The barrows brothers sets have some of the highest rang def in the game (next to bandos). Why would it work well?

I was curious to see how it was, so I tried it, I had 93 range and 80 def at the time. I got to jad quick, and the brews easily covered the damage from the 90's on the 90+360 waves, but once I got to Jad just 1 healer on me was enough to cause too much damage and be a distraction from Jad's prayers. I wouldn't recomend using it.

Aviansies and ankous also drop them regularily.

The first article was pointless. He never explained why player interaction is apparently going down hill. Bounty hunter is gone TEMPORARILY. The 'interaction' of trades was nothing more then a generic "ty/np". There are plently of quests you can do with friends... hell, we even have a dedicated group questing world. If you want to do something with a friend, ask them. I don't see what the problem is.

Once you can burn and/or fletch maples, you have no use for willow logs, plus a lot of people aren't p2p and thus don't even fletch. However, they are the best thing to wc in f2p for experience, so you end up with a whole lot of useless logs.

Try out the new minigames, items, and skills. Once you get used to the updates pick a goal and finish it. It could be skill, more money, or some minigame items, just pick what you enjoy doing.

I prefer a warrior ring, and I've got a 91m bank so price is no objection. A berserker ring may or may not increase your max hit by 1 (it depends on what other strength bonus you have), which isn't very good. Warrior ring increases slash attack and defense, making you slightly more accurate (less 0's), which I consider more important when training. The little defence boost is nice too. And if you've only got 3m it would take up far too much of your wealth.
