  1. I'd recommend reading the guide that was mentioned earlier, that looked to me like a good idea on how to start training the members skills. Also, once you've explored/ran around a lot, buy one or two of each: Dueling ring, Games necklace, Glory (4) and Skills necklace. These all have teleports that are very useful for travelling faster. As fun as running around is I'm sure you won't want to run from Falador to Yanille too many times. :P
  2. Ding! We have a winner! From personal experience I found that I had to complete all floors as Sonic mentions, AND complete the highest floor you can (in your case 18) immediately prior to unlocking the next (19). ie. I had 1-18 checked, but completed 18 first so I had to re-do 18 to access 19. That could have been a glitch (I hope so) but don't be surprised if it wasn't. I haven't tested it out again, would rather not repeat when I don't have to.
  3. I wish they'd find a way to simply put a cap on members playing in f2p, or if they can't do that another alternative to look at is capping the total levels on f2p as opposed to combat levels (ie. a total level cap of 1300, 1400 or 1500 effects a lot less f2p players while still restricting many p2p players). Though naturally then that's unfair to the very high pure f2p players. I'd support Jagex if they just made it a blanket reduction to all f2p players as you suggested. In many/most f2p skills its a lot faster (I'd guess 2x faster) to train them in p2p, so why should dungeoneering be any different. (right now I can train it at about the same rate on a low level f2p pure as my main)
  4. Just finished a 5 man with a Shadow-forger Ihlakhizan level 520 as the boss. Not sure about his lifepoints or max hit, but I did see a 777 on one of my team.
  5. Duo/Trio with people your level or higher level. Nah. Soloing is best exp, get it right :P >.> Depends, sometimes it can be done faster with other people. It certainly felt that way for me, but then again my total level is horrible lol. Also I believe it is faster in F2P, or so I hear. Not sure what evidence there is to support this though. Was for me, less deaths = higher % add on LOL. According to their "fix" (which caused the bug and subsequently the rollback) they altered f2p rates for higher levels (95+).
  6. Not too good other exp, though like it was mentioned the rc is nice. Tried it on a low level account and got rc from 5 to 10 before getting level 3 dungeoning.
  7. I agree that this is quite a bit more like a minigame than a skill. With that said, I noticed complaints about having to rely on others for this. There's two options around this: play solo (already mentioned) and you can also change the exp so that it isn't shared. That way if you find you're doing the brunt of the work you'll get most of the exp, eliminating freeloaders in teams. Though with that second option I think you'd need to be the party leader.
  8. Well done Retaliation, 50 kills in a 30 min run in with only 20-25 people is pretty good. Better luck next time DV
  9. Was a fun war, got random hit a few times but never piled. :-( 5k 0d
  10. I haven't tried with overloads (only with normal range potions so I'll just add my two cents where I think it may help), but have soloed several times with a yak/uni + similar range level averaging 8-9 kills/trip. I found rubies to be a large aid for me during the first 1/3 of a kill. I never use them beyond this because the diamond (e) spec should do as much damage without the negatives. I used a verac's helm. That extra defense helps a lot imo. Without overloads I use 14 restores & 32 brews (about 1:2). I'd imagine (purely speculation) that with overloads and the extra space you have (50 for brews/restores as opposed to my 46) you can use 14 restores & 36 brews (2:5 ratio). I also kept bones to peaches tabs in my inventory and used them by picking up bones as I was killing minions. Like others mentioned don't leech magic, it isn't worth it. Kill minions in the order of: melee --> mage --> range. Also I turn leech range off for all the minions, and leech defense depending on my prayer and whether or not I can recharge via the alter after the minions are dead. As for re-attacking kree, if you can do it without lag try and use resizeable safe mode setting (or full-screen safe mode). It makes seeing and re-attacking kree a lot easier. One other thing is that personally I won't tele out of there if I have more than 600 lifepoints in healing power (and am at/near full health). Some kills I've managed without being forced to brew once so that little bit of perseverance can lead to an extra kill. Though with that said if I've little healing power left for a last kill I tend to hover the mouse over my teletab.

Finding worlds is easy, I've never had to hop more than once. Most of the times I've gone were around 10 est and later (a run or two before I get off rs). As for a titan/yak comparison I can't really say much as I don't have the stats/gear (overloads/divine) I want before trying that.

GF Lgz, had fun. Thankfully you didn't pile me, was on 20 prayer for 1/2 the fight.
  13. Congrats Ascension. Still beasting it I see. =D>
  14. Nice pulls PH, and good job on the wins. BLNT DV, not much you could do with that numbers disadvantage.
  15. Definitely both imo. Using a soul wars cape, veracs and piety I could nearly survive solely off the altar. And since I recall from somewhere (not sure where so it may be invalid) that turmoil drains slightly slower than piety you should be good.
  16. Congrats Ascension. Well done especially considering the level difference.
  17. Legendz  Solace or Crimson Raiders
  18. Congrats KoA, and good job T0, impressed you were able to take out 10 of them.
  19. GF Asc, was fun. 14k 1a 2d
  20. That sums it up. If you enjoy slayer keep on slaying and getting all three of those slower then the methods mentioned above. Getting 85 slayer for whip drops is a mistake imo because the profit doesn't compare to green dragons/bosses. On the other hand, if you train slayer to 99 while training your combat stats to 99, you'd gain more then that. No, you wouldn't. IMO you would get more, I'm only 88 slayer and I have indeed made at least 200m I have to agree with psy, 99 slayer is >200m profit. From 77-94 slayer my bank has grown from a measly 5m to 150m (still small but it gets me by atm), and in addition to that I've put about 100m into skills and 50m into various fun activities. And my only other income has been one 26m split, one 6m split, two 2m splits, three SS solo's about 60m from MTK, and I'll guess/estimate about 20m from random skilling. So I've gained about 300m "worth", about 150m of which has come from non-slayer means.
  21. Perhaps I was a little generous, and its closer to 400k-450k/task net (I mentioned gross earlier ) , though my luck tends towards the lower end, consistent drops rather than the large value drops (ie. haven't had a whip in about 10 abby demons tasks, but always left with over 300k cash from alchs + 100k in herbs/gems + 100k in pure ess). Also when you take into consideration spending slayer points from Kuradel on slayer dart runes (1440 points over 50 tasks) that adds about another 80k/task right there. That combined with the larger scale tasks (usually I get assigned 180-250 creatures compared to the 130 you mentioned), dragon bones from the various dragons, and prices of herbs/gems (I bank all gems, and herbs worth more than 2k when I can) I still think my estimate is close. I was also simply referring to the gross profit received, not net. Taking into consideration supplies, praying half the time (usually 10 ppots max), bunyip half the time and one pure set all the time that would take away about 75k profit on average.
  22. My primary source is slayer. Not sure of the gp/h, but its about 500k gp/task (excluding monster specific drops ie. whip, sol, etc) Secondary source is MTK. Final source is casual GWD/corp, just the odd trip when bored or some friends want to go. This last method will be pushed to the forefront within a month once I've the levels I'd like to have before using it as a primary source (99 range, 92+ herb, 95+ prayer). Used to solo merch but found I was watching the graphs more than playing the game and didn't find that fun. I'd rather be poor and have fun doing what I enjoy on RS than rich and doing stuff I don't enjoy as much.
  23. That sums up my thoughts.
  24. Sell the BGS for sure, range is much more useful in the long run. Also like manitstinks implied, the BGS is next to useless in essentially all aspects of gameplay which is also why I'd recommend getting the range levels instead of holding onto that.
  25. Yes, thats how I got the 100 rats.
