  1. Welcome back PKM, and GL.
  2. Its true that for the most part account scamming is all that's available for people trying to get something for nothing. They try. I report. GF. Last creative scammer I saw was right after the GE update, yet before the "fair trade" update. He was selling an "Adamantite Set (t)", but traded an "Adamantite Set (l)"...took all my gps at the time :(. Though I'll give him props as this was only days after the GE came out, and did the job well enough (obviously).
  3. I'm not sure how long it takes (thought you might have an idea). Guess I'll just do a quick sample test once I get 79 and calculate the profit/loss per hour to figure it out...won't be for a little while anyways. EDIT: And by "so much blues" do you figure around 1.5-2k? Thats the number I think it'd be anyways.

  5. Hey Kent, I've a quick question for you. I'm going to be summoning via your "advanced way" (as I'm slaying for charms and want to use them all up) and was wondering when you'd recommend I should start using blues since I don't value my time as >1M/h. Are the titans at level 79 the time to start? Or should I wait 'til the lava titan at 83 and collect obsidian charms for them? Thanks (and nice guide)
  6. Got piled in robes and nearly k0ed  GF LND, was a fun war.
  7. Happy #1 Birthday Downfall! \ Very nice clan history and hopefully you can keep rising in the clan world.
  8. Thats probably your best bet since with smithing your looking to spend a fair amount of cash anyways. And if you don't feel like spending the gps for addy bolts (and faster exp), then just keep using the blast furnace. And I'm sure you know this: the SC hammer is a must. Good luck with the smithing!
  9. What I can see working best is either simply letting the clans warring make the decision on multiclanning outside of TWR (naturally there would be zero tolerance for multiclanning withing TWR), or a set number of members allowed on other official lists as runepkers20 suggests. Methods such as a 72 hour check would be way too much work, and other than the general rule runepkers20 suggested, I can't see a general rule going over well.
  10. Terrible spelling/grammar - I hate that outside of Runescape as well, but it just happens much more in game. AFK'ers - Runescape is meant for enjoyment, not just levels.
  11. Thats what I use as well (including a granite shield) and its more than enough for a bunyip to sustain me.
  12. WG Downfall or Legendz?
  13. All approximates: 100 Blues 500 Crimson, Green and Gold. Although since I'm considering an long-term summoning goal now, greens/golds will stay low and crimsons/blues will become plentiful.
  14. 200M :ohnoes: But if I was going to go for it, Smithing would definitely be my choice. Thats the one skill I find the most relaxing, and with that much exp theres no way it'd get done (by me) in any skill but the one I enjoy the most.

 I also found that using diamond (e) for the latter part of the kills helped out. Not sure if its profitable though, I've only been there for some fun and never kept track of profits/losses.
  16. Here's a link to the "looking for clan/group forum" Also I believe that clans are a great way to enjoy Runescape to the fullest. I've been a part of a couple of the "noob" clans (they can be very annoying) before I found the groups which I'll be with until I quit Runescape. Once you find a good group then its definitely worth it, as a lot of clans do the events your talking about. And I personally invest between 20-40 hours/month in clan events, depending on my runescape time.
  17. I completely agree with you pretty much all those points, so far Jagex hasn't provided much for useful updates this year. But when it comes to the dev diarys they're releasing I actually enjoy reading them and understanding the process required to make the content they're developing. With that said there is far less of these diarys coming out than I imagined. As to how I can handle it, thats simple for me. I'm far from where I want my account skill-wise; there's still a lot of content for me to obtain/use so I don't get bored. And since I dislike questing there's also many quests that I can devote my time to once I do get a little bored of skilling. This is actually why I'd love to see Jagex release some truly high leveled content in the near future (for skills level 80+). For players like me when the updates are slim we can focus on many different older updates to distract us, but players like you have your hands tied with what to do.
  18. I've never high alched an item I didn't want to (I'm also very careful), but once I low alched a rune platebody. Silly Lumbridge diary ring...
  19. 21 for a month now \
  20. It really depends on my mood when I'm skilling. When I first started out (as f2p) I got to 77 mining and 73 smithing by mining all the ores I would use for smithing (with the exception of selling ores once in a while). Now I usually buy my resources unless I get in a "no spending" mood. When those moods hit I do the most foolish things (ie. play Fists of Guthix for the herblore gloves then kill chaos druids for an hour or two to use the charges). These moods I suppose are a way of validating my accomplishments of increasing self-sufficiency and not having to rely on other players to further myself in the game.
  21. Thanks for the input was looking at 70 prayer (much needed) anyways. Crimson seeds would be nice, but shard seeds even better. The main purpose of me training slayer is for the slayer exp. I've simply been relying on these charm drops to level my summoning, and am finding that in order to advance summoning at a fast rate charm farming breaks are required. And I consider rock lobsters too expensive for my tastes.
  22. Although PP is good exp, I am finding that Blackjacking is possibly the best way to level thieving all the way from your level to 91 thieving. I was recently in a thieving competition where the goal was to obtain the most exp/h, and me being merely 68 thieving at the time was seen as a disadvantage. The people in the competition with 81-90 thieving got around 100-120k exp (PP), I blackjacked menaphite thugs and got 180k exp and another with 91+ thieving got 230k exp (PP). Based on that data alone, I'd suggest blackjacking all the way to 91, then using PP for the last 8 levels (if your plan is for 99). Just remember that blackjacking requires alot of attention, whereas PP doesn't require as much.
  23. That I already know. I was asking if it would be more advantageous to train att/str higher via slayer then use the fiends as a break, or if its viable to get a decent amount of charms there (enough to justify using it) with my current stats.
  24. I beg to differ, as I'm able to get anywhere between 300k-400k per hour with low range. What I use are broad bolts, summoning potions and bunyip pouches to sustain my life (as opposed to b2p). With that setup I can stay for about 10h, and never have had my hp drop below half without having to eat (unless theres a swordfish drop, I eat those if hp isn't max). Good luck making your money.
