  1. Thank You for Smoking: Good movie, slightly funny, and an interesting look into the world of lobbyists. The Hulk: Worst super"hero" movie ever.
  2. Poisoned spears are pretty good: they're what I use.
  3. Never knew that. Cool.

    Gratz, awesome photo.
  5. If you liked V for Vendetta, then read Army of the Republic, by Stuart Archer Cohen: it changed the way I view our society, and yes, it's fiction.
  6. Against the Current, by Earth Crisis.
  7. This. (Although I do like my BGS for pking and (some) minigames)
  8. Agreed. So jealous dude, that's just awesome. 10/10.
  9. That is a horrible use of time. It's just a total waste. WC is incredibly fast to train with ivies nowadays.

Sorry, sometimes I forget which forum I'm on. CW = conventional wisdom. Coventional widsom is the reason that we still are told to fear consuming saturated fats and cholesterol: essentially, people don't want to hear anything contrarian to the viewpoints they were taught and now espouse: anyone who can read and is aware of basic scientific principles should agree with the statement "Ancel Keys is an entirely unintentional pseudo-scientific fraud." Simply enough: spikes in your blood sugar levels are bad for you, and yet instead of trying to determine and remove the cause (carbohydrates in the Western diet) we insist on trying to control it with insulin. When your blood sugars are wandering around, it's quite bad. Article of interest: http://www.phlaunt.com/diabetes/14046621.php As I've said, my primary interest is in evolutionary diet and historical logical biology. My studies of diabetes are limited, and Dr. Harris is one of the few people who have actually read any of the medical studies and not just blindly accepted CW as the "gods and demi-gods in all their glory have granted us."
  11. Protein bars are crap: they're chocolate bars with some protein and fiber added. Total garbage to eat: just look at the ingredients, and I'm sure you'll see what I mean.

Spent about an hour making a delicious breakfast (fried cod, cheese, fruit, tea, coconut bread and tartar sauce). Spent a few hours doing schoolwork, then started stripping the branches off of a few trees we took down. Good day =)
  13. Great idea. Totally supported.
  14. Dungeoneering is inclusive of far more than SC. In fact, it almost entirely encompasses stealing creation.
  15. A new skill is a massive undertaking, and I would hardly call the first release a failure: just a piece of content that needs some tweaks.
  16. As someone with an addictive personality; I can relate. If I'm not very careful to control my problem with playing RS for ridiculously long periods of time, then I lapse back into my addiction. It's not the game's fault, it's not Jagex's fault, it's my own problem. Problem is though, when I remove RS from my life, I try to fill it with something else: usually something destructive - at the very least, other video games, if not worse. So I control my problem instead, by limiting the time spent playing, and finding other things in my life that I enjoy to pursue instead.
  17. Not with the fall in gem prices. And besides, a 30 second trip to the bank and telly back every two hours is hardly an inconvenience.
  18. Morgan Freeman.
  19. He's bored, not trying to be bored. Although it does only take a few days.
  20. Use a rake on a patch to free it from weeds, use a bucket of supercompost on the empty patch, then plant your seed(s) and, if an allotment or flower patch, water them. Come back a few hours later, pick, and minus the raking part, repeat.
  21. It's really just between herblore and prayer at least to me: the new pots are awesome, but so is having massive amounts of prayer points. It's just really what you prefer.
  22. Yea, it's really just stupid. I can't believe that it was so poorly thought out.
  23. When people say "gay musicians" (with talent, which seems to be rarer and rarer) they're all that comes to mind.
