  1. If you don't want to invest all your wealth into Snaps, 4 Avantoe and 1 Snap is nice as well. Obviously planting the Snap in My Arm's. I personally was buying around 100 Avantoe and 25 Snap seeds at a time, grow, sell, rinse and repeat.
  2. I got strangely addicted to the Sawmill. It's terribly repetative, but I really enjoyed it. :P It was something new and fun, and I met a lot of cool people there. Sadly I don't think it's as popular as it was when it first came out, but oh well. :) Get dat Crystal saw.
  3. I think by "Hire-Me" clothes, he meant, are those the clothes you wear on job interviews? Trying to say, "Hire me!!" by looking nice. <3:
  4. The only quest I would HIGHLY suggest for Farming is My Arm's Big Adventure. I didn't do it until I was around 83 Farming, and I really really regret not doing it sooner; the Trollheim herb patch is great to have at your disposal. Otherwise, DM isn't THAT important. People are successful at Farming without using Lunars to get around.
  5. I hope I don't need Dream Mentor for those teles! You could always do Dream Mentor. ;) I did DM, so I don't really recall if it's a requirement or not. :/
  6. There's lots of goodies at higher levels. If you really get serious about Farming, Lunar Magicks is the way to go. Fertile Soil, Fishing Guild and Catherby teleports, and Spellbook Swap are invaluable. I only used it a few times, but Plant Cure is also handy when in a pinch. Happy Stringing, don't w/r/i/s/t too much.

    What? e.e
  8. Another cheap special is Belladonna, planted on the west side of Draynor Manor. The seeds are cheap, you get something like 600 xp for harvesting, and the Nightshade can be used to make Weapon poison for Herblore EXP/cash. It's a short run from the Falador farming patch. :-)

Just made oven-roasted vegetables (brussel sprouts, cauliflower, carrots and yams) served over mung beans, from scratch. Delicious!
  10. First, it's free. It's also very click-intensive, which rules out (successful) AFKing. It's all self-contained; you don't need to bring any items, nor can you take items OUT of the area. The only item I would suggest bringing is a Crystal saw. You cannot bring followers or familiars into the area with you. Basically, you select a "Quick" or "Hard" job; the former is faster but gives less EXP, the latter takes longer but gives more EXP. For each job, you are required to make a certain amount of planks, all of various shapes and sizes. As far as what you DO is concerned: Fill inventory up with logs from the nearby pile of logs. Place logs into the sawmill, which cuts them into standard planks. Retrieve planks from bin. Using your regular/Crystal saw, cut planks into desired shapes using the nearby workbenches. Repeat from Step 1 as needed, as you'll likely run out of planks. Once you have all the planks made, speak to Jill to complete your job. You get a SMALL amount of EXP for cutting each plank, but this amount can be doubled by using a Crystal saw, hence my suggesting it. This usually amounts to 1,000 - 2,000 EXP. You get a fairly decent chunk of BONUS EXP upon completing each job. This amount is NOT affected by the Crystal saw. Bonus EXP correlates to your Woodcutting level, so it increases accordingly as you level. It's around 8,500 EXP for a Hard job at level 99. That's the basic gist of it. Read up more on it in the Sawmill Jobs section of the Woodcutting guide, written by yours truly. ;) (There's also a few more important tips there that I CBA to type because I'm doing this from my phone at the moment.)
  11. I know you're training via Ivy, but you should check out the Sawmill if you haven't already. You won't be able to AFK, but the xp/hr is far greater than Ivy if you concentrate on it. All I did for 99 Woodcutting was Sawmill and 2 Evil Trees a day, using up the leprechaun magic from both trees. If you fail find you don't like Sawmill training, you should still do Evil Trees.
  12. You can always rely on "safer" herbs for 4 patches, and plant a "riskier" one (see: Snaps or Torstol) in the Trollheim patch. That way you don't have to worry about losing all that GP for the better herbs.
  13. (P.S. Farming is still fun without Juju potions or Scroll of life.) What Magic level are you aiming for, Stringing and all that jazz?
  14. Woodcutting is the hawtest skill. I'm gonna stalk dis blawg now. :3

  19. Yeah, apparently it's from something called the CARD Act that was enacted in 2010. I got my credit card a few years ago before I was 21, but I don't even really use it all that often. I only use it every once in a while for small things so I can try to build my credit up. I think you would be hard-pressed to find a co-signer anyway, since you're still young and would probably be seen as a "risk." On top of that, say for instance you got your mom or dad to be a co-signer, if you fail to make a payment on time, it will reflect poorly on their credit score as well. And if THEY have bad credit to begin with, the creditors may not even let that person be your co-signer. Maybe find a girl who has a credit card, and date her.
  20. I edited my post above. :3 last post on the previous page. Blargh.
  21. Abort! Abort! Abort! Having a credit card should not be a requirement in order to have a girlfriend. Also, are you at least 21 years of age and live in the United States? /creep I only ask because apparently credit card companies can no longer issue credit to people younger than 21. The only exceptions to the age restriction are: you have to have a stable source of income, or you have to have a co-signer.
