at granite from 5 picks, so 16031 xp/pick.
  7. Some hat from trouble brewing?

    Metal

Whoa, awesome. My mother glued that picture to my door because I listen to metal  [hide=Dutch Picture][/hide] Did you translate it yourself? :P
  10. I'm always lowest total xp out of people with my total level
  11. In that case I'd use the 109 too, it has better useful skills as opposed to higher fletching/cooking/fishing/thieving on the 108.
  12. You're about to get gang-banged by bandos' followers?             Anyways, i was gonna say the obvious, the amount of xp qc says is left is different from the actual xp you have. Guys, you're missing the point completely. Qc actually says he needs less xp than he does. That's because he just got a hp level, and the qc text is from before he got the level.
  13. You could use the compare option on the highscores, to see which on has more higher stats.
  14. You should read the tip.it guide.
  15. Basically, you plant the best thing you can in all of your herb patches, allotment patches and tree/fruit tree patches. You'll need some farming equipment, which can be bought at a farming shop. For herbs and trees, always use supercompost on the patch before planting. Use teleports and stuff to get to the patches, and read the tip.it farming guide.
  16. At current prices, you make about 92k/run (around 80k if you don't farm cactus spines and marigolds), and one herb run takes about 6 minutes. So, for every hour spent farming snaps, you'll make 920k. You can make around the same with ranarr or toadflax.
  17. A familiar really helps too. I was mining yesterday, used 5 sc picks in 58 minutes, that got me 78k xp. That would be 40.3k xp/hour, and I was on a relatively quiet world just mining the 3 granite rocks next to each other in the north part of the mine, because the spot posted earlier in this thread was already taken. I was using a lava titan which gives a +10 (invisible) mining bonus, and using mouse keys to drop (which I really recommend). Using the spot posted earlier you would get even higher xp, and your mining level would help too.
  18. You should only train skills in f2p if they aren't more effectively trained in p2p. So, like woodcutting to 30, combat stats to 40 (not being able to access rock crabs or something doesn't really matter), fishing to 40, stuff like that.
  19. It's not true that I like to farm the most expensive fruit tree along with oaks? I suggest you read what I write before quoting it and commenting on it. I never even mentioned costs, just that it is what I like to do. Hmm, you're right. Seems pretty unlogical to me to spend more for the same xp, but whatever.
  20. I think you are making up all kinds of improbable scenario's just to prove your point now. Enlighten me, how can something be 'for the most part epic fail'? It's either epic fail or not. [/hide] I'm not creating improbable scenarios. I've done slayer and spent a lot of time training with clan mates while they do slayer tasks. I have not once seen a cannon used in any single way combat zone other than an odd person wandering in setting up firing 30 or so, doing barely any damage as others were already on the spawns then picking the cannon back up and leaving or start to train normally. I have not read any great stories or guides about cannoning in single combat as great xp or faster than normal training. All the times I've been around and seen questions asked about assorted monster its only ever been recommended by others to use a cannon in multi combat zones. Now what I'm saying is yes I can see how if you're not in the fight and a training spot is utterly deserted apart from you that cannoning in single way combat may yield decent xp, but equally I know for a fact that if anybody else is there training away it seems to make cannons useless and anyone who is using them gives up quickly. Therefore it is easy to conclude that using a cannon to train on trolls, not ice trolls just trolls, is quite likely to be unsuccessful as it would require an empty training spot and trolls are usually fairly busy but also require a specific technique that it seems is quite obscure and not widely known since most I've seen to try cannoning in these places give up whihc suggests it isn't working for them. You could have a point, but axe man jack's slayer guide (which I posted a link to) clearly states that cannoning normal trolls, even in single way combat, is faster xp than just meleeing them. You have not read any great stories or guides about cannoning in single combat as great xp or faster than normal training? What about this thread, the link I posted and hellhounds? You bring up a lot of points, but you're completely ignoring the facts. Besides, I think the OP is long done with his troll task.
  21. That's actually not true. If you farm a palm tree and an oak tree, you'll get 10.5k xp for 83k. If you farm a papaya tree and a maple tree, you'll get 9.9k xp for 63. It is true that normal trees are more expensive (in gp/xp) than fruit trees, but for both kinds of trees the price goes up exponentially. So, it's better to farm two less expensive trees than 1 expensive and 1 cheap tree.
  22. They're only slightly more expensive, so yes, if you want to pay more you should plant them.
  23. Besides, any barrows item that's damaged isn't worth it's trade price anymore, it's worth the alch price, which is something like 50k. So, if it'd go by trade price, stuff like dragon boots would protect over it. Yay?
