Rune Defender > DFS Dfs gives the best str bonus in game as a shielded weapon and it's operate function works very nicely during non-dangerous PvP games. But unless you have 99 attack, I don't see the -accuracy from the defender worth it. If you plan to sell watch the market carefully.

I used guthans, but note I never beat fight caves :P 4-5 brews 6-7 restores, 2-4 prayer potions, rest food/ammo or alternate armor.

There's a good guide on the site, but if you plan to use heavy prayer, Full Mystic Clothing God Cape (Not mage, the one w/ prayer boosts) Glory Amulet/Holy Amulet Staff + Prayerbook Bring 6-10 prayer potions, 6-10 pieces of food, runes, and alterante armor.

Unstrung bows are probably your best bet. There's also Gabooty in Tai Bwo Wannai where you can use trading sticks for clothing that's more in price, but 10k sticks (ge limit) won't get you anywhere.

How about defender of varrock and holy grail? They gave massive XP but were worth it in the end.

Use alll your gold charms first, then green. Save your crimsons and blues for whenevr you get the best level for use (Smoke Devil, Karamthulu Overlord, etc) It cost me about 6-7m to 63.

There's an idea, but I don't think it's a good idea to rely on monster drops to make back what you had.

Rare Monster Drop items are like 10 per day. Other items like green d'hide bodies are over 2k/hr.

I'm pretty sure salve only works for melee.

For the defense bonses and special effects as a whole, it's way worth the degrading. My 73 smith + POH makes it cheaper too :twisted:

Waterbirth Island's Snape grass? Just use lunar tele, stock up, use a BoB if possible, and use CW ring. Makes money pretty fast. Last time I checked snape grass was 450ea.

Woodcutting. I think xp/cash is better than mining's rates. ' Besides, mining is dead slow :P

Alchemising is faster than Humidify, but you lose more. Air WAving is a good source of HP xp and somewhat good drops. Fire Bolting with Chaos Gauntlets on Metal Dragons works too.
