  1. That's the big thing: it's not really a rational decision to play, at least for a lot of people.
  2. It's not impossible, you'd just have to have an insane dedication to the game.
  3. I'm just holding out hope that the new skill will be released soon.
  4. I could see them dropping a bit, but turmoil is going to keep them high, I'm quite sure of that.
  5. I'm not sure if anyone here can shed light on my problem; I've looked around on the internet and can't seem to find an answer. My MW2 offline profiles are constantly corrupted: I'm careful to fully quit the game before shutting the system off, and I'm running the latest firmware. I've been unable to get it to connect to my new router, so I wonder if it could be a problem with the PS3 itself?
  6. Beneath the wounds of a junkie - The Juliet Massacre.
  7. First of all, RuneScape uses a miniscule amount of bandwidth: the problem you're having with you cap is a result of watching YouTube videos. Speed though, is really just something that will come over time. Internet connection is necessary for development worldwide, and yet it isn't seen as an important issue.
  8. Anything by Greenday.
  9. I usually read, write, or sometimes, play RS. Tossing around a volleyball is usually fairly relaxing fun too.

The eggs in the carton being organized the "wrong" way. It's horrible.
  11. I would like to see an RPG employed as an anti-aircraft weapon.... And what's really sad, is that the day this breaks, all anyone was talking about (at least not here) was Tiger Woods.
  12. As a rule, I never wear anything made by American Eagle or Aeropostale. Generally, I wear black shorts, and select my shirt from a variety of t-shirts, which generally looks like one of these: ACDC (looks godlike in it) Slipknot (rarely, because I'm forced to explain to everyone who asks that I bought it several years before psychosocial.) Billy Talent (less, after their last album) Bullet for my valentine (never, after their last album) Variety of U of Michigan T-shirts My favorite South Pole T-shirt (which I love, so I make an exception to my never buy overpriced mainstream garbage.) And the funny thing is that every Christmas, all of my relatives go: "he only wears the same shirts over and over and over; he must not have enough clothes." And every year, the local church is distributing a couple dozen American Eagle and Aeropostale T-shirts, still in the paper in the box, lol.

I made a delicious broccoli with Alfredo sauce, dug a 20 foot trench in the backyard for my latest project, and then read the first half of 'How Doctor's Think' by Jerome Groopman, M.D. Unfortunately, that means that I really should do some more schoolwork today, but it's rainy outside, so I'd better hop to it.
  14. Same thing happened to me on my first trip. Good post, I'm waiting for the next one. =)
  15. No, you're no longer considered ingame after you exit to the lobby.
  16. I can speak from two standpoints: My first cape was fletching, which, contrary to popular belief was not easy for me to get: at that time I hardly hardly any gold, but really enjoyed training it. After months of laboring, I got 99. I'm still most proud of it, out of my three 99's. The second skill I maxed out was woodcutting, long before ivies were released. This took at least four times as long as fletching, but I can hardly say I was that much prouder of it. Cooking, on the other hand, was so easy, cheap, and SO FAST that I hardly even consider it a 99: it took me like a week and only a few mil to get. It was a joke, not that I disrespect other people that have the cape.
  17. Works great, especially lately, as fewer people are crashing it to be annoying.
  18. Actually, that's not entirely true. I love books, but I've found that action scenes and fights are much better in movies. Somehow the intensity and fast-paced action just can't be captured in words. Movies can rival books ability to describe action (a more visual form of entertainment), but they entirely fail to describe anything of subtle communication or background information that develops and refines characters.

I ate myself into a stupor at my family's easter feast, then whittled away at the rest of the day reading and catching up with the TED Talks.

Finished reading Makers, by Cory Doctorow. Great writer + visions that will be coming true = awesome book.
  21. I did teaks to 99, but ivies are WAY faster. 1. Teaks. 2. Sawmill. Sawmill's only faster at high levels, and then only barely. Ivy is faster than eucs, far faster.
  22. That's how I plan to train.
  23. Honestly, I never found a way to not be bored while firemaking: it's really just boring because of the repetitiveness, and the concentration that's required.

That is a really good example.
  25. The idea of swimming as a skill isn't quite as stupid as sailing, but it's a close second place.
