Runescape withdrawl symptoms?
Don't have this problem with runescape. I really find it as a fun way to fill in the gaps of boredom especially during the off season for other videogames and during the holiday-less school-less part of the year when it is too hot outside to do anything(summer!). But I know that some people do get addicted to MMORPG's. Apparently in Korea you have to link accounts to your social security number, and you can only have a max of 3. I have played since the runescape tek 2 engine beta and played lightly since then, hence why I am not 99 in everything. I am glad you are enjoying cool stuff in life now. Perma-bans aren't always bad I guess.

Familarization
picture proof makes things easier for us, otherwise we have to have crew or staff confirm it personally. Since this is something we can't recreate for ourselves, it would be great if you got a screenshot! Thanks for the heads up either way.

Beginners Guide
Hey, I catch little things like that all the time as well. Thanks for catching that. I will make sure to get myself or someone else onto updating that bit.

What's With This Crash?
I think you are right with the idea of the new treasure trails, but in all honesty, its not like a monster drop, trail items are honest to goodness hard to get. You have to get lucky to get a trail, then get lucky to get the item. Even with the new item every time promise, it will most likely be bob the jagex cat shirts and purple sweets most of the time. I predict prices will sharply sky rocket once people discover that the item is just plain hard to get. People who get a piece most likely won't even sell it, but rather will use it, keep that in mind. So people will buy thier items back quickly hoping not to lose money, and prices will quickly go up again, and then very very slowly fall over time to a point very few of us can take advantage of it. Especially since it will be from a level 4 clue....so it will be so close to impossible to get, the price on it will be a joke it will be so high. Like over 9000!!!! high.(aka higher than 3rd age 2 times over)

Why do people wear skillcapes?
I want the herblore skillcape hood to pretend to be guthix....But the capes should be for the wearer, not the audience not always. If you like a skill, level it. That's all there is to it for me. Emotes are awesome too.

is dungeoneering really a difficult 99?
I am very curious about skill capes/quest cape and one my curiosities is that dungeeoneering, although new and rather unseen, might not be a difficult skill. I don't do the skill much, but it doesn't appear to be that hard to level up. Why? Well you can't just buy it like cooking which means it isn't going to be fast in that respect, but how long does it take? If someone memorizes all the items, monsters and how the skills work, they could eventually become a machine much like any other player in another skill and ring the 99 bell. Also its pretty much free, and there are no quests that make it easier(yet if ever) which makes me think that they made it to be self reliant so that could mean that experience was cushioned in the plan that it would be its own skill that was never going to have post-quest benefits. I am personally working for slayer to be my first 99, and I know it is a tricky one which many would find impressive if it were untrimmed. So, what do think? Is it hard? What makes it easy or hard for you? I think it would be reletivly easy. The skill has no way to punish you for dying really, you don't lose your precious items since they are all made in the skill and you get used to losing them every half hour anyway. Also when you die, you don't respawn far away, you just run through a few rooms again. Also I must account for the fact that you would need other high level skills to make it work(if I understand correctly) The higher your other skills are, the easier it is. Discuss! Don't bash the OP, I am curious. that is all.:ohnoes:

New? Lobster pot animation
the harpoon animation is now odd too. It looks like the animator forgot to do something and no one caught it, the character shoves their hand into their face for no reason while the other hand harpoons. But agreed the potting animation is really bad. I could animate better than that.(no really I can)....

back after ~3 years
Oh, they killed the wildnerness. Did they do that before or after the GE? I don't remember, I was gone when both happened. Major graphics update. Jagex is turning evil climbing boots are now "rock climbing boots" which are like 45k to alch, and the new climbing boots have no stats. Some players had like 100+ boots and got millions of free gold....Market doesn't seem to have been affected though. Many skills have more active, fun and diverse ways to train random events all yield the same generic reward which lets you choose what you get from it. we still don't understand what makes cabbage so important.

max slayer points
*sniff sniff* If there is proof or confirmation, we can add this to the slayer guide. Anyhhow...I would guess its a ridiculously high number.

Tip.It Times - 25th July 2010
That is the only reason I did what part I have of fairytale part 2, the reward, despite the fact I knew I couldn't finish it. I understand that perspective, keeping both high level and low level content up to date and fun can be difficult. I just notice that the focus has been on high levels and more stimulating activities and quests seem to be low priority. True though. Jagex needs to keep runescape a challenge for people, and new challenges as well. The legends quest used to be hard, the kalphite queen used to be the best boss ever(dragon chainbody). I don't disagree one bit. I envy your quest cape. Poor Requiem, they are bashing you! Be nice and remember to I dislike effigies. They should be something you get only if you have the level to use it, assists should be prohibited with them IMO as well. I had no idea you only get them through combat. No wonder I haven't got one yet. I only combat train for slayer. I am trying to go for slayer 99 below combat 85(in other words w/o smoking kills) But if I get 85 cb, that just makes it faster to 99. :\ another debatable topic. Penguin spying ftw. Thanks for picking my article. Thanks for whoever picked it!

slayer help. How do I kill trolls?
you can do that? I never knew you could cancel before smoking kills! Thank you

slayer help. How do I kill trolls?
I got the great idea of using chaeldar when I am too low level to use her. So I am stuck killing 163 ice trolls on neitinot as far as I know I can't do this assignment. 1.Are there other trolls I can kill? 2.What else is there out there in terms of troll levels? 3.I am planning on using prayer gear. problem solved

The Truth about Ranarr Spawn and Jagexs Great Conspiracy
But the noobs don't know that. It seems like a lot of things are dropping. I am just waiting for prices to rise again to sell most of my stuff again.

Does your $5 loyaly membership keep you from quiting Runescape?
The thing about runescape is that it is so insanely cheap it doesn't matter. Paying $5 a month for runescape(my only MMO) and $5 a month for xbox live. Still cheaper than WOW, so I am happy.

200M in all Skills
if he doesnt quit. everyone thought so highly of Zezima and then he quit yeah. Once you get to the zezima point, there are really no other reasons to play. Getting past 99 at all makes no sense to me unless its from PKing or trying to make money.

Jagex CEO Mark Gerhard calls Free Realms 'insipid'
Wow, I am really losing faith in runescape staff. That was a very unkind thing to say and then hide behind your own successful game. Runescape is the casual MMORPG, so I wouldn't go around calling others bland when runescape can have some of the most bland grinding in the business. He should have been more kind. Obviously you don't want to admit that another company is doing well, but that doesn't call for harsh retorts. I love runescape for what is still leftover from the "pre-people quitting because of absurd and outrageous updates era".

I don't think that Jagex can afford to make another ridicuous update like level 120 and lose 10% of its paying users again. XD If they raised the level cap to 120, they would have to do so many updates and add more reasons to get that high, and make it easy enough to do, so I don't think it will ever happen. I think the person who wrote that is full of it saying "when" not if. Psssh. Melodrama irks me when a person is using it earnestly.

Something Zombie Related
can I be added and start now?(someone please catch me up to the current point, but only provide info that is relevant, I don't want an essay.) ;) By the way crew is not God red Admin is god. Consider me like a Prophet or demi-god type thing within that analogy. But anyway I am new to crew, and I won't bite. I have read enough already, and I like it here, you guys are scrappy. Proof I am new? *points to front page* so I have only been purple for like 1 day.

Before Jagex increases the level caps to 120 ...
120 will never happen. Its just a dungeon thing. Its such a big skill I can see how someone could easily get to 99 and then keep doing it for rewards. So because of that why not just raise the max cap? Sure its about 8 times harder and 5 times longer(pulled those number out of my hat) but I think it works because this "skill" is really just life a minigame with a level attached to it. Not to undermine the hugeness of the skill though, but it is really unique. I say 120 works here, but nowhere else. The game just can't handle level 120. It would be like agility level 120 would instantly regen run speed and there would be a shortcut in the northern shilo village wall for nature rune crafting. Then runecrafting would end up being like 20 air runes per essance and along the line triple nature runes and double blood runes and a new soul rune alter. Games like stealing creation would have people running around 1 hit killing with super strength, or super magic and ranged, or tanking in with 120 defense and over 1000 LP distracting the other team and pickpocketing. Smithing would obviously get dragon smithing, and dragon item prices would fall and monster killing would have no purpose without dragon loot at the current price range. Madness I say! I like the way things are. I can't even grind to 99, why should I have to grind to 120 to be maxed out? I would rage quit. :P

My Page
Well, If I may, we do have our personal pages on our forums profiles that people can look at and comment on. Some people choose to put things in the about me section like progress bars and those nifty things that give updates about things you recently did in runescape. I find it a very interesting makeshift. Very clever to have thought up something that has been tossed around behind scenes for so long.

The effects that occur when multiple people chop the same tree
For trees this is how it works. It doesn't matter how many people chop the tree, the wood is unlimited in the tree. The real factor is who fells the tree. I have made a yew tree fall in 1 log from bad luck and at other times I have gone on an oak tree with a full inventory and it still didn't fall. So its just a dice roll that every time a person gets a log from a tree, it has a chance to fall. So the more people, the more a chance there is for a tree to fall. If you help kill an evil tree for a while the chance you will fell a tree falls greatly, I have seen about 3 high level cutters with dragon hatchets and myself chopping at the same willow tree and filling up and still going until our magic banking time ran out. For ores, it is fact and confirmed by tests that respawn rates have a certain time on rocks, and as more people are logged onto the world(server) the rocks have a certain amount of time taken off their respawn rate. So basically I like to mine gem rocks on world 2 or other crowded worlds to get better respawn times.

Level 4(elite) clue scroll discussion.
I would say cheers, but I would have to say only about 5-10% drop for clue 1 items, 2 and 3 clues will stay about the same and purple sweets will crash like no other. I predict purple sweets will show up more than half the time as the exclusive reward.
