  1. I'd say that the drop rates are different for each monster. For example, I've killed ~200 turoths consistently without getting a clue, but I usually get one within 80 green dragon kills.
  2. Spelt eyrie wrong, and the colour kind of hurts. Anyways, it's nice to finally see a arma guide that I could possibly follow, as this guide dosen't have the insanely high stat reqs that most of the others do.
  3. Oh. well, I guess my quest is ongoing.. Thanks anyways, and I guess this topic can be locked now.
  4. Could you circle/ highlight the strange part? I can't tell any difference from what it normally looks like. Also, the OP's pics won't load for me. It's probably a bug or something, I can't imagine a news post saying something to the tune of "Strange colours have been appearing in RuneScape recently for those with HD settings, what could be causing this? Wait no more because after doing ____ quest, the secret of the strange colours is revealed!" It's probably a bug
  5. I got 2 raven eggs by chopping ivy from ~70- 80 wc without a rabbit's foot, so you'll probably be there for a while.
  6. Fairly sure you can't set it up at KBD.
  7. Did you guys look at the post dates on Mousier egg's wall of text? they were about 5 seconds apart. He probably wrote it out in word or something.
  8. Just to throw something completely random, what if it has something to do with the varrock museum barge with the island you will be able to go to if you have 200 (?) plus kudos?
  9. Hey. I'm back. I'm not even going to pretend I've been keeping up, so you can lecture me whenever you want. Anyways. Doomsavenger: have you accounted for the fact that people will likely be fleeing all nearby major cities, potentially clogging roads? I'd instead recommend a ATV, or something similar, keeping away from the roads, but close enough to use it as a point of reference if you don't know the area well. Keeping away from the road so the zombies don't attack you (they'll be following the road-clogging cars). Also; you'll have to move out of your house at some point. Where will you go? Are we still looking at that power plant in your area as a option? Do you know your neighbors with the guns well? Are you sure they will be willing to give them to you? Will you have to offer them a part in your survival space (don't know how else to put it). I like the idea of trip wires, as they might buy you a couple seconds, but only if you've already seen the zombie. What if you're checking the tripwires every 15 minutes, and the people get bored (as people do) and don't adequately search it, allowing the zombie to stand back up and get into the camp (I think that's what you're suggesting). That's as far as I can see down the page, so I'm off for the night. Maybe. *edits* I re-read your post, noticing the wooded cabin part. Do you already have supplies there? What if it's overrun? Can you defend it? Seeds don't grow right away, are you sure you can hold out until then? What about other food? Bandits, other survivors, whether you're going to accept others, how to get rid of them if you're not, how to screen for infected. These are all questions that need to be addressed. I'm actually going to bed now, having read the last couple pages.
  10. I'm wondering if it's possible to download images to see on my xd-card using olympus FE-320, or sd-using nikon coolpix. To clarify, possible to view from the camera, I've already tried dragging and dropping and copying and pasting. Thanks!
  11. OOh! We should have a form to fill out in event of a zombie attack, so we would be warned in the least amout of time, and a very basic survival plan that one could change to fit any occurrance. The form: City, province/state/whatever you call it, country. Rough poplulation of your city, or if you live in a rural area rough population within 100km/ 60m-ish Weapons at your disposal: And I can't think of something for the survival plan. Yeah, criticize it if you will... but try to add something.
  12. The old fashioned ones? glass? Telescopic sights need batteries, and we'll need to conserve those. and guys, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, we're going to be living together for a couple years, and relying on each other to survive. We'll need to get along. See yas
  13. Looking at the prices of dragon bones in rellation to hides, you'll need 2 green/blue hides for every bone you plan to buy, so you'll have to kill more than 1.4k if you don't want to spend any of your own money. Dragon bones are 3.204k. blue hides are 2.193k and green hides are 1.781 each.
  14. Ignore the troll... Anyways, I already took the time to type out the entire page on flamethrowers, and am not in the mood to do it again. Main points: Difficult to find fuel Won't kill the zombie immediately (they'll burn until their brain is toasted) The flaming zombie will set anything that it bumps into on fire ( assuming it's flammable) I thought I squished the flamethrower argument, oh well. Hextriplet, if you're not willing to be serious, get out, and let us be. You're not contributing. Oh, and I'll sacrifice my spot on the TIF grid for the TDZF. Somebody made a joke, it misfired. I'll write the complaint letter, all you have to do is sign it.
  15. I love this guide, but in the new update part (the bandos mages) none of the screenies are showing, unfortunately, I'm not familiar with photobucket, so I can't offer a solution.
  16. There's a safespotting guide somewhere in the Aow/ general guides section, I'll try to find it for you. Aha! I found it buried deep in the old AOW index! Behold! http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=608702
  17. You could just live by the rule of thumb that I do; some people are kind of... simple. Don't worry about it.
  18. I think this is a good idea, but are there any bets on how slow the game will be to load, from all the hordes of noobs requesting zezima & the like? Actually, I'm happy with this name, but may change it if I ever think of something good.
  19. I'll usually try to read to the end if it's less than 10 pages, or is something that I'm working my way through *spies an opportunity for a cheap plug* as in the zombie plans thread *click on the siggy*, or a guide, because they contain juicy tips.
  20. This'll be fun. How do you know the store won't be already raided? How do you know there will be enough food? How would you find the crossbow/bow? Do you know how to use it? If so, could you repeatedly (60mins+) hit a moving target the size of your head at 100m or more? How will you get the ammuniton/supplies for it? Do you know how to make the ammo? Will it be high enough quality to hit the targets outlined above? How will you defend yourself while sleeping? How will you transport this huge amount of food? On your bike? How will you find your "buddies"? Will you have a two-way radio or ther means of communication? What will happen if you're surrounded? HAVE YOU EVEN READ THE BASIC BOOKS ON HOW TO SURVIVE? If the answer to any of the above questions is negative, go away. In additon to my current "oracle of useless information" title, anybody think I should have a "crusher of survival plans" title? I'm back. Again. *EDIT* We should get a 4x1 block on the Tip.it grid! First square T, second ,Z, third D, fourth F. Why not? *here's a link*http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=805281
  21. quoted for truth, I did the same thing.
  22. he was saying that in wich context? Well, by his surroundings, I'd say he was trying to recruit people for a pest control world.
  23. I like it! There would need to be a visual indicator, though (yellow background?) for the selected items.
