  1. The power amulet allows for more frequent hits whilst still raising your hitting power along with your defence. A strength amulet lacks the addition to accuracy and defence; only raising your maximum hit. In the long run for training and such, the power amulet would prevail, but in pking the strength amulet might be chosen over the power amulet. I'd prefer the more balanced version however, as it is why I use a glory amulet.
  2. Merchanting is the best moneymaking skill. It requires timing, precision, knowledge, and mathematics to get the maximum profit, and even though it is looked down upon by skillers and pkers, it is still the most profitable skill. If you mean the most well known skill, it's Runecrafting. Double nats is making M's an hour yet again with the rising nature rune prices.
  3. Firemaking is key to the All Fired Up quest and the minigame you unlock afterwards. After lighting all 14 beacons, you obtain the Inferno Adze. This speeds up woodcutting considerably, as it incinerates a random amount of logs you cut, allowing you to cut for longer periods of time. It also cuts at the same speed as a dragon axe. Smithing is used to supply RuneScape with higher leveled armor and weapons in F2P. Not many F2P monsters drop rune platebodies, so someone had to make them in the first place. Of course, nowadays rune platebodies are plentiful so this part of the skill is in a way obselete. But then again, the minigame Blast Furnace requires at least one skilled smith, so smithing is still not completely useless. Plus, smithing steel bars or cannonballs makes a bit of profit.
  4. Haha! I had a problem similar to yours. When I first started 4 years ago, I didn't know how to talk. Then I noticed that if I just typed something and pressed enter, it'd come up on the chatbox.  P.S. Seeing a lot of your posts lately. I mean, look at the Questionnaires forum, lol.
  5. I decide Construction as my skill! Other than that Woodcutting. ~Construction~ 1. Hardware Store - Weird Al Yankovic :P 2. What I Bought on eBay - Weird Al Yankovic 3. Home Sweet Home - JAGeX Music Department! ~Woodcutting~ 1. Green Day 2. Weird Al Yankovic 3. Random Songs I don't watch movies whilst skilling! :(
  6. what lv(combat)l are you? Level 89 on a members server, level 85 on a non-member server. what is your highest lvl? Woodcutting at level 93. Check my siggy for proof! what is your lowest(if youre nonmem dont tell me some mem subject like thieving)? Hunter. Trained it the day it came out and got it to 25. I love that skill! how many friends you have? 200. Full friends list. :
  7. For a while? I guess since the day of its release is a while! I havn't trained hunter since the day it came out. Meh, level 25 in a day isn't that bad.
  8. I almost always multitask because I usually do those skills where you can. I love posting on here, it's so fun! I love to browse forums of any kind, RSOF and Tip.It's included. I also like to talk to me friends, cause there are always a few on. It's a good replacement when I cant find any good topics to post on.
  9. I try and keep it on so people can tell me things like to join my cc if I don't have space on my friends list, but I put it to friends when I get thousands of pms from unknown people. (Ban971: Hi... *one hour later* Ban971: Hi... *2 weeks later* Ban971:Hi...) It can get scary. Real scary... P.S. The username is just an example, so don't go adding him and dissing him out.
  10. Well, the question of this topic is simple. What do you do the moment you log on? Do you: (A) Click on your friends list hoping to see your best friends on (B) Join your favoritest clan chat © Start doing what you planned to do (skilling, pking) (D) Greet every single person on your friends list (E) Turn on run to get ready to dash around Gielnor Explain? For me, I'd say (A) for sure. I'm always expecting my friends to be on cause I just love 'em. My next step would be greeting the best ones, although I used to say hi to every single friend on. Then I join my clan's clan chat and finally start doing whatever I planned on doing last. So what about you guys. What do you do first?
  11. You are farming in the patch just below Falador, when you find out that you have forgotten your herb seed, do you: B) Turn on the Run option every time it gets up to 5% I have this problem about using jewlery to teleport. I just don't like using charges... :? You need some Nature runes to alch something, do you: C) Just go out and buy the runes. No way am I crafting nats on my own! (I cant anyways...)
  12. The city I spend the most time in is most definitely Seers Village, or the forest south of it. It has every kind of tree: maples, normal trees, oaks, yews, and magics. A woodcutter's heaven! I used to stay at the Gnome Stronghold a lot. It had every need, including most of what I need now. Terrorbirds for low level training, magic and yew trees, several banks, a fun place to look at, quests to do, gnomes to talk to, 2 minigames, and a resteraunt. I loved that place and still do! :D If you ask which city I represent, I'd say most likely Rimington. That's right, that desolate little town in the middle of nowhere. I love that little place, so peaceful and quiet. I also like it for its main attraction (no not the occasional traveling circus), its house portal. I love Construction, so it's where I stay a lot for hanging out in my house.
  13. 15 hours. My last attempt at a no life failed at 12 hours. My friend kept going for 13 though.. :P . He just had to tell everyone I wimped out and stuff, so I'm mad at him now...
  14. Same with the guy before. I have never ever spent that final coin in my bank, and I probably never will. Other than that I'd probably say my rune axe, although it has now retired. My dragon axe will be my next thing to never leave, drop, or die with though!
  15. The answer should be pretty obvious. As with all other games, the time comes to quit when you lose interest in the game, playing the game becomes painful, or when you're bored out of your mind whenever you start to play. This might happen after grinding on a goal for days on end, but that's frustration and no boredom and only means you should try doing something else! For me personally, I'll quit when I can no longer think of reasonable goals (200M XP in every skill is not reasonable) or when I lose interest in the game; but with JAGeX constantly updating the game, that'll probably be never!
  16. Haha, 4 hours? That's nothing compared to a no-lifing pro. They can max out at over 50 hours, but that's not exactly healthy... I myself don't usually do that for a specific goal. I do play for more than 10 hours on occasion, but thats mostly because of afw woodcutting. Makes it so easy to play forever! : Anyways, you shouldn't be tired. If you are, you need to exercise more.
  17. I only use Teletabs for emergency purposes, as in dragon slaying and such. I normally use the modern teleports with runes, and I'm so frugal as to use an air staff instead of air runes to save on cost.
  18. Oh I wish. My dad likes shooters too much to play RuneScape. :P If my Dad did (my mom doesn't like games lol), I'd be stoked cause I'd love to have a person to play with. And I'd love to chat with a person irl about RuneScape gosh darned it! (Plus, he's a stock broker and would rock at GE merching :P )
  19. RuneScape HD! *angel choir sings* Other than that it'd probably be Construction for me. Just love that skill .
  20. That's a let down? Sounds like a heck of a place to be tbh, don't you see why you'd be dismayed (although the Legend's Quest has an imense amount of requirements). I guess for me the massive let down would be the coveted Abbysal Whip. I trained my booty of a while ago to get it, but couldn't hit higher than 18, found the special was crud, and could hit higher with dlong. Sad.
  21. This topic is a sad one. Almost a year old and not a single post. I guess that's why I'm here! OT: I love heading off to Seers Village to do the ol', afw (away from window) woodcutting at the mages. I keep sound effects and music on the lowest and browse the Tip.It forums. So relaxing! :
  22. I don't think being bored on RuneScape is even a possibility. I'm not sure if it will ever be done... I'm never bored, but I do get tired. When I'm tired or lagging or frustrated (goes hand in hand with being bored) I usually go to afw (away from window) woodcut. I love to do that, the Tip.It forums are just so fun to browse. :
  23. How Long do you Play Runescape in the average day? As in average day with 5 school days and 2 non-school days in a week? Well, I'd say 2 hours a school day, 6-8 hours in the weekend. 3-4 hours? To make this more fun.... How much do you play on school days.... No more than 2 hours. I don't have time to cause I live in Beijing and take the school bus home (you don't know how big Beijing is...) How much did you play during the summer..... Hell I could manage 15 hours a day man, it's sad. How long do you play on the weekends.... Usually around 8 hours nowadays, but being so busy with real life, sometimes 6 hours or so.
  24. Yes I have dreamt about RuneScape irl. It was quite an interesting dream too. I wont share details, if you want them, break into my house, stab me in the chest, cut off my finger, turn on the computer, use my finger to unlock the computer, and torture me until I tell you the password to my Dream Diary. As for the general idea that dream was about, it'd be the house portal in Rimington. Then a magic tree that respawned in seconds and gave lots of quick and easy logs.
  25. Really, all of the good Questionnaires posts are always on the last page. Anyways, here's my response: - All of its stats Look at my siggy. - If it pks then how many kills have you had? Never pked ever. I always died with full rune and a full inventory of food when I tried. - how many deaths (plz be truthful im not looking for the best person here)? Around 5 or so in the past 4 years. I never liked dying. - What are your plans to do next (training what skill)? 99 Woodcutting/Construction, skilling to death, and talking with friends. - What are your stratagies in the wildy? Run away from the wildy!! - if your in a clan what is it called? Brotherhood of Steel. - do you think is good or bad? It's quite a large and good clan. It has loyal members and fun people to play with. - have you joined any other clan before? I've only held my own other than the BOS. Called Fexiao. Dead now. - Funny moments in Runescape Died with full rune twice with full inventory of food and dragon weapons at level 60 or so. - Moments you regret Allowing my friend to scam and working with him to lure a free whip out of a good friend. I ended up loosing that friend forever... Terrible moment in my RuneScape career. :( - and anything else you want to add I really like writing overly long posts and responses, but this interview isn't really a good template to write a huge post... Meh, I love my friends and writing stories, have an especial fondness towards Construction, Woodcutting, and typing.
