This is the big huge smithing update? Thats a bit disappointing to me, I was expecting a complete overhaul of the smithing system. I mean, smithing is a cool skill and all, I've just always thought it was very unbalanced in terms of reward, the fact that it takes 99 smithing to make a rune platebody is just absurd, I mean, rune isn't even that good...

Jeez man, is it really necessary to flame like that? He asked a valid question... Either way, I'd buy the amulet sooner rather then later, because if you look at G.E graphs of several expensive items that crashed when the bonus XP weekend was announced, they have almost all started to level out.

Is it assistable? I'm guessing not...

I'm always sort of "meh" about the double xp weekends, the first one I was really happy about because I used it to go from 40 to 70 summoning, but after they nerfed summoning (which, really? Come on Jagex, don't nerf it just because its the smart thing to do, or at least don't nerf it that much) But I'm kinda hoping that armor and weapon prices will fall, because I've been looking to snag some bandos top and bottom for slaying. As for the xp weekend, I'll probly just train agility again...man I hate agility, last time I tried to train it, I swear I was starting to develop an ulcer. :evil:

Is it just me, or is that a TON of risk, work, and effort just for a shark that gives you +1 items kept on death?

What I've always wondered is how jagex determines if its RWT or not. I mean, billions of gold are traded every day, how do they zero in on the people they presume to be cheating? And what if it wasn't actually RWT, but just a friend giving another friend some in game cash?

Jeez...I hate to pull the classic "if you feel like you have too much money give some to me" gimmic, but jeez people, I honestly don't think that I could ever have too much money in this game. But then again, I've never actually had that much. (Most my bank was ever worth was 30 million, but as of yesterday I got scammed for my dragon claws <_<)

Alright, I'm kind of leaning towards option B anyways since I sacrifice 21 ranged attack bonus for lots of defense and 10% ranged absorb, but I thought that since I'm 90 defense it might be worth it. And thanks for commenting on my sig, I'll give you a cookie if you can tell me what its from. :P

Okay so I'm hoping to camp aviansies to 90 range and make some money to train herblore along the way. My question is which of these two stats would be better? Keep in mine that I have 90 defense, 81 ranged, and 88 hp. [spoiler=Setups] Option A is obviously more attack bonus intensive, while setup B is more defensive. I'm open to suggestions but my overall setup is probably not going to change very much. Thanks for any advice!

Although you say you don't condone bots, you are placing them in what looks like a positive light by saying they kept prices low. That is like you walking into a store and seeing a t-shirt sellin for $20 and saying "Not that i condone slavery but it sure kept cotton prices lower than this". The result of bots is a fake market. I'm always in favor of market corrections . People adjust and life goes on. Higher prices are not evil, lower prices are not evil. lolwut, comparing me starting this thread about botting in which I simply give credit to the fact that botters introduce massive amounts of resources into the game to saying that I support slavery? Please leave.

Well, old wildy implies free trade, and vice versa. You couldn't have a drop system that gave everything your opponent was carrying, but then have a restrictive trade system.

Every now and then I play Eve online for a month or two. The only problems I have with it are that it is 15$ a month, and if you really want to get benefit out of it, you really have to play for a few hours each session, whereas with runescape, I can log in and play for 15 minutes and not have to worry about having to get up and leave soon.

So I hate to start another thread about "what will happen if the old wildy gets implemented into the game", but I don't think I've seen this issue addressed so far. If the old wildy is reintroduced into the game, than players will be able to kill each other anywhere in the wilderness, and this would include the scores of green dragon botters out there. I am not at all condoning the use of bots, but they do without a doubt introduce massive amounts of dragon bones into the game, keeping prices low (low-ish). But with them gone, a major source of dragon bones will dry up with them. Another possible reason for the price of bones to spike is that pking might become more popular, and although many dime a dozen pures try to avoid training prayer, I've heard many stories of turmoil pures that would require massive amounts of bones before they could pk. Anyone agree, disagree? What do you think will happen to the price of dragon bones?

Meh, I've only been scammed once, and that was within a few weeks of joining the game. You have to be pretty dumb not to notice when your getting scammed.

Sorry if this has already been asked somewhere in this thread, but would this mean staking would return? If so...OMG!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: I loooooooooved staking, it used to be my favorite thing to do, even if I was just a poor noob who never won any fights.

Just got portal because my friend convinced me, and man, my mind is blown.

On my last trip into my cave system under my house I came up with 12 diamonds! The Trip lasted about half an hour. Also found 30 some iron and two stacks of redstone. What is redstone even good for anyways?
