I've always thought that any rules are fair game as long as both clans agree to them. And as most of the clan world compete in primarily pvp wars, having several clans from TWR starting to pvp against each other opens the door for these clans to find more clans to war and therefore more challenges (off of TWR though). As far as "Uncapped pkris' are and always have been allowed as long as they occur in CWA." (Yguy's quote, cbf to make quote tags)...no offence but thats one of the stupidest things I've ever heard as the war will most definitely come down to one clan simply outlasting the other as there's no reason to stop returning, therefore negating any actual warring prowess.

How many Clan Officals will post on one war declaration? I'm a firm believer that only one Clan Official should post and negotiate the set of rules for each individual fight. It may take a little longer to work out the rules, but it also most definitely makes it easier for the opposing Clan Official to negotiate back in a non-cluttered topic. Clan Officials are given the power to negotiate wars because they are able to get fair/good wars for their clan (at least I hope thats why each clan chooses their Clan Official), so countermanding another's negotiations makes it look like there's disagreements within your clan. How many pages do you think it should take to finish the declaration? 1 for most, and 2 when dates are hard to work out. Most Clan Officials can understand what a fight requires to be fair yet still give their clan a slight advantage so it still may be accepted by the opposition in a compromise (I'm all for fairness but don't kid yourselves, clans war to try and win). Emphasis on SLIGHT. Is it hard to communicate when there are several officals [ wether from your clan or the others ] putting rules out? Very. IMO only one Clan Official from each clan should be putting rules out and everybody else is a hazard. To any others that wish to post: GTFO unless the war has been negotiated and you want to express a "good luck". Do the extra comments from others actually pressure the clans to accept rules faster? Doubt it. I'm not a Clan Official and therefore don't negotiate, but I think that negotiations go faster without suggestions from others. Others posting can lead to confusion between the Clan Officials negotiating and tend to just clutter up topics. Is anything accomplished [ other than free post count ] When you rudely inturupt another clans declaration topic? No, and there's not really any practical reason to interrupt other's topics. Though a post of good luck to clans and/or speculations about the war on the topic ONCE ALL NEGOTIATIONS ARE COMPLETED are acceptable posts imo. Personally that's how I view these declaration topics and what I consider acceptable behavior on them. Yes I've gone against what I've posted here, but those were during a moment of weakness when certain idiotic things that were being said/done/not getting done annoyed me enough to overrule reason.

I'm pretty sure our (SE's) leadership realized they were only going after tank tests once it started. At least it was obvious to me, which is why I never really felt the need to post here until you mentioned the "tank test" fact. Fact of the matter is that most of their members failed the tank test and couldn't tank our 114 opts for [cabbage] during their little test.

Never has and never will, the only time I wear it is when a clue scroll requires it. Its not needed at bosses for me because its easy to eat/brew back from low health and if theres need to get out of there we have many 1-click teles for that.

Initially I considered Runecrafting to be the hardest skill to level, BUT then considered both experience and gp rates while leveling and decided on Mining to be the hardest to level. There is no mediocre exp/h rate that provides decent gp/h as well when it comes to mining, whereas runecrafting has astrals and natures for decent gp/h with mediocre exp/h.

As you just showed it's already effecting VR. as for VR crashing RoT...I've still yet to see any evidence of a real effort to crash. I doubt there'll be a real effort, and if there is I'm positive VR will be sent away, banks wounded.

When I tried string jewelry (only did 80-82 though) I strung ruby amulets and the only losses I was getting was the cost of runes. I'm not sure if there is/was a better item to string, but that cost was acceptable to me.

I agree with Cptbaker, in the majority of cases a rune defender is much better than an obby shield.

I agree you aren't flaming, but you appear to be bragging about an expected outcome (at least in my opinion) AND generalizing that outcome towards all your other opponents whether its applicable or not. It's understandable that you're enthused about a very good pull as well as winning the war, and I still commend dv on that, just don't expect people to react positively to those kinds of statements on expected outcomes.

Nice activity. TDD didn't have much of a chance with that much of a disadvantage. Seriously indianishere...that just makes you and dv look cocky when in reality you have no reason to be cocky about this win. respect LOST because of that comment. :shame:

First things first I'll be sticking to clan's I've dealt with personally, instead of going with a top clan I hate (vr). I can't really say I dislike DV as a whole, just how they negotiate on forums and the rules they push for. Its just that I dislike certain methods they resort to. The most confusing and dislikable trait imo is the fact that they have five people negotiating for rules (on tip.it), and almost always need a numbers advantage. Personally if you try to get more matched/close opts wars you'll gain some respect in my eyes. And if you leave negotiations on tip.it to just one official per topic it makes you look much more organized and professional.

Looked fun, nice to see NI's TPR unit doing work. Congrats.

Looked like a fun night out. If only more clans would start doing this once in a while it'd make pvp and the clan world a little more interesting.
