Is is just me, or would having your levels reset actually be a good thing for people trying to make a pure? I mean, say you had maxed combat stats, but decided you wanted to be a zerker, just bot defense for a while?

I think that, because colored whips are untradeable, they would give no DP when lost. I'm not certain though since I don't pk a lot.

Okay I am severely scared right now, I was mining when suddenly I found a huge pit, like at least 30 squares down, so I built some makeshift stairs to get down and when I do, the whole thing is covered in creepers! I mean there were like at least 5 of them, and there were some zombies too! :ohnoes:

Wow, I found three mob spawns within a very close distance to each other, I wonder if I could just make like a combined trap for all three of them? Also, thank whoever started this thread because Minecraft is the awesomest thing ever.

a dragon hally is a good cheap spec weapon there, but I would say Z spear if you have it.

Any way to turn the sounds off like you can do with the custom cursors? Seriously, everytime Jagex makes an update like this *cough cough EYES cough* I hope for a on/off option.

But thats what I'm talking about, it was an adventure back when I was a level 3.

For me, the hardest part of this game was definitely between the time that I was 80 combat to 100 combat. I remember always feeling like I had to either grind for endless hours or give up. I wasn't high leveled enough to make a lot of money killing monsters that gave good drops because my combat level was too low. And if I wanted to get a higher combat level I would need money to buy weapons food and armor, but I had no money because I was too low leveled to kill things that gave good profit. A vicious cycle... The thing about this awkward period between noobness and being high leveled was that I was between the point where everything was still new and exciting, and the point where everything is challenging and rewarding. And thats one of my major complaints about runescape is that the game sort of has a bottleneck between the fun and exciting low leveled stuff and the fun and exciting high leveled stuff. Sure theres mid level content, too much many would say, but none of them are real longterm money makers like combat is. I mean, admit it, try skilling for 10 million gp, then try killing for 10 million gp, I bet that unless you're a skiller with 99 runecrafting it would be easier to kill for your money. Perhaps I'm just crazy, but in my opinion there is a large leap in terms of xp and gp from the low levels to the high levels that some players might not be motivated enough to cross.

Seriously! Sheesh, if the guy wants to make adamant bars let the guy make adamant bars! I know that people here are just trying to give advice, but now that the question has been given an answer, and the topic starter has chosen his method, why start a flamewar?

I think that fishing is very well balanced right now for p2p players, though for f2p I might argue that they deserve one more type of fish to catch, but its pretty good in my eyes.

Just fish while you do homework or listen to music, that'll keep you sane.

Hey man, no need to start a flamewar, he was just stating his opinnion on what he thought would be a good idea to bind, and gave his reason as to why he thought so. If you think that there is a different better way, then post it and be done with it, then the person who asked the question can decide what he wants to do.

To be honest, its familiar, cheap, easy, and I can pick it up for as long or as short a time as I want to, and it'll still be productive. I've played eve online off and on a bit, and I really loved certain aspects of the game. First off, best graphics in the MMO industry, end of story. Second, it really has a great helpful community. I mean sure you've got your trolls and such, but everyone is just nicer and more helpful. Also, NO grind in eve, except for money, but thats usually not a problem. PvP combat in eve is much cooler IMO but I've never been much of a PvP player. Thats the main reason why I left Eve is because it really is a pvp game, everything revolves around fighting. If I was a billionaire I would play eve over Runescape, but I'm just a poor kid who gets 20 bucks a month for allowance. Also, if you want to play eve and get anything done, you're looking at at least half an hours worth of playing before you reach a good place to log out, which bugs me.

Nothing big, just kind of made my day to see my name in the awards section. :shades:

Ugh, why does Jagex feel the need to make strange updates that nobody had showed an interest in. Eyes are just weird looking, everyone looks like they're super serious/surprised with their eyes wide open. Ugh...fail jagex
