  1. Your poverty has nothing to do with the system.
  2. Its certainly a step up from the russian medicine/apothecary spams :D
  3. Many people stop botting after being discovered and their account frozen for a few days, and that is smart for business. But this also results in some of the dimwits thinking that Jagex are dumb, or that they are smarter than Jagex, so some continue to break rules. Funny thing is it used to be so obvious when some kid posted he got hacked, that it was because of some program he downloaded which ended up screwing him over. That is another reason why you don't get an automatic permanent ban first time usually. Because yes, there are idiots such as portrayed above.
  4. At least give it 5 xp to agility if it has to be there :) And also you learn alot more from failure. So dying once or twice in the wild would really teach new players about the dangers far more than a message and lets face it. Most new players over-estimate their abilities in the beginning of the game anyway, hence the dying alot more in the early stages of playing. So warning or no warning, people will still die and in a magical way blaim Jagex for it.
  5. ya meili knows alot too :P but me naah .. I was seldom active in clans besides clan wars hehe  if someone still has contact with flex_10 that would be awesome.
  6. [hide=] Everyone has that one person that seems to get them good.. Mine was Kingpin, there was something about that guy that just no matter what he spanked me.. I cannot explain it - He was 106 and i was like 116.. I even fought him once with full plate, super weakens and earth waves and he still almost had me, i think i managed to make him log with like 1 shark left - FROM FULL! It's not like i let him re-pot or anything lol.. Couldn't explain it other than to say he cheated which obviously just sounds like sour grapes.. He always hit me mad good lol. The best 3 hitter - Was no doubt Zorro though not in the conventional sense... if you were battering Zorro you'd have to worry because you'd be full food, cruising to the kill and he'd be half hp no food and then he'd just 3 hit ya.. I can't even explain the amount of times Me n Sue ran to ''save'' Zorro and him just go ''it's okay, got him'' just before we got there. My best stats for 3 hitting were at 116 combate 99-90-99 on p2p with a ruby ammy (superstition?) i couldn't wear anyone down or hit them repeatedly but i knew if i kept catching i'd 3 hit them eventually, it was great lol. My best time pking without doubt was 112 combat though - 92-85-99 f2p pking with ruby ammy again lol - I just hit all the time no matter who i was fighting.. Made the stupid mistake of training and had to keep going cause no other combination worked for me on f2p :( [/hide] lol good times. anyway ss killer was my nemesis in wilderness but before wilderness....... pony girl and her mate aznyumiangel (before i befriended aznyumi hehe) they would stalk be all over the map lol and the only way i could avoid them was going into champs and down the ladder which i did like 25-30 times before they sauntered off :P oh and killa priest would whoop the crap out of me and make my life miserable on karamja until i finally defeated him in the banana plantation for my first full addy kill w00t ill never forget that. and about kingpin there was kingpin who meili talk about that became impure around p2p than there was kngpin who was a high lvl ranger pure i think he pked alot with buttrfly.
  7. I'm gonna have to re-open my account on Boomspeed if I'm going to retrieve some of those old pics Das, hehe .. (I'll do that next week) As for nominee's.. Well Gamerr is just about as old as most of the woodwork and still actively posts. And what about yourself Das? You've been active in clans in RS for god knows how long :)
  8. Obviouslt they wont just go to court for that. They will throw in a few other charges like emotional damage, etc. "I fought the law, and the law won". I think too many people are following their emotions, and relating to the fact that yes, it is a bummer to lose $140 no matter what. It doesn't mean the person is entitled to have it back though. There are way to many technicalities in Jagex' favour in a case like this worth mentioning. But in any court instance Jagex would win. (Except court-tv which is a joke). If the player has a good defense he could easily win. I myself can come up with a lot of good reasons why i should win over Jagex. If i was ever to lose my account i'm pretty sure i could get a few hundred thousand out of Jagex if i play my card right. I'm pretty sure you couldn't. But it would be exciting to see if you could. Everybody here thinks they are gods gift to humanity. And a seemingly good idea can just as easily get shot down in court by lawyers who are specialized in electronic gaming, and I'm sure jagex has more than one of those on their payroll. And I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be the first to try and milk a cash cow lol.

  10. Go ahead and spend thousands of dollars on a court case so you can get your $140 back. Please by all means do it. $5 or $500 makes no difference if you are in the wrong.
  11. Not really, many people play because they are addicted? Than those addicts would be experiencing a shot of dopamine when playing, which is FUN, seeing as dopamine is our body's natural pleasure drug. Dopamine is "rewarded" to you as a natural response to doing something you especially like. This can explain why some people experience a buzzing sensation in their hands/fingers/arms when they achieve something extraordinary in a game like Runescape. Or when player-killing. There are tons of people who have fun playing RS, and who do it just for a small dose of fun, unlike some others. You just won't find most of them here as they are busy having fun!
  12. No no no ... I would not play RS1 with cheat codes from Jagex. That would be pretty oxymoronic (and just plain moronic) on their part, seeing as they lost RS1 to the autos and bots.
  13. Tens of thousands of people still play text based MUDS. And like RSC, people who enjoy that style of gaming will flock back and play. Even new people. You know there are plenty of crappy graphics games still being produced with large fan bases. There are even updates now in 2009 for the super-mega-awesome game Dink Smallwood, a singleplayer game much older than RSC. So my point is, that RSC can easily regain thousands of players, and even subscribers, due to the fact that classic games never entirely go out of fashion. Yes. There are many players who choose not to play games because of the graphics. But there are just as many gamers around that do not prioritize graphics to the extent that they disallow a certain game to be enjoyable merely because of worse graphics! adventurequest.com dinknetwork.com/ rtsoft.com/dink/ uoherald.com/news/ orgreisland.com runescape.com proof that there are games with "disadvantaged" graphics with thousands of followers. (There have also been over 1 million subscribers to UO throughout its history on the internet).
  14. you know who almost always came close to 3 hitting me? ALWAYS. frigging ss killer
  15. If you vary your gameplay its easy to keep skilling to a very high overall without noticing how "boring" it is.
  16. Interesting tip. I also am a big fan on the ring, and now even more so.
  17. Many RS players are like toddlers. They would rather play with something new and shiny.
  18. Thanks both of you ;) And good luck in achieving your f2p goals, freaks :)
  19. As of the 20th May I have decided to expand my Runescape horizon and buy membership for Fook-A-Ji  Its been a good 8 years 4 months as a free player, and hopefully I'll have as much fun in p2p as I have had in f2p. Its not because I am sick or tired of f2p in any way. I just feel that on a personal level I have played the f2p game to its fullest extent. And I am ready for new challenges and goals, after stopping today with 1324 overall and 100 million exp :) So farewell f2p list, and hello members. If they get around to fixing so I can pay that is .. Seems like their billing service is in trouble today.
  20. Sorry but I don't see the relevance of having rune platebodies as the "fastest" xp on f2p. Since you need 98 smithing to smith them it would only be the fastest for approximately 1.3 million exp which is only 10% of the total experience needed to get 99 smithing :) The most affordable on f2p and "okay" xp is actually iron platebodies. It would cost roughly 70 million only to get 99 smithing with iron bars. But since we are talking fastest. I would have to say steel platebodies. Since you can smith them already when your in the 40's of smithing and its fast all the way to 99 without being unrealistic like rune platebodies.
